Who do you think will be the next manager?
Douggy B replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
The problem being is that the new owner will want to win the fans over to them which would mean either the return of KK (and another walkout a year down the line) or Shearer who is totally untested and if he gets sacked what then? More protest? -
Who do you think will be the next manager?

Would you be happy with him as Spurs manager? He was a good servant to Spurs in the past. Great in the 67 cup final for us apparently...bit before my time mind. I'm aware of that. Now are you going to answer my question? I would give him a chance, I'm still not Redknap's biggest fan but hes doing the business so Im happy to be wrong. So do you rate Kinnear higher than Redknapp? As a person or a manager? Take a guess. Then no but I would certainly be giving him more of a chance than some on here. Coming from someone who was physically sick after "Redkrapp" got the Spurs job that's quite funny tbh. Kinnear would get the same chance to prove everybody wrong in the same way the likes of Souness, Roeder or Allardyce got. Or "Redkrapp" at Spurs for this matter. But actually wanting him is just a totally other thing. As I have already said in this thread, I have never really liked Redknapp, but I am giving him a chance and he has my full support, I am glad hes proving me wrong. And so would the vast of us do with Kinnear if he got appointed permantently. Not much sign of that on here yesterday. I think he proved himself worthy over the last few weeks and for the sake of a little bit of continuity, should be kept on. He isn't the permanent manager yet though. And that's how he is judged. You don't rate him higher than Redknapp - who you don't like. But we should be happy about him being made permanent manager. You're really tiresome in your attempts to be controversial. How is it controversial? Harry has worked miracles in his first 5 games in charge, no one can deny that but JK has a better record than KK had with the same players....and KK is supposed to be the messiah. Since you have had a few key players return you have been knocking it around well IMO. Last week it was "we can push for Europe" this week its "JK out" Reactionary nonsense TBH. -

Which basically means any sane person should want him replaced ASAP. Im surprised you are not to embarrassed to come on here after your contribution to the US election thread. -

Why? He hasn't shown anything out of the ordinary the way that Roeder did before he got the job full time. He's done an OK job given the circumstances, nothing more than that. Someone on here said he had better results than KK has had in his latest tenure. -

This mentality needs to be adopted to be honest. He's gone and he's not coming back. I just want a decent manager and some stability now. No guarantee of that with Shearer. No guarantee of that with anyone tbh... Except Ramos. Proven European pedigree. And our first trophy in almost a decade. Wont have a bad word said about him. -

Mark Hughes. -
It was a foul on Cacapa leading up to the goal. You could guarantee given a role reversal that AJ would have been flat on his face after that.

On MOTD now.

ha ha you have to admit, like monday there has been an element of overreaction. Its not as bad as all that.
-
I think you should include Jonas. Didn't have a great match but he's the best player at the club imo. Probably - post match anger effect - he did piss me off today by playing far too many passes that an eight year old could have cut-out though. Enrique was worse like. Could barely pass to a team mate all match. Probably top of my death wish list today - though Martins was pushing him all the way. Overpaid players in under-performance shocker.
-
I spoke to a Celtic supporting mate about this. He's scottish but he says Celtic are an Irish club. I asked him if he was Irish and he said yes. I called him a tit.
-
ha ha ridiculous.

Exactly, I think some people want to see him fail to prove their opinions of JK right. A couple of wins and you are steaming up the league again. Nothing is as bad as it seems after a loss. Or as good as it seems after a win. Fuck me Danny, you're talking some sense today. That win got you all a fluster? I was saying it on here after your game against Villa on Monday but I got told to fuck off. In this situation level heads are needed. The worst thing both teams could do is think they are out of it.

Or as good as it seems after a win. When you look at the table it's mental. 1 win between us and 10th ffs. The cream will (eventually) rise to the top but there are no dead certs for relegation this season. Brom most likely IMO.

At one point, the ball bounced in front of him and he fucking leapt back as if he'd never seen it happen before in his life. This is basic stuff that should be second nature for a professional footballer, the kid is just not good enough and it's too late to teach him this stuff. He's only 24. Honest guv
