  1. Rhodes is a lush place like. Though not being a piss head any more means I enjoy the likes of the old town / harbour area.
  2. Well, Im another thats well trained, If Ive been for a slash I put the seat down afterwards. I lift it up because not that my aim is shite, but I think nipping my skin once to often in my zip as a kid have given me this occassional "off shoot" You divvint wanna be standing next to me at the match in the bogs like after a few pints. In all seriousness though, if Im hung over and feeling rough, I sit doon to have a piss as well. Leaving the seat up is just rank On another note, where is the show smiley button gone? To add smileys in quck reply?
  3. This weekend I watched: Derailed - An ok thriller with Jennifer Anniston 40 year old virgin - Funny in points but not that great Last week I also watched Silent Hill - Pretty loyal to the game, canny film - easy to watch Bad Girls - American School flick - usual tripe unless you watch it for the eye candy

Whats with the big slab of cheese on Westwoods shoulder?
  6. Or is your today not your last night to later when at work you'll refer to yesterday as two nights ago? <head explodes>
  7. I pretty much agree here. Im happy with the midfield as it stands. SometimesI wonder if Parker it trying to do too much leaving the centre weak when we loose the ball though. We have Dyer coming back and if he stayed fit would offer pentration and link up to the forwards which I do think we are missing somewhat. The second half today I thought going forward we were pretty decent. Ameobi is sid to be having his op in te winter so we must get a new target man in (who could them play with Owen / Martins). I think Martins may have potential but its clear he is going to have to adapt. He is pushed off the ball a little easy and goes down a little easy - maybe thats whats he is used to - but that can change. He does need to be more mobile though when looking for the ball, he eeds to be running into space and anticipating the ball. He is a little too static at times. Then his finishing needs working on. Against Everton he had the chances, but I think most of them were pulled wide. Its at the back though where I have most concern. We have no decent back up for Carr (some would argue he should be the backup), our LBs are appauling (Ramage is just not a LB and offers little going forward when he is there, barely linking up with the LM), Bernard still being short of match fitness must have been in some state when he came and Babayaro can have a good game, but overall I think he is lazy and defending is poor. Moore is canny in the centre and Taylor can be but like many, I think Bramble is pushing his luck. He's been here for a while now and still suffers from the same idiocy. He was a liability again yesterday and when both teams went down to 9 men and he went off I thought it might have left us in a stronger position.
  8. He should look at Johnson. He was pulling us ragged today as Martins should have been them. As said, off te ball movement. Of course Martins needs time, but it is a bit worrying. Still, he got te chances, just needs at least to start getting them on target. I do think we will miss Shola when he is out though. We need a target man who is natural up front. Not sure how they club are only realising that now like....

Dunno, I fancied a change from the cow and at the time we were talking about what we watched as kids when we got home from school.
  11. Zog is certainly our most exciting. One of the few subs we make that makes me think will make a difference. As for best at this moment, Id prob go along with Parker, then Duff then Emre.
  12. I aint got kids, so Im not sure how Id react. Im not against smacking (light smack, not thrashing ). As a kid, I used to get the odd smack, just enough to let me know Id gone over that line. Worst I got was probably at school. In first school I was smacked on the hand with a ruler for having untody hand writing. Yes and she hit the hand I wrote with ... In High school a particular teacher used to get you up in front of class and embarrass you as well as hitting you with a ruler, usually on the hand, while the rest of the class pissed themselves.
  13. So this is gonan be a alonso wankfest for the rest of te game eh....
  14. that link on pm would be handy ta
  15. I would say so aye. We usually struggle down there to begin with. It would be oh so typical of them to find their feet again when we visit. By all accounts they've been playing well just not bagging the goals. With our changable defence and shay being out, its probably the lift they need.
  16. Well I like both, more do eat alot more white meat than red. While I understand alot of veggies dont eat meat on moral grounds (such as wor lass), I still find the concept of "southern fried quorn nuggets" amusing. Mind, while there are some awful veggie concepts (sorry, Ive tried quorn and a couple of things arnt ok - most are just really not), there are some cracking dishes as well. Spicey bean burgers and veg risotto are canny like. As for eating fish, well, Jesus said is was ok didnt he? surely a bloke in sandals (oh and the son of God) cant be wrong Mind, Im sure he drew the line at welks (willicks? I dunno, them horrid bogie like things) as well like.
  17. Wor lass was Veggie-ish (no honest!) until she watched some prog recently where they slaughtered a pig, now she is all veggie (all veggie? aye brussles for eyes an that). Its a nightmare. Cooking a stirfry we now have to do my meat in a different pan etc and I wont eat her lumps of whatever its meant to be (Quorn?). On that, why do they make Quorn things to look like meat and taste like meat? Does that not go against part of the idea?

  19. Ohh I dunno, Thick fuck is one that springs to mind, or quite simply "twat" as in "what a twat". This said, I do have a tendancy to call people a "freak".

  21. I reckon it probably does pay. But 99% of the thicko's that are involved are making the money for someone else while they slum it on some dodgy council estate. Unless they are really clever, it will probably catch up with them in time. Then i guess you have to ask, it a stint inside worth it?
  22. I was on the receiving end a bit, but only verbal. Again I had the problem of being a bit quiet. Never took a kicking though. Only think I had 2-3 fights in my whole schooling. Two I came off better, the other I kinda went "aya aya aya ok stop" and that was it
