Sky sports just saying he is talking to three clubs as Liverpool have just entered the "race" to sign him

I think these have something to do with the things you sign up for. The link given registers that the originator (who ever started it) has given a referral and he gets whatever is in their promotion. So when you click the link and hopefully register and he gets freebees while you get a few dreams of hoping to get summit for nowt. Which dont happen .

Aye, you'd be fecked if he has his ipod on when he is scanning and the drum solo starts.

The other thing is if you let the lassy (or lad) dae it, for some reason they like to get rid of as many bags as they can. So its like, one bag for two bottles of milk, one for a few tins. Whereas I, try to push the bounderies of plakkabag strength.

So does he ask people if they want a hand? No pun intended like But I sometimes loose my rag when under pressure to keep up, and the cereal box wont go in the crappy bag the way I want it to. Imagine what it must be like for him!

Just a couple of things that are bouncing around my head today making me ask why? Why when you are driving and indicate into a gap, does the person behind put their foot flat down to try and close the gap? Why do supermarket checkout workers think that when we answer "No thank you" to the question "Do you want a hand with your packing", what we really mean is "scan the items as quick as you can so everything piles up and you can give me that look that says 'you should have taken the hand'.

You seem to have forgot to add up his goals

So, lets see who has the computer brains here. I'm trying to upload a folder through my ftp server. I can log into the server fine. I can delete stuff and browse away no problem. Trouble is, when I try to upload a folder, after a couple of seconds of uploading, it brings up the login box again, even though Im already logged in. As I am already logged in, it wont accept the p.word I put in. I assume its bringing the login box back up due to some IE setting? Anyone any idea? (apart from use Firefox, which I do at home but not here!).

I had a cat when I was about 6 called Kitty. (I know I know). But it had a duff ear and got put down. Though, I was told at the time it had ran away with its lass. Course, since then and several pets later, I know the facts to be that Cats are evil and basically self centred. Dogs on the other hand ROCK. Canineafactio.

Quite an interesting news piece, though I also am a little perplexed by the title of the thread.

Nah, I know it can be seen as that, but as he pointed out, it was said between those four walls and meant to be kept there. Also said during a moment of piss taking both at him, and at others. Was funny like.

Although he's right, he shouldn't really be saying that about our players. 159627 It was said very much tongue in cheek and made that pretty clear, along with a few other quips. Also, interestingly when he first took over and he was asked what was the difference in the first game (against Pompy) he said it was no good him going in and talking different tactics or about who had been doing right or wrong. He said the players neded a lift more than anything. They had sessions of "fun" training. Playing one touch football and "tag" etc. Said they had a good laugh and it really put them off on the right foot for the game. Also that the renewed atmosphere in the ground helped this and of course then we went on to which gave us momentum into the next game and so on. He picked a a couple of players. He stated that one o fthe best things in football is that its about opinions. While some of the audience were rumbling about certain poor players, he said who's to say who is right and who is wrong? He wouldnt be drawn into directly critisising individuals. He did say steve taylor had a massive future and commented about his crunching tackles and how he seems to get pleasure out of decking someone in a tackle Also about Milner, in that he is one of the fittest lasts at the club. On Boumsong he said he is far from a bottler, and has had ups and downs, but suggested his style of defending works on the continent but would need to adapt it to the prem. Expects him to play back over there at some point. On Luque, he said he has had the same treatment as everyone at the club. All players who were struggling or down had the same advice / help etc. He said alot is now up to the player. He doesnt seem to have pushed much to learn the language who is a hinderance, also he did have a very bad hamstring (perfect time to learn the language imo). But, like other players (Butt I assume being one) he has a chance to put it right and if he can turn it around he knows the fans will get behid him. Did make it pretty clear though. He that the clubs buying of late had been shocking. He said he investigates a players history on injuries, on how they fit in etc as much as he can. He wont sign a player on a recommendation without doing alot of homework. Also that the club is in such a position that they cannot risk signing a European player (or from anywhere else) for £10-£15M or whatever, for them to come over and not adapt to the game. Or to take some "big name" for them to come over and milk the club. As said before, he wants players who have shown they can do it already, in the Prem. Doesnt have to be a big priced player, so long as they show they want to win and can play. After listening to him, my opinon of him has risen. Seems a genuinly good, honest bloke. Also for all I have my critisisms of Oliver, was good to hear him slate Souness I thihnk he used the word "Fraud" in there a couple of times.

Fecking hell, that took me some getting like.. the joke, not the fart.

Well I just got back from it. Was canny, if you like squeezing 250 people into a room that holds 200. Very likeable bloke when you listen to him, naturally didnt give to much away as you'd expect. Intreresting that they mentioned not going on to tell loads of people, send texts (or internet) about stuff so that it appears in the papers and upsets things i nmotion like. Olivers still a twat like Oh and actually, Roeder was pretty funny, took this piss a fair bit.

On Talk Sport yesterday MQ was waffling about the reason we've been slow in buying in that because of last seasons spending, we're basically skint. Nothing we havent heard aleady I guess. Saying we were hoping to offload Butt, Boumsong etc so get some cash. However, my own opinion is that even if no more players leave (I though Faye would have been off by now), I cant imagine even FS would allow us to go into the new season with our strikeforce how it is. Ok, maybe we are looking for cut price deals, even maybe temporariily. Be interesting to see what they have to say at that talk in tomorrow night.
-
Damn shame that. Maybe did catch up in the end. Crazy Diamond indeed.

Nah, on its own I'd agree, but as mentioned before the money he generates would go along way to reduce the overhead produced by his wages.

I really dont know what to make of this. So FF was seen with Posh while Becks snuck out another way? Oh I see .... that because Posh and FF seen together is normal.... As for us needing another iconic figure. Bollocks. I dont care if we sign Mr Nowhere from Nowhere land so long as he can play football and ideally upfront (Thoug, I admit he may be a tad small and iirc has a tendancy to fall through holes). As for the actual player, I just dont see how we need him? As already said, what can he do that Nobby cannot? Ok, perhaps you could rotate them as we dont know what Nobby's plans are (one rumour had him going back home, another that this may have been his last season), but Beckham, really? Looked v poor in the WC though Im not sure how he would be at club level. Baffling this one.... Oh, and Link 157250 Lampard and Gerrard looked very poor at the world cup tbf, so that means nowt. The Beckham - Solano comparisons are very flattering towards Nobby btw. I love Nobby, but if you gave me a straight choice I think I'd have Beckham in the team ahead of him. I dunno about this one - as a player I'd have him at the club, my only concern is the financial impact of the signing. We'll see though - it might well be a load of bollocks. If it is, expect Roeder to quash the rumours later on today. 157254 Yeah I agree, kinda what I was getting at there. I do stand by my comment regarding nobby, though I admit it may be through my B&W geps. On the financial implication, I would imagine any associated costs could be offset by generated income. He's a shirt seller and we'd have all teen-toon-totty toting his typeface in our toon-tribal tops tbh Crazy Foo!

Apparantly he's turned down Blackburn saying he wants to stay in Italy.
