Pretty prolific in his last 9 games for West Ham. Are you doing it on purpose now? What? Missing the point. Obviously not. OK he scored 25 in 38 for Corinthians. Is that prolific enough for you?

Keegan and Ashley row over Everton move for Smith

Where did I say it was? Honestly you miss the fucking point every time I make a post. Even when I explain and clarify what I meant. Where did I say that you said it was The whole Ashley being a fan was an add on to my original point (highlighted). Jeez this is hard work. Cheers then. I never actually realised he wasn't a Newcastle fan or indeed a fan of any club. The press haven't mentioned that. meh. -
So do I fella, so do I. Viduka's going to lose some serious weight wrapped in that next season. Hhhhmmm basted.

I think he realised that you cant hide away if your a football club owner. I dont think he was trying to con anyone just show his enthusiasm for the club. Ashley is NOT a newcastle fan, he doesn't even have a football club. But having a fan in charge is not always the best way to run one. -
So how is that "getting him back ten fold"? You got to ask yourself Stevie, why he is what he is. The man refusing to eat at the same table as the rest of his team at Pompey.
-
Money doesn't buy you happiness Steve. And evidently in his case nor does the odd trophy.

Do you credit him with that kind of media savvy? I just have, haven't I? Indeed but my question was really asking you to reconsider what you had just wrote. I got that thanks. And? And what? I haven't changed my mind. Oh dear. -

Why people would even think that winds us up anymore is beyond me. We've had our revenge several times over already. SC hasnt been seen at WHL for about 3 years now. He seems to pick up an injury every time he is due to play. Funny how you still sing songs about him then eh? Yep I find it very amusing. I still hate him but I dont feel like he has got one over us any more. As I say we have paid him back ten times over. I'm sure he feels like that too, what with his 2 Premiership medals, 3 FA Cup winners medals and indeed his Champions League Final goal...How he must have wished he'd stayed at N17 for the epic League Cup Final with Chelsea Reserves. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...l-Campbell.html http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2006/fe.../sport.comment1

A football club is a living breathing thing and the press can easily be brought onside with careful and articulate management. Ashley has been poor with the press imo. Before coming to NUFC, Ashley didnt even give interviews. He was always referred to in the press as "the reclusive Mike Ashley". It seems he needs to get some decent PR people in. Strange thing is he's the type of maverick (going to meetings with plastic bags full of folders) that I normally like. He has always come across as an odd ball to me but there is no doubting his acumen. He has a set of rules that he sticks to: low overheads, economies of scale and vertical integration (Buying out his suppliers). -
One eyed Stevie. That was the biggest mugging ever you got away with that day.

Lineker did a piece saying they should just do away with the rule. I am tempted to agree.

Oh yeah, Stevie G did it with Barry and Apparently Neville was all over Carrick on England duty before he went to Manure. Then you have the "I would love to play with" stories in the press.. All part of the tapping up armoury, its not just clandestine meetings in hotels.
