How many has he notched so far?

Lets hope he can cut it being a small fish in a big pond.

I think Andy Gray makes a few good points here, I was never in favour of us pushing a deal through.... I can only agree with everything he's said there, apart from one day Spurs are going to break in to the top four, we're the only ones with the calibre and stature and belief to do it, but we're 5 years away maybe. The likes of Bentley if he does well will use Spurs like a stepping stone as they all do, the likes of Carrick, Keane and now of course Berbatov. Let's not mince words, losing Keane and possibly Berbs is a blunder. Can't really say it's a blunder on their part ... part of being a feeder club really. Has Rafa started grooming him for a left back spot yet? Mere feeder club mortals simply wouldn't understand. HAHAHA. Not long before Robbies having a strop on the sideline. Rafa the rotator vs the arm waving oirish man. I cant wait. Wasnt Keane always the one sacrificed when Bent/Defoe needed to come on ? Happened a few times, it was normally followed by a kicked bottle and a shirt thrown across the dug out. Big time charlie-itis Im afraid.

Your man wrong again then? These things are liquid, terms are agreed with the player. We just cant afford him unless we sell Berba. What a crock of shit You never mentioned it was dependent on that deal going through, did you? You also seemed confident Berbatov was staying iirc so that would seem a tad contradictory. Also, this bloke you know who is never wrong had Malbranque staying and Kaboul going to Sunderland. Have I missed any? Just Bentley that is done, Bywater that I said was dead the day before it broke and Corluka on which we wait.

Andy Gray is about as anti Spurs as it gets. Lawro has more credibility in my eyes. I always chuckle about when Stalteri scored the winner against the Spammers in the 4-3 and Andy Grays impatial commentry was "OH NO, oooohhh nooo" ha ha ha. Modric will be fine, I agree at 16 mil he is a little on the expensive side but you pay for quality. Arshavin is looking unlikely as I dont think Berbs is off now. So just Kaboul to shift and Corluka and Veloso to get in. Job done.

Oh god, do me a favour.

Your the only one who is delusional. As Spear categorically stated Arsenal were interested but he prefered to move to us. Shearer was well publicised. So please take your personal attacks and what not elsewhere. Regards, Attain I'll give you shearer but he is the exeption that proves the rule. Apparently Zokora snubbed Arsenal for us. Do I believe that for a second? No? We offered more money for the player than they did, end of story. If there was interest from Arsenal, they obviously didnt match your bid. You can romantisise all you like but Plymouth will sell to the highest bidder and to be honest if you are there the bright lights of any prem club seem like a step up.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Brilliant. If any of the top four had been serious about signing these players they would have got them. Bale would be a united player now if they hadn't been scared off by SCBCs valuation. Delusional. Regards, B
-
Bingo. Although you probably pay him more than he would get at Arsenal anyway.
-
ha ha. Become? Sad reality is, if the top four want one of your players, then they will have them. No one is exempt.

Someone challenges another of those NUFC myths and back come TTs sensitive types. "Please admin, ban this WUM....Peeeerrrrrrwwwweeeaaasssseee" As ever, you miss the point. This is how it starts though Alex: I post a stat in response to a stat posted by Stevie You think "wait a minute, this isnt looking good for us" and post, "This is boring" Then one of your mates then chips in "what has this got to do with NUFC (even though, that is what were discussing)" Then another one pipes up "why are you even here" Then "Admin ban this WUM" I just feel you all might be a little over sensitive. Write to the U.N. Either that or disapear off for a while, whilst you all dry your eyes and come back later.
-
Stats not working out for you Stevie? Just going for musdslinging instead?

No I am able to take a little light hearted ribbing about my club and its fans, unlike some on here who go crying foul every time I post something that is not 100% pro NUFC.

I have never met anybody with a bad word to say about him. Top man.

More than the 10,016 the saw Tottenham in a top flight League game in 1986, that's for certain. Apparently Celtic the other best fans in the world got 20,000 tonight against Citeh with free admission pmsl Free admisson? shirley not? Interesting fact I heard today stevie, Two english teams have never had an average attendance of less than 20K. Name them for me. Interesting fact I heard was since the war two English football clubs have held world record average gates, we're one of them. Another interesting fact I've heard was out of Newcastle and Tottenham who have averaged under 21,000 in the top flight over a season. You obviously know the answer? I do but we have both spent some time outside the top flight, surely only fickle fans would turn their back on their club due to relegation. Fickle fans come to the fore, when clubs are lowly TENTH, in the top flight. All the clubs had decent gates during the football booms of the sixties and seventies. 20,000 average gate and coming 10th in the best league in the world with no excuses. That and along with 15000 gates IN THE PREMIERSHIP era, have cemented my belief Tottenham will always be mickey mouse. The two teams that have never averaged under 20K in a season? Us and Manchester United. Just checked our ticket info for our next preseason.....only singles left. Should be good. Goodnight Stevie. Finished yet again........ 02-Mar-86 Division 1 16,436 H Liverpool L 1 - 2 Waddle 04-Mar-86 F.A. Don't have nightmares do sleep well....doooooooo doooooooo dododo doo doooooo doo do do What part of average are you struggling with Stevie? Do you need me to explain what average means? We can all pick out particular games, for example in the Uefa a couple of season back where you were half full. The FACT is we have never averaged under 20K over a season, even in the second tier. Why can't you answer my question ugly? Of Newcastle and Tottenham who have averaged under 21,000 in the top flight? A can it was Spurs, so you have pulled out a stat to say that you have averaged 1K more than us in ONE season. When we went down, unlike your mob, it wasnt rats from a sinking ship, we stood firm and cheered the team back to the top division. No one likes a fair weather fan, and Newcastle seems to have more than most.
