  1. I get my yank tv stuff from http://www.oneddl.com
  2. Was talking to a mate who follows it closer than me and reckons the brothers have been asking for 60% of the purse, the fight in Germany and a German ref.
  3. Been charged with violent conduct. He has til 6pm Friday to appeal or he can take the three match ban http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/Ne...2010/Barton1111
  4. I've got sweet fa as well. All my usual ones are manc-ed so a link would be appriciated.
  5. First time in a long time I've had no interest in getting it. Might get it when I get a new pc at christmas.
  6. Not trying to be clever, but there's a greatest hits. If you start with that and then find out what album the tracks you enjoy are from you might have luck picking the albums you enjoy. Personally I'd go with Foo Fighters (first one), The Colour & The Shape and There Is Nothing Left To Lose.
  7. I prefer their first three albums, but some people swear by the newer stuff. Just give them a search on you tube. Should be plenty of stuff on there.
  8. It's only 13 minutes long and sponsored by Fosters, but don't let that put you off.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_McDonald_House_Charities no RMHC in the UK? just searched it on the RMHC website, there are quite a few in the UK, how is it you've never heard of it before? Hand on heart I'd never heard of it. I had a look through the website and apparently they have one of their Family Rooms at St Oswalds.
  10. Ronald MacDonald House? Is the extension going to be called the Kentucky Fried Chicken Wing?
  11. I'd imagine your username and avatar will make you a hit with some people on here already, so you'll be fine.
  12. Shooting himself in the foot, gives him one less outlet to tap up players.
  13. Hour long Halloween special on BBC 2 at 10, if anyone is interested.
  14. It's canny, doesn't have the addictiveness of Fallout but still good. My Xbox doesn't like it though. Everytime I tried to play it the fan sounded like the end of the world was coming. So I stuck in some other games and it was fine. Installed it to the HD and after enduring the racket for that it played without the extra noise.
  15. It's a muddle of a few things. There's some fantasy, western and there are some sci-fi elements that do come to the front more towards the end. But it's completely character driven. If you like how King tells the stories of his main characters, how he puts the meat on the bones then give it a shot. By the time you're into the third book you've got a cast of characters that you really give a shit about. There are quite a few nods to other books and re-occuring characters from other stories that you might get a kick out of if you read Salems Lot, The Stand or Hearts in Atlantis. I've heard people say the first book takes some effort to get through, I thought it was fine and finished it in a day and a half. But it kicks up a gear with the second and third books.
  16. More into the stuff that links to the Dark Tower, Talisman and Dark House are both great. Both him and Straub keep promising a third Jack Sawyer book. Joe Hill, one of his sons, has done some decent stuff too. Horns is my favourite and a really good well rounded effort, Heart Shaped Box is decent too but kinda lags at the end after going at a break neck speed to start with some genuinely creepy moments.
  17. Snap. Was gonna wait a little while, but caved and ordered it today. Should be here tomorrow.
  18. Just finished my first run through and I don't think it's possible to complete every quest. When you get to Mr House no matter what you do you will fail some. Ditto when it comes to the ending I don't think it's totally possible to get a good one for every faction/village.
  19. Barely started with it, but I like the idea of selecting important events rather than trudging through childhood and schooldays to get to the music stuff.
