The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
The Mighty Hog replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
You're thinking of Wycliffe Jean. -
Fuck, I thought this was just a birthday thread. He was always a good laugh way back on the older boards, he started to drift away from this place but would always pop back now and again. Seemed daft as a brush but harmless with it. Such a shame.

Remy Cabella - signs from Montpellier
The Mighty Hog replied to Monroe Transfer's topic in Newcastle Forum
How many times do you see it through the years though? Player X goes somewhere and you think he'd have been ideal for a Champions League or title winning club. I know our lot spout shite about agents fees. But all it takes is the right agent getting their own financial deal and being good enough to convince the player or his family to choose a particular club. -
No they didn't. He went on a free, he wanted first team football. I believe he knocked back a contract offer from us http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/danny-guthrie-relishing-return-newcastle-1351343

St Vincent's is canny. The War on Drugs do nowt for me, personally. Enjoyed Love Letters by Metronomy same for Nabuma Rubberband by Little Dragon. Royksopp's mini album with Robyn is fun and I really enjoyed Soak's Blud EP.
-
I have done now. Will report back if it doesn't work! Aye, that was the first one I tried. It was canny but I couldn't seem to find an option for login details on a subscription feed. That will be next on my list if Doggcatcher isn't working. Cheers for the help gents, much appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a decent podcast app for for android? One that can support subscriptions would be ideal. I'm trying doggcatcher at the minute but it's skipping some of the shows from a feed as well as randomly showing old ones from the other feeds. The latter is easily remedied but just a minor pain. A decent music player could be helpful too I got Poweramp ages ago when it was reduced. The plan is to grab a decent memory card and use my S5 as an all in one rather than carry it and my iPod.

The £50k a week was supposed to be what West Ham were offering him and we got him for less, if what the papers were saying was true.

It's right near the bottom, but if you can't be arsed to scroll here's the question and the reply:

I've won a Nintendo DSi XL, A 32gb Ipod (it was one of the classic's before the touch's came out), Marvel Alliance 2 for the 360 (I think that was sorted out by Ritchie on here), won tickets through the years, it used to be piss easy to win cd's on Metro Radio when I was a bairn so I won some stuff from them. Never won money or a holiday.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
The Mighty Hog replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
Just seen the Lego Movie with my nephew and sister, very silly but in an enjoyable way. Half the fun was trying to spot the different types of lego I had as a kid. I had the spaceman that was in the film, in white rather than blue and his helmet (fnar fnar) was broken in exactly the same way as the character. -
Those are quotes from an article Ryder did in 2011. He tweeted the link to it during a conversion with someone over his sudden change in tune after the press were banned. I clicked the link and thought it was a current article until I got to the bottom and saw the dates of the comments.

Which obscure member of a Britpop band are you?

West Ham 1 v FC Newcastle United 3 (FT)

Ay Vee Bee was fairly annoying too. -
Not sure about that, I had BBC Newcastle on while I was pottering about and he was taking pelters left, right and centre in the phone in. John Anderson could barely put up any defence for him which is unusual. It wasn't just about this performance, a lot of them gave the impression they'd given up all hope on him.

There's some new Metronomy kicking around: http://t.co/Olguu1OEft

I'm sure Ant does something with RSS feeds and uTorrent. I've never got round to doing it.

Fair enough, I'd recommend the John Oliver host ones from this summer. If only for his Carlos Danger dance.

Just blitzing American Horror Story, well the first series. Seems like every horror cliché (purposefully) crowbarred in to each episode. Not bad but not outstanding.

Not a fan of downloading? That and The Colbert Report are up everyday on Pirate Bay, not missed an episode in years.

Might be a blessing in disguise, that one.

Chvrches are my guilty pleasure at the minute.
