I listened to a podcast that was recorded prior to the game after it last night, they talked about the mackem players and none of ours, said we were on an awful run and the mackems would relish playing us. Then when it came time for prediction one said the mackems would win, another said maybe Newcastle have enough, and the third said it would go to a replay . Sorry like but it’s just nonsense, it’s a side that’s played in the CL this season against an upper mid table championship one. He’s one of the worst CBs I’ve seen in a long time. He genuinely could have had 3 red cards - the Isak one was a straight red, I’m pretty sure he actually should have got a red for the pen as it was a goal scoring chance and no attempt to play the ball, and also numerous potential bookings (including the one where Gordon got booked while he didn’t even though his reaction was way above what Gordon did). Saying all that, given the way they talk about Hume, Clarke, and O’Nein then seeing how they actually play I can see how they would think Ballard played well - they clearly don’t know what a good player looks like

Fucking brilliant.

Most dominant derby performance in my life tbh, even the 5-1 and 4-1 were more balanced. The mackems are absolutely pathetic and couldn’t get near us. Excellent performance from our lot and we didn’t have to leave second gear. Special mention for Pawson as that was one of the worst refereeing displays I’ve ever seen, thankfully it didn’t impact anything. Ballard should have walked for blatantly fouling Isak, he also should have had a yellow for running over and going at Gordon so that would have been another red for his pen, Hume who pushed Ballard close for worst player on the pitch also should have been sent off - I don’t get how you book Gordon but not Hume as the bloke is literally holding a strip of Gordon’s shirt he ripped off .

Howay lads, hopefully we see our high pressing performances we get at home. If our lot play to potential and run through walls we will hammer these paedo sympathizing weirdos.

This is the best fucking bit it’s not even something we asked for their ownership just went and did it. Rolling out the black and white carpet for the big lads. Their owners banning their tragic flag display, giving us that bar, and then decorating it for us complete with piss taking of their own club fucking tremendous. They’ve also apparently fucked up the ticketing and have printed “league one” instead of FA Cup on them so they’ll get fined as well . I hope we absolutely smack them 5-0 to put the nail in their entirely self made coffin.
