Newcastle United Vs. West Bromwich Albion
ULSTER MAG replied to loonyTOON's topic in Newcastle Forum
Over for this game, hope it goes as well as the other 3 games I've been this season, Villa, Sunderland and Liverpool. Going for a 2-0 win. -
I'm in, if you can get 40!
-
3rd May 2003 against Birmingham. A goal from that great young waste of money, Hugo Viana, sealed the points in a 1-0 win. Was seated in the East Stand in between two old dears, who never shut up the whole game.
-
Any news on if Barton/Ireland will make it? Thinking positive today, comfortable win 2-0!

They'd be like Aston Villa if they came down mate. No trophies on the table for 10 years, they'd both be at 1980's levels gate wise. Makes me laugh when they claim to be the best fans in the world, biggest glory hunters in the world. I'm not gonna start bangin me chest and drum like I have done, but WE ARE BY FAR AND AWAY THE MOST LOYAL FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD. Anyone that contests that is a wum or a cunt. sort of going to contest that. I agree when taliking about the "big clubs" by that I'm including the likes of Derby, Millwall. The loyalest supporters have got to be the likes of Crewe, Hartlepool etc. As a fanbase I mean. Hartlepool have lost half their support since Sheff Wed did them in the play off final in 2005. We've been hit with nukes left right and centre, and we're still standing together. Well most of us, there is the odd J69 deserter example. aye I agree with that. never fails to amaze me when you go away, Blackburn, Wigan etc. when we reach cup finals it's as if the whole of Newcastle is there Last time I went to Blackburn, on the game of the day Barton was in the paper calling us wankers, we'd lost 5 in a row, and we filled the entire end both tiers. Says it all. Calling the Rangers fans Huns makes you no better than them. Both sets of fans are as bad as each other, one lot singing about the ira and the other the uda. Both have also contributed to the sectarian killings in Northern Ireland, or the six counties you refer to, over the years. As football fans the evidence hits you in the face Rangers fans are far worse than Celtic's. Am not trying to say you're Rev Iain Paisley, but try and look at it from a neutral point of view, which is EXACTLY what I am. If I was from Northern Ireland I'd support an Ulster team or and English team, the OF just attract the Ulster bigots amongst yous. Tell you when I was in Belfast I noticed LOADS of Chelsea shirts, more the Rangers even, the three of them call themselves the blues brothers over there with Linfield. Yes Gers fans are worse, but for Gene to come out saying they funded murders while Celtic are a billion times better, is way of the mark. Many Rangers fans over here have jacked it in because of the sectarian element within Scottish football. I was one, went when i was younger, from the time you got to Glasgow it was nothing but a day of hatred and bigotry. As regards the Chelsea tops, you will see more Man U, Arsenal, even Newcastle tops out and about rather than a Gers tops. Some Rangers fan told me they have to be put on separate ferries because in the past people had been thrown off boats, and one set land in Stranraer and the other land round the bay in that little port. Yes they are usually on separate ferries but people being thrown overboard are a bit ridiculous.

Really should be home and dry, created enough in that half to be well ahead.
-
Nothing but a win I reckon. 2-1 to the Toon! Probably go behind early again, goals by Best and Jonas (yes he will score sometime) will see us through.
-
Wolves, WHU and Wigan for me. Like to see everton and villa dragged into too tho.
-
RIP. Got a few close mates out there with the Royal Irish.
-
Brum don't score many, also hard to score against. Another draw I reckon, followed by all the doom merchants coming on here saying were going to get relegated.
-
Take the last five games, of those, we should have won at sunderland, spurs and today. Don't rate pardew but I don't see relegation oa possibility this season, too many other shite teams around us.
-
Well what's everyone's thoughts on today game? Reckon they are beatable but I'd settle for a draw, 1-1. Funny if kuqi scored a late winner all the same. No streams today, away on a mini-break, up near Kevin's neck of the woods.
-
Cant blame him to be honest... if true.
-
Was in a supporters club over here, recently left it tho. They done everything your talking about, just couldnt committ myself to going to meetings etc.
-
40 points should be enough. bottom 3 teams will need to win more games than theyve won all season to get to 40. Still, it will be squeaky bum time but if we can manage to pick up a few points in the run of games after Arsenal we'll be ok.
-
I have got every prediction wrong so far this season, hoping it continues.
-
Agree with Kevin going to get humped 3-0, mightin even bother watching it.
-
After the events of yesterday I couldn't really give a fuck about this game, needed at least 2 new players in and ended up loosing another 2. Just hope the players can lift themselves for it. Will be interesting to hear what Pardew has to say.

19p a litre + a few pence to help more development + a few pence to pay to get it all over the country + the VAT/ governments cut to offset what they will loose out on diesel/petrol sales = £1.20/£1.30 a litre.
-
Gutted, for all our good work they get a jammy deflected goal. All the same, many here thought we'd get beat convincingly without Tiote and Carroll.
-
Lost my stream just before the goal,

Go to myp2p dot eu and pick one, loads on today.

The Mackem Destroyer and Best will start up front I reckon, Pardew won't drop Best after scoring 3 against WHU. Midfield is our problem, Jonas has been shit, Tiote missing, Routledge can't pass piss and looks like smith might get a game. Still reckon we'll take something, paranoia will get the better of them.
