Have to say I don't mind Corrie. There is a bit of humour in there which gives it some life.

Monster Munch - The hot ones and the Pickled Onion ones. The Chicken and BBQ sauce Walkers ones are lush. Like the Sweet Chilli walkers sensations too. Who can forget Tudor Specials? Used to love them.

Yorkies are my current favourites. Aero Caramels All Aero's really! Infact all chocolate! Love acid drops and sherbert lemons. Like really sour things too. The only sweets that are sour enough for me are called Toxic Waste and really get your eyes watering.

BBC Newcastle seemed to think that the Luque deal was a no go and in the Souness interview it carried he said that "We have tried for strikers, we were after Anelka and Luque....." he seemed to think that it was dead in the water. I think the interview was yesterday so things may have changed since then.

First series was a bit hit and miss. This second season has been top class though. Shame Channel 4 decided to fuck aboutwith it. Going for double bills so if you missed one week you missed two episodes. Then changing the time. It burried the last episode at 12.40 after putting on Cruel Intentions 2 straight after Lost.

Generally in the pub I'm a Boddingtons man. Lager wise it's usually Stella. Bottles it's Corona. Not a big spirits fan but at a push it'd be Southern Comfort and lemonade. If I'm out in the big city (Consett) I usually partake in a couple of double vokda irn bru's in The Braes (only £1.99) and in The Soviet, Fosters is only 50p a bottle on Saturday nights.

Shouldn't be surprised really, we've seen some dross served up to us in the guise of England friendlies the past couple of seasons (some of the qualifiers have been stinkers too). But I'll keep watching them as they are an excuse to go to the pub.
