  1. got a weird feeling in my stomach, i'm usually pleased with any point we pick up away from home, but with the run of fixtures we have we really need all three today. going to feel weird today watching man city with shay in goal, hopefully that's the only sadness i will feel today
  2. someone who can take free-kicks too
  3. will stop scoring against us...though we've played wigan twice anyway actually
  4. team for sunday? harper, edgar, taylor, coloccini, enrique, duff, geremi, butt, lovenkrands, carroll, ranger? can't wait for the derby
  5. http://www.itv.com/Sport/Football/News/Pre...e-39748656.html check this out, contains info on m'bia, gomis, neill & lovenkrands (none of which is new), but interestingly states the mystery loan signings will play in a behind closed doors match next tuesday
  6. Are these serious bids? Attempts at "appeasing" the masses bids i'd call them. as mentioned, £4m for m'bia isn't going to cut it.
  7. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4795175,00.html bear in mind, these are "serious" bids
  8. if we get through the hull game with no more injury issues, we should go all out for the three points againt blackburn. would love to turn big sam over 1st time round. we owe blackburn for the shitty results they keep getting at our place too!
  9. only player with genuine pace if n'zogbia were to leave. for all his flaws, martins has a decent scoring record considering how shit we've been since he joined.
  10. Out- Owen, Given & Barton In - chirst knows, as has been said, cheap wheeling and dealing. outlook - generally edge closer to relegation, spending majority of the season in the bottom three Kinnear - will be given a two/three year contract will finish - 17th/18th (we'll be shown live on sky on the last day needing to win away to a champs league team to stay up or something of that ilk)
  11. why we're even looking in this department is beyond me....i know we have our problems injury wise currently, but we are well stocked in the striking department in comparison to other areas. centre midfield is crying out for reinforcements, the prospect of geremi playing there again makes me want to cry
  12. rooney did take it, giggs then strolled over and crossed it in. should have counted!
  13. Because Beye is out for another 7 weeks and we don't really have a proper right back. Taylor can cover there for that time, he's less prone to mistakes out there. central midfield should be the priority as what cover do we have there?
  14. so we'd possibly pay £1 million more for a much worse right-back than we already have....would sound like a newcastle united thing to do. i know we could do with cover, but please, tony hibbert?
  15. As has been mentioned before, i won't begrudge him leaving if it was to arsenal....but tottenham or man city have been just as bad as us at times this season. i know the turmoil off the pitch would be a valid reason, but to bring up the liverpool game is a bit strange i feel, considering the players we were missing and playing the current league leaders.
  16. yeah, chelsea fans are terrible. though, the worst i've experienced 1st hand in the premiership have been fulham's. been to craven cottage the past two years and you hear fuck all from them.
  17. Signed an 18 month contract....hope we can put him to the sword come 1st Feb
  18. Yep, that was the beginning of that horrendous run.
  19. we may well have had more points this time last year...but it was around this time that we beat fulham 1-0 and then didnt win a game for 3 months. surely we won't go on as bad a run. so with less points, i'm more optimistic than i was a year ago if that can make any kind of sense. then again, we were playing the atrocious fat sam footballa year ago too
