I ended up taking him from Preston up to the services after the A66 junction. Turned out he was a bit slow and had been looked after by his mother who had just died. He was with the salvation army but they had to send him on his way. He had just done some course on waiting and was trying to get work. But could as he didnt have a permanent home. He found a place, but couldnt get it without a deposit which he needed the job for. I ended up buying him a meal at the services. Wouldnt suprise me if he seen me coming like and he does that all day

I use that screen select thing as well, its pretty good though Im running out of things I want to add to their list of what they can send me. Im on the 9.99 1 DVD at a time package and it usually works out that I get 4 per month which is cheaper than me using Box Office on Sky all the time. I watched Hostage (Bruce Willis) over the weekend which was canny in a typical Bruce Willis kinda way. Also watched one which name escapes me (damn my memory of a goldfish) with Tom Cruise where he hijacks the taxi driver for the night. Again it was canny. I went to see Superman and seem to have been one of few people that wern't that impressed. Nothing as good as the recent Batman release which is the same genre.

Only time Ive been "lifted" was when I was 12-13 and walked out of WHSmiths with a magazine and a coat full of pens. Got took in a car to pilgrim st and locked up until my Da came to get me. I was more scared of what he would say that owt else. Police gave me a warning and my Da was pretty much ok. Said Id learned my lesson. He was right like as never done owt like that again. (pens first, Banks next tbh)... This said, I was up at durham magistrates a couple of years ago for going over 12 points on my driving licence all for speeding. Didnt get banned but got extra points and a £600 fine. I'll not go into the whole speed limit thing vs bad driving thing now though...
