Class goal like. That Owen injury looked similar to what my mate did a month ago at 5-a-side. Only difference was that my mates kneecap popped out aswell.

The on-demand music stations pretty much killed it. Why wait a week for a mimed performance when you can see a band in heavy roration on a variety of channels. Then the beeb shuffling it around the schedule was the final nail in the coffin.

There's a lass from Consett who used to be in Byker Grove. Seen her around in Summer and at Christmas. My mate tried to pull her on Boxing Day but got pretty much nowhere apart from sharing a taxi with her. Apparently she goes to Uni in Manchester. Once met Frank Bruno and a Tyne Tees telethon. Met Pav once in the Metro Centre and got Harpers autograph when he was a young un, they sent a team to play a pre-season friendly with a non league side. I think Keegan even played, but can't really remember.Used to get the same bus as Anthony Hutton when I went to New College at Durham. Was a prick then aswell. Edit: I also shook Gary Speeds hand and talked to Nobby in Chase once. That was years ago, probably around 2000-2001.

I just got a W810i (upgraded from the K750i) and it worked like a dream until Saturday when it just died. Gave 02 a bell this morning and they are sending the new one out by courier (already on the way) and the courier will take back my old one. But the new W810i is great. You can buy a 2 gig memory card on ebay for £30-£40 quid. They "officially" take memory cards up to the size of 4 gig but there are 8 gig memory cards kicking about too. Was going to get an MP3 player but won't bother now I have this phone.

Not sure if anyone else caught it but Roeder gave a short interview on 5 Live. There wasn't anything major discussed but there was a quick discussion on transfers. Basically: We are talking to players No one coming in this week Hopes for one or two by the time the Intertoto game Nopefull 5 or 6 in time for the start of the season.
