Platinum. Is Danny B a comedy Spurs alter ego of a board regular? What I am saying is that we have done all that but going to watch Spurs is exactly the same as going to watch any other club. You love it because its your club. NUFC isn't special, neither is Spurs, neither is Man Utd, neither is Barnet. Its only sky sports that are trying to convince us that it is.

I would not overly burden people with details of my life, in which they have no interest in. Yet still you do..... No I don't.

Did you listen how the southern shandy drinkers shut the fuck up when Liverpool took the lead again? Deathly silence - call themselves supporters? Them fucking sandcastle flags were an embarrasment an all. Hate it when clubs 'organise' that gubbins. Looked particularly bad against Liverpool given that they're the only British club that do flags properly. Tyldsley summed it up tbh - "Chelsea gave away free flags to all their supporters tonight" *camera pans to the scousers* "This lot brought their own, they always do." Don't you find arse licking commentry like that embarrassing? I do. Away fans always carry flags with them, including Chelsea, just because the scouse have one for every campaign they currently having running doesn't make them better fans. I am not trying to defend either bunch of fans, but waving a few flags does not a good set of fans make. We outsung the kop for 90 mins up there in the league last year, they only seem to sing on European nights now. More media bullshit IMO.

HA HA HA HA whats funny daniel ? No nothing, its.......classy.

A lot of bitterness in here. Anybody but the scousers TBH. I live down here and know more Plastic Scouse than Plastic Chavski. Fuck em all to be honest.

There's the golden gloves right there. ha ha

An IT giant’s management style scores in German football
Douggy B replied to ChezGiven's topic in Newcastle Forum
Like you lot had. Exactly. If you look at the success stories this season, Villa and Everton, the clubs are run by the manager not the chairman. Chelsea and Livepool's problems can be directly traced to board level interference, as can ours and yours. The point of Chez Given's article was that business and football can mix, we are an example of failure when a football club is run like a business. Clearly there is a difference. I totally agree, I was just picking out, what I believe the reason to be behind the clubs success. -

****A hands-off management style**** -
Apparently the week after next the secret millionaire is going to help out this fella who runs a club for disadvantaged footballers.... God its too easy...I can't be bothered.

You certainly are "special"
-
Yet anything in the media disagrees with your view of NUFC its groundless bollox and that media outlet should be immediately boycoutted.
-
Either way a media fabrication.

Wowser, where from mate? I'm in the market for a new bed. Argoooooos. TBF the frame doesn't look that bad. The mattress will need chucking straight away though it will be shit at that price. Any mattress under two hundred will be a dodgy roof rack waiting to happen.

On what basis? The only thing I can think of is that you have a bigger stadium and even that you won't have for much longer. How long have you had your 50K stadium now? We still have a higher average attendance you. http://nufc.com/2008-09html/attendance-all-time.html We are bigger in just about every criteria. The passionate fans thing is just a sky fabrication that you lot are clinging on to. When you dont have a come back post a picture. Job done.

So it is true, you have all bought into the hype. Newcastle is the home of football? Jeez. I always thought we as clubs had a lot in common but lately I really think I am wrong. You really do believe it don't you? More sentimentality than the Liverpool, More arrogance than the Mancs and More delusion than the spammers. Not an ounce of modesty in the lot of you. Orrible.

WHAT? Oh my god, the irony. Tom, go to the search section on here and type in Spurs / Tottenham or anything related and there are tonnes of threads going back years. Do the same on glory glory for Necastle and you wont even get a fifth of the amount on here This is your cup final, we have had ours already this year. What a joke.
-
We have had our fair share of Chairmen hated by the fans Tom, scholar almost ran us into the ground and sugar ditched one of our most successful managers, yes we protested but we still turned up. Real fans.

Don't try and be Stevie Tom, it doesn't become you. London is widely acknowledged as the best city in this country and one of the best in the world, you you imagine the Olympics in Newcastle? Notts county, Derby County, Grimsby, Darlington, Juve all wear black and white off the top of my head. I would say you were associated with a good brand of football in the past but you are hardly famed for it like the push and run Spurs style that Spurs pioneered. As for local rivalry, you are a one horse town and there has been a fair bit of time when you and SAFC have been split across two leagues. Average compared to the Old firm, North London, even the Liverpool Manc rivalry, probably on a par with the East Anglian rivalry TBH. I know it seems special to you. I am sure people who go to watch Plymouth play think Home Park is Mecca BUT you are no different to any other club. You fans will get to prove themselves if you have an extended stay in the Championship TBF. Our fans don't need to prove ourselves to anyone, that's not why people go to the game. The 55'000 we averaged in the fifties in the second flight weren't there to prove a point, especially to a shitty club like Spurs. You live on a myth when you have any criticisms anyway, Averaging less than 20k was a boycott, that league cup game was a boycott, one worked one might not of. Who the fuck are Spurs? Cockney Mackems, always have been, always will be. Well I remember not quite so far back you lot getting 15K week in week out in the second tier, lets hope that their isnt a "boycott" when you go down this time because true supporters turn up no matter what.

I suggest you go to one then mate, basically they all turn up in white tshirts trying not to be spotted but unfortunatly the brown trousers give them away as they run the gauntlet down the high road. Its certainly a lot more more tasty than a bunch of 12 year olds running on to the pitch gving it large Didn't your lot just sit there and take it?
