Not really, pretty obvious response to being showed up for having terrible taste. I would even expect better from you Alex, the poor mans Fop.

While I agree the above are shit at least he likes MGMT, which certainly salvages him some cool points. Hence only 75% cunt. In fact, reading back he deserves higher but, Im sure hes a nice lad who loves his mum so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I didn't read Fever Pitch until a couple of years ago, and I've been a Toon fan for for nearly 15 years so plastic fan? Wrong. As for my music taste, its varied, but to be honest I couldn't give a shit its a football forum after all! Jonny, you are judged in life by what you like, not what you're like. Sort it out mate. Mate, you like Spurs! Hope life isn't too hard on you! See you've failed another little test there. A team is something that is thrust upon you by your family you dont just chose to like a team. You sir are a hornby through and through.

Maybe your right, however he is welsh with a penchant for Maroon 5, Keane and Kate Nash, which means his opinion is automatically invalid. As for Hornby, almost as responsible for the new generation of plastic fans as Sky IMO.

This is the thread to try it. If you manage it, your prize is being able to move in to her council house and there live rent free for the duration of the relationship. Imagine your wage, being used exclusively for White Lightening and Golden Virginia!! Its the jackpot.

You lambasted me for saying the same thing about 35 pages ago. Get back to defending Spurs. Wrong, I took a side defending those who had been stitched up. You dropped about 4 differing view points in one thread. You just came across a bit of a pansy is all. -
Did she not get signed up along side Justin Timberlake or something? He was fluffing.

Hitler got most of his money from Jewish banks fwiw. Yes this is a hijack attempt. Gaza would have been more topical TBH. Gazza? Jewish Geordie. Innit. -

Not quite no, however the far right have never been a friend of my lot. However I have no trouble reconciling my issues with them and peoples right to chose any political they like without being outed. Most will just be old people worried about immigration anyway rather than Hitler loving cunts. Also being of a religion that demands that its people respect the law of the country in which they live I can see why people are concerned about an apparent Muslim agenda of forcing their beliefs on others. The far left are just as bad in my opinion but they are applauded rather than lambasted. To me its just common sense. On a more stereotypical note, I just vote for who will make me better off. -

And not once has he showed any interest in meeting up with the exiled Geordie forumites down here. Traitor, I say, traitor! You lot aren't members of the BNP though so whats the point in him meeting up for a talk? Mate, I dont think I would be welcome at a BNP meeting -
Well the courts are going to decide that now arent they?

God knows what they were telling him. Or what he was making up.....but if a bid was placed for Modric and Collicini thats 25mil right there.

so they werent planning on selling, so what are you whinging about? Everybody knows, there is no buyer. And that Ashley will lose millions if you go down. He will not let that happen and you will invest in Jan. That Milner money may come in very handy yet. Why is everything from the club stating that January will be another £0 transfer budget then? Not at all what they said. Sell before you buy doesnt mean zero spend. I expect some of the higher earners to be shipped out with a moderate transfer kitty to invest in players of Collicini and Jonas' ilk. They money freed up on the wage bill should allow that. Yes it does, if they can reduce the wage bill that doesn't mean there'll be more to spend, in fact looking at Ashley's record in that context it probably means there'll be a £0 transfer fee budget and a negative over all spend with savings on wages. "Investment" Course it does. Owens wages alone would free up 6m a year that the club could spend. If you sold Shay, Owen and Barton I reckon you could by 6 players on reasonable wages who could push on up the league. Could, possibly. But won't, in all likelihood. You mean if we sold all our decent players we could actually had a functional squad like Keegan wanted (with a lot less quality)? Of course if Wise and Ashley had half a clue we could have had the functional squad and the quality as well....... "investment". And continue on with the crippling wage bill? Maybe ask those players politely to take a wage cut? I can understand why you are all like this because you are used to supporting a club willing to mortgage its future on the odd big name to keep the fans appeased.

Its not an argument Alex, as much as you would like to make it that way, its simple business. People are talking on here as though Ashley is pocketing the money himself and laughing at the toons misfortune. The fact is, he is trying to achieve a difficult balancing act of trying to make you viable and putting together a decent side. These things cant happen over night.
-
That's what I'm wondering about too, the potential profitably and where it's going. Surely offset by the 6K empty seats every week?

Which would have freed up money for more signings. Signings that wouldnt be injured / suspended for a good portion of the season. Like when Milner went. He paid for the new three. three good players for one fairly overrated one. Hardly been pulling up trees at villa 7 appearances in the league five from the bench?
