Nothings changed. We still need 2 wins. Getting top 4 isn’t supposed to be easy.

The next 3 games are going to be great. How long is it since we had anything positive to look forward to at this stage of a season? We've waited decades for this. Whatever happens, this is the beginning of a special time in this club's history.

I think there's a strong possibility he's left his cards in the dressing room and is too embarrassed to admit it

Inflation is mainly being driven by energy prices (amongst other factors). Its not being caused by increased demand. Using interest rates to control this kind of inflation isn't going to work.

So Liverpool have gone on a run? Who could have predicted it?
-
Not least because the narrative switches to Liverpool possibly catching ManU and not us.

Apparently

They cant catch us if we get to 72 If we both ended up on 71, which is mathematically possible, then it will come down to goal difference. At that point it would be very close as they would have gained at least +6 and we would have gained 12 points from 7 games (difficult to say what would happen to our goal difference in that case) I fully expect us to get to 72+ points And as others have pointed out, its likely given Liverpool's form this season, they will drop points They are the only team I think have any chance of catching us. And, if they do, there is still a chance we would both finish above ManU anyway

If they get 71 points, they will have won all 6 games and their goal difference will be better by at least 6. In that scenario, if we also get 71 points then it will come down to goal difference. Therefore, if we get 72 points we would be guaranteed to be above them. I think we can expect to get 13 points from our next 7. I think it’s quite unlikely that Liverpool win all 6, but it’s a possibility. I think our mentality should be we need 72 points. We should expect Liverpool to win all their games, however unlikely that is.

What am I missing? If they win all six they will have 71. So to be sure, we will need 72?

Liverpool are going on a run. We’ll need 72 points, but we are more than capable of delivering that.
