Im currently sitting thinking of what abuse to hurl in your direction. But no, Ill wait, c'mon its easy! Take into consideration my subject title....

Aye, this old thing thats been done a bazillion times, but I was looking at this particular line up. GK - Pav LB - Beresford CB - R. Elliot CB - Peacock RB - S. Elliot LM - Ginola CM - Clark CM - Beardsley RM - Pinas CF - Ferdinand CF - Asprilla Now, some of these didnt play together, and a couple Im scraping the barrel (Pinas didnt do much nor did Stuart Elliot). But, and its an easy friday question. What is common about this team?

His first touch for me. He can show good skill on the ball once he has it though. That said, you mention strength and aye he can sometimes be shrugged of it too easy. I still think he has a lazyness or droopyness about his style, but I think thas just him and will never change. I'd sometimes like to see him really get behind the ball when he shoots, I often feel many of his shots are scuffed and the power is taken out o fthem by not lifting off the ground.

Wonder who's mini bus they'll hire to go to the final? Hmm, can you still get the Sinclair thingy? canny seeing a donzen of them driving down the A19 to the final. Bastids.
-
Shush man, I thought they'd scored there.

Not long left ... stay on target ... Oooh, I went all star warsy there...

So, I decided to jump back into this as I havent played it since waaay back with CM03/04 - ish. Anyway, what would you say were essential files to d/l ? Ive got the 6.02 patch which I assume also updates the squads etc? Also Real Name Fix doing well, the obvious I assume. Just checking I should be bothering with these, or if there was owt else you think I should get. Ta very much.

Great ball through to Chopra which led up to Nobby's goal. Overall he had a canny game, worked hard while not being "explosive".

Page two and not one pic posted with the comment "this is why"

I also had Nobby and 2-0. Would have been my first win of the season. Still, Im happy with the one extra GD. That said, it could have been bramble as I always take a centre half as a scorer and I had him for last goal as well.

Liverpool are right as anyone would be, if or when people use the tragedy of Hillborough for mocking, to be angered and "have a whinge". However, same has to apply here and its nothing short of disgusting. I'm an old fart maybe Id rather leave somewhere with my pride, knowing Ive represented the area with passion and can leave win or loose with head heald high. Not like a sniggering fool who considers this sort of act either humerous or just.

You know most pundits yesterday were expecting West Brom to get something from this game.....
-
I doubt he'll make the bench. Shola starts, with one of Luque or Chops with the other on the bench.
-
Aye, tell you what though, I have some cracking memories from seeing him play. From the bust ups with Keane to some of the greatest goals, one of them being the win over Spurs in the FA Cup (Semi I think). Glad I've got the tickets for the testimonial, give him the send off he deserves.

You try parking when you only got one leg working. Then again, prob an automatic....

Aah. So, as Ive got a website for the company, I could just use that as a dump?

What the best way, if I have 6 or so people with laptops and two offices with desktops, to be able to get everyone to store various files on one shared pc? Or whats the cheapest as well I think Ive seen some net based things that will do backups for you as well as a remote server (as opposed to me buying a server and having people dial into that or whatever). Anyone any idea what my options are? Like I say, its mainly for saving centrally various files such as .pdf .xls .doc and so on.

Ive met a few off here, and a few Ive met have also mysteriously disappeared ....

Oooh, is this a look at the size of my Hard Drive? Oh ok, I got 1 x 10GB (for windows) - C - Free space 1.8GB 1 x 114GB (For my "stuff") - D - Free space 3.7GB 1 x 150GB (For installs) - E - Free Space 103GB 1 x 26GB (Overflow) - F - Free space 26GB C is a partition of E. D is a stand alone. F I cant remember what that is and I never use it, I can only assume its some bright idea I had and is another partition of E.

Apparantly there is a FA meeting on May 5th, but they will reveal te new manager before then. They have said they have been through their shortlist and need to deliberate before making the appointment. So hopefully, with that revealled next week, it should be full steam ahead on us getting sorted.

