Newcastle United - "Tedious soap opera"

No like I said. All of those mentioned are better options, and time will prove it I guess. -
Cheating cunts showing their true colour now. Scholes should have had red there

Players we could (realistically) sign?

You can probably loan and develop a few youngsters for us. Bannan, Albrighton, Delfouneso, Clark, are all probably good enough to help you fight in the top. -

David O'Leary would actually suit you. He would thrive under the SJP spotlight. -

You don't think you could buy out his contract? You don't think he would come? It's bloody Derby -

Well I disagree. I'd say all of those would be better for you, and the fact that you don't kinda proves the point a few people try to make. And surely Newcastle United could nick Clough. Or ? -
Yeah that makes me laugh. Not sure of the numbers, but I've heard it's easily into millions. They signed two 15 year olds for £ 5 Mill a few years ago. I have no idea where they are now, but considering that's just TWO out of how many fuckin kids Wenger grab, then you can fathom the amount of money being spent.

I honestly don't know. But I'm sure the club can cough up a list over available managers. Though I would think Coppell is available. And Gregory is a better option the Shearer. Clough is another good option. Edit: Glenn Hoddle isn't at a club is he? -

Who do you suggest/Who would come? I think most experienced British managers without a job would love to have a crack at the job. I think they would be in a win/win situation as you probably will fight for promotion once you sort your wages out. -
Arsenal spend absolutely massive amounts of money on youth. Way more then any youth setup I've heard of. Which is also why it's so ridiculous when they say Wenger is finding these players for fuck all.
-
I've stopped following the youth cause so many are hyped up yet end up doing fuck all. Like the Moore brothers for instance. I know we nicked a winger from Arsenal last week, and got a dwarf called Barry Bannan who is supposedly good. And Delfouneso who is a fairly decent prospect. I do fancy the youth setup financially though. We got £ 16 Mill for Ridgewell, Cahill, Moore and Davis alone.
-
Except that it isn't true. After Moyes arrived at Goodison he has a NET spend of £ 41 Mill according to soccerbase, and that's helped by the £ 20 Mill sale of Rooney.

Can't see much wrong with tha article. Don't think Shearer is the answer either. You need to give an experienced manager @ Hodgson or similar a few seasons and you will be turned around. Unfortunatly you are basically run by yourselves with a muppet as a chairman. It's not just about about cutting wages and rebuilding an overpaid shite squad, you need a leader and a motivator. You need someone who can take you through the championship trenches and I doubt anybody except Newcastle fans believe Shearer is the answer. -
Thing is, with you system, you'll never have a Shearer, or a Robert... similarly you're unlikely to have a Boumsong or a Luque. I'd say this system we are running are more likely to pick up a "Shearer" then yours, but hey ho. Or that's a Shearer pre-toon though. MON hasn't spent £ 15 Mill on a player yet.
-
We got a superb academy so that obviously helps yes, but I think we simply sign more sensible players then you. Picking up foreign players looking for one big pay day isn't our thing. Still we got some high earner as well. How they hell Xisco is on £ 50 K a week beats me. Is that true?
-
Have to say, your wages are insane. Makes you wonder how your club has been run.
-
Lets be honest. Any fans in the league would have acted the same, put up banners and enjoyed you being relegated. It's nothing personal, it's just that it's a semi-big club going down. Whether it had been you, Leeds, spurz, Everton, all the same. It obviously helps and adds a bit of fuel to the fire when you always do the big club talk, but never do the walk.

Like Vera Lynn said, We'll Meet Again.
-
Surely there must be disquiet amongst the fans? O'neil needs to man up and admit that hes wrong. Wrong about what? Must be some spurs thing thinking you know better then your manager. Think most people would like to see 4-5-1 away from home, but they also got complete faith in MON. Looking to improve our position for third year running, and I can't remember the last time that happend.
-
Don't know. I prefer 4-5-1 myself, not because we looked better then, but I simply feel a diamond offers much more then 4-4-2.
-
Both Young's are struggling atm. But I think Ashley will play. Friedel Cuellar Davies Knight Shorey Milner Petrov Barry Young Carew Gabby Probably. Or possibly a back four of Gardner/NRC Davies Cuellar Shorey
-
Not interested in fuckin you off by gloating, and you did get a good deal, but Milner IS a class act. One of the two most talented players in the Villa side methinks. He is more a right sided midfielder or central attacking player then an out and out winger, but he really is a very good player. Ideally I want to see him in an attacking central role with a new right sided midfielder ( Bentley perhaps), but MON insists on 4-4-2.

It will be a draw methinks. We are fuckin awful atm. and our defence is shaky as fuck. 2-2 I'd bet... whether that's good enough depends on Hull I guess
