Newcastle United Legends - vs AC Milan Glorie
The Mighty Hog replied to Tom's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'm sure harper tweeted saying they were going to start going out after the Fulham match. So I'd imagine it all started yesterday. -
Pretty much. Luke Edwards nailed it on twitter too. They hail the clubs solvency when it fits their angle them but that doesn't suit their story today so we're skint again and can't compete.
-
He's back tracked a little and said keep the expectations low and you might end up surprised.
-
Luke Edwards on twitter saying there's more than likely bugger all happening tomorrow on the incoming transfer front.
-
Literally just walked in the door, anyone sum things up for me?
-
Back from his loan spell already.
-
Just popped up on my Twitter feed too. Sky North East are running with it and the Gomis thing.
-
Turns out the cunt was right, left out.
-
Not from the local journos I follow, they are just saying he didn't check out the pitch with the first group of players to go out there.
-
Santon injured for this one according to the morning rags. Haidara has had a niggling injury all pre-season and won't be fit either. Apparently Taylor sat out training, Jonas has a "slight strain" but both should be ok for Monday.

Not a radio show, but I'm hoping the Baker and Kelly thing on BT gets uploaded somewhere.

Materialism: The "What have you bought?" Thread
The Mighty Hog replied to Tooj's topic in General Chat
Where's everyone getting their knock off football shirts these days? After a couple for five a side. Tried that Soccer Scorpion, who are supposed to be a new name for soccer triads. After three weeks the fuckers seemingly hadn't even dispatched it. Couldn't get a email to them so raised a claim through Paypal and they just cancelled the order (no refund yet, just an email saying it was cancelled). -

Benteke withdraws his transfer request and signs a four year deal.

Back in for Gomis, apparently.
-
The general consensus from the local journo's this afternoon was that as soon as a CL club was in for him it was a non-starter. Also mentioned he was another player with agents all over the place.

HF is probably right, the journos say it hasn't been officially confirmed by the club but it's not Kinnear completely making it up. He probably jumped the gun by phoning Sky Sports, but it is happening. If it was total bullshit they'd have denied it by now. -

Supposed to be coming back as Director of Football according to Lee Ryder and Mark Douglas on Twitter. -
Out in November £429 ($499 and €499) I was never going to be a release day customer but fuck me that's pricey.