As much as Id like to see him fit before the end of the season, I think Owen would be happier going and having a good world cup and coming back next season to NUFC that I do if he missed the WC and had to come back. With no WC I think he may be more tempted to go look for a bigger stage to play on while the WC may supress that appitite for one season, giving us a chance to get back up with te forum we are showing now.

I aint gonna waffle on, but I am gonna stick my face through the fat ladies hole By that I mean to get pies chucked at my face, not be in some sick porn I actually agree with a few of the things LM states above. I know the directors skim the cream off the club, but at the same time it would be oh so easy for them to take more, or to hide more of the profits made and make less money available to players. We have a fantastic stadium, though Im sure with Freddies contacts he could get someone to knock down leazes terrace but thats another story. We spent what, £48M on players last summer, why? because as a club we always "try" to back the manager. As an appointment, rushed into appointment or not, I think they had to give GS a chance. Where I think FS has went wrong: Listening to his manager about the "worth" of a player and paying the asking price. boumsong £8M is the main one. Luque is slightly different, he was seen to be a top player. the Owen deal, we'd have lost if we were the same as Liverpool, we had to bid high to make it impossible for Liverpool to bid. The Owen deal will be worth it if he stays longterm and we win something, so too soon to say. Also, I kinda agree that there may not be a best time to get rid of manager. some times make sense, like why wait until the transfer window closes when they can make no real changes etc. This said, Roeder has shown that to be a good manager, you need to manage. Not just throw money at something. Our mistake with bobby was getting rid without having a plan following. I find that impossible to comprihend. That is a mistake by the board. There is the saying be careful what you wish for. With FS we have cash for the manager, and a strong club off the pitch. It could easily go one of two ways if the board changed. They could retain more profit, cream more themselves, ot simply blow money and waste it on numerous things that hold no worth to the clubs assetts (Leeds anyone?). We look to Liverpool, or I do with envy. They have spent less, came from a similar standing (when we were both hovering around 3-5th) and yet they have won all sorts since then. Why? Why them and not us? Down to the manager. We've had the money, we've even maybe had the players at some point. Yes the directors appoint the manager, but I'd hold my hands up and say at the time I thought KD was a good appointment, or that I was happy when RG was appointed. How wrong I was, utterly. GS I think was the only manager in recent times when I have thought "what on earth are the board playing at? who in their right mind would have made that appointment?". Ok, so I have waffled on but basically I think the club could be in a hell of a worse position than it is, and I also think we have previous managers to blame for alot more so than the board. Yes they (the board) take more than their fair share out, and yes I just wish FS would keep out of the limelight (for he makes me cringe when on tv). But, as I say, be careful what you wish for.

Throughout this whole who will it be thing, I've admittedly been against Glen getting the job in the hope that we would attract someone who can take this club where we all want it. As names have been disappearing off the "possible" list, I think Roeder has been becoming more and more of a good choice. We've had results that the squad should have been getting all year, though a few blips and rightful turn overs by teams such as Man U. We do need more players in and a few need to be shipped out and maybe just maybe Glen, though not glamourous, we be the man to do it. He may not be a O'Neil or a Scolari, but then does that matter if he can get us into 5th next year? Former club captain, worked with players at all levels and now a track record at the club to suggest he can. Its been suggested that he could come in with a DOF above him or something, maybe that is another idea and a way to go. Its quite right that we could send Glen back to the academy and end up with someone not necessarily crap, but who just cant make it work. Even Houllier. There is no guarantee's with anyone, and while we would expect Houllier to perhaps win us something, at least we now know what we are getting with GR.

Updated after Brum v Blackburn Good win for Brum edging things in our favour again. To keep 7th we need to watch West Ham and Bolton with the latter having a game in hand. Though, they (Bolton) also are struggling a little at the moment. With our toughest being our last, its crucial we pick up all three at home this weekend with arguably the easiest of our last three games, though still againts a side fighting to stay up.
