When it comes to Shola I'm firmly stuck on the fence. Decent squad player who was looking piss poor playing with a hip that was shot to shit (I don't think thats the medical term for it though). Even when he comes back he's going to need alot of first team football to shake off the rust and see if the operation has had any effect on his game. Playing bit parts here and there won't particularly do him much good.

Well the other toonraider, the t00nraider one. What was the crack with him? I only ask as I was looking through my MSN blocklist and I had a t00nraider@hotmail.com, can't remember a damn thing about him/her/it I also had keirondyerfanclub@hotmail.com, but I do vaguely remember him.

I thought there was a similar one the season beofre. I'm sure I played a match against Arsenal and we drew 4-4 at highbury. But when the match was processed and it went back to the day to day running it said I won 4-3, then when I checked the result on the fixtures page it said I'd won 4-3 aswell. So maybe I was wrong. There was a managers comment that said that a match was being held at the wrong ground, at the away teams place instead of St James.

I used to have some Enid Blyton books when I was a kid. Can't really remember them though. I liked Roald Dahl aswell. Fantastic Mr Fox was my favourite.

I loved the first three "Fudge" books and "Then Again Maybe I won't.." both by Judy Blume. There were another set of books I liked, they were by Paula Dazinger and the main character was called Matthew Martin. I used to like the Knightmare books, which were kinda geeky.

Anyone else spotting silly mistakes creeping in the longer you play it?

If you're really stuck I'd say stick with Jimbo's tactic (not that it's a bad one, just that people like to do their own). Look to get Tevez and/or Robinho in the January transfer window. Mascherano is a top rate DM. for defence look at Kompany and or Vanden borre. Given should be fine as a goalie. Santana is on a free at the end of the first season and is Stoica usually, they give you more options in your second season. It's up to you wheel and deal the players. You get around £2.5 million for carr, maybe a million for babayaro (no need for left and rightbacks). Maybe £2.5 again for Bowyer. Leaving you with Mascherano, butt and Faye as your DM's. Will Jenas as a player who can do the job there. You might want to get rid of bellers for £3 million. Shearer, Kluivert, Ameobi and Chopra will do jobs. Even Guy will get more goals than bellers. Most importantly to remember when going in for the big priced players is that you can offer around half upfront then stagger the rest of the payments over 2 years. Ideal for Robinho and Tevez who are around £10 million a time.

They could have at least handed it over to someone else. Shit loads of stuff has now been lost. Fairly gutted, to say the least.
