  1. Yet you PM me telling me how I have lived the place up and made it better. I thought you were going to propose at one point. It seems that the Fopitis is spreading. While clicking on that quote link actually takes you to my post earlier in this thread saying that I hope you're banned. It's hard to believe that you actually enjoy spending your day doing this shit. If you can show me how to link to a PM, I will do it.

  3. Stevie just told me he's posted 6 times and the admin moderating his posts and not posting them, he said he hopes Jimbo is proud of himself, making a name for himself like the ref who sent Kevin Moran off in the 1985 FA Cup Final. HA HA

  5. TBF The admin do have form, I fully expect my account to be disabled if we win On Sunday.
  6. Which would leave Taylor up against Modric. Enrique did alright against Lennon last game, is he injured? Spurs Probable Line up: --------------------Gomes-------- Corluka----The King---Woody---BAE Lennon-----Jenas------Wilson--Modric ---------------Pav----Keane---------
  7. Fit, Banking on Keane and Pav to start and Defoe to appear from the bench. just out of interest, do you rate pavlyuchenko ? Not massively, his pace is the main concern. He has a good first touch and a fierce shot but he isnt premiership paced. I hope it is fatigue from playing 2 seasons back to back and getting used to the mental pace. Who knows. One more season.

  9. good morning daniel, how are you on this fine day ? Fine thank you Tommo. You? yeah good thanks. looking forward to sunday ? Of course, always look forward to football. Shame the match can sometimes ruin a good drinking day. Confident but not overly. yeah silly early ko. where i live is an hour from newcastle so leaving mine at 3am Good levels of commitment mate. Shame some of the more southern based fans couldn't show the same. Will you be down in time to sample some of the delights of the Tottenham High road? yeah i hope to be down about 11ish with a bit of luck. whats your plans ? Hamilton Hall (Liverpool Street) from 10am, then down to the ground possibly via the Brickies (Bricklayers Arms) if I have time.
  10. We do our fair share of shooting ourselves in the foot. I am just hoping we don't experience a Gomes flap resulting in a goal. Stevie and Tom will be intolerable.

  14. Honestly an aquaintance rang me from the concourse at half time to ask me if a shot they had cleared off the line was a goal and it sonded like he was ringing me from the supermarket. No singing, no noise, just quiet patter. If the New Lane ends up like that I wont be going.
  15. http://www.topspurs.com/thfccol-martinc.htm OK back on topic. This is a great article from Martin Cloake about his memories of the day, the way football fans were perceived and the way we perceived ourselves. Also he questions the motives of those who have changed the game "for the better". Also links to a great Guardian article.
  16. I'm not being funny but making away fans welcome (rightfully or otherwise) is not what we are all about. That said you can freely drink in many pubs around the ground with a valid ticket. The Elmhurst is probably the most away friendly, if you want real atmosphere go to the bricklayers (not in colours), the Billy Nick I think is mixed and they have dancing girls. All pissholes but this is proper football, not a trip to the emirates for some red wine.
  17. But it does, that's what our cocknee sparra can't quite get How is that different to Sunderland or Boro? If boro sell out (they used to), thats like 1 in 3 of the population attending. Would you call that special? Would be nice to get an answer on this. The argument's specious though. So what if other clubs are special to their fans? I couldn't care less. The toon is special to geordies....what's it got to do with you? Exactly. I couldn't have put it better myself.
  18. tbf That smiley has a double meaning tbf Good wank or bad wank?
