the worst thing is that this means we might have to play Simpson in the Europe League
-
he'll be fit for the next game, looked like a niggle and there are two weeks to the next match
-
Debuchys injury looked minor

thought Campbell's movement was excellent, he found lots of space, shame no one picked his runs -
anyone see him following Eto'o round trying to get his shirt at the end
-
Perch was magic last night. his distribution is fantastic now - played some really tidy one touch stuff - particularly near the end of the match
-
don't let him on a night out with Nile

Shola looks like a very narrow midfield -
-
exactly. rather have one last crack with him being fit and firing to see how far we can go, particularly with this new squad

Fair enough. I was just trying to get you to question some of your ideas about beauty in the same way an atheist would try to get a Christian to think about the logic of his belief. If a Christian replied to you "this discussion is pointless" despite you trying to raise a point about the scientific validity of Jesus's miracles, would you accuse him of ducking a question?
-
So you don't think the New Testament has validity as historical evidence?
-
Yes it is - as Jesus claimed to be the son of god then if you choose to follow him you choose to believe in god
-
Neither do you by the look of things.
-
so you're saying free will doesn't exist? You definitely choose to have faith - the entire of the New Testament is loaded with rhetoric about the choice to follow Jesus or not. hence Heaven or Hell - how you choose to live your life results in one or the other...
-
but free will is at the heart of Christian theology...so I don't think that's true..
-
I disagree; It's the belief that there is no god, or gods, or any higher power and in this age is usually tied up with secular humanism which is a belief system just like any other. If you had a literal absence of belief then you'd be a nihilist - like me. But why do you find religious architecture beautiful?
-
they are pretty. but if you're an atheist, and therefore are committed to a view of the world that opposes religion, you must feel some sort of conflict a/ partaking in a ritual that is fundamentally related to a monotheistic view of the world B/ has actively attempted to surpress atheism throughout its history right? one of the main arguments for atheism I hear is that Christianity is happy to wilfully and ignorantly pick and choose its favourite parts of The Bible to justify its means. however couldn't one say the same about atheists, in relation to Christianity, wanting to get married in a church?
-
I was more referring to your opposition to HF's point - that Christrianity has a history of systematically surpressing homosexuality over the past 2000 years and therefore wanting to enter into an institution that has endured due to theism is ideologically perplexing. I guess the tax breaks are good though right?
-
It's entertaining to say the least - hopefully Labour can wipe the floor with them in 2015
-
A Jewish couple would not get married in a Swastika laden, Nazi festival hall right? even if the architecture was aesthetically pleasing..

the plan will to be to let him play through the middle and have Tiote deal with him. he'll do fuck all there
