  1. He literally hasn’t. You only send it to the referee if there is a clear and obvious error made, what was the clear and obvious error made on the play? There was no foul on Guita, Willock was pushed into him the VAR ref rightly reviewed the play and should have saw that the push caused the impact to the keeper and not advised the referee to review his decision. Instead he wrongly advised the referee to review his decision with the sideline monitor - going to the sideline monitor is not VAR review that is the VAR official saying the referee is incorrect. Last post on this for me because you’re not going to own up to being wrong despite everyone telling you with people even citing the FA guidelines.
  2. Mason hasn’t done what he’s meant to do. He only should advise the ref to take another look if there was a clear and obvious error. The initial VAR review is perfectly fine, people are taking issue with the fact he told the on field ref to review his initial decision
  3. That’s not what anyone is arguing though is it? The initial decision was correct, it was reviewed by VAR which is fine but then the VAR official wrongly decided the on pitch decision was wrong and advised the ref to take another look - that’s the bit people are complaining about the VAR official shouldn’t have interjected there and advised another look he should have accepted the initial decision. Of course the on field ref makes a decision but at the same time I’ve never seen a ref go to the monitor and not overturn his initia decision.
  4. The review is correct and fine, but when he sends it to the ref to watch on the sideline he’s implying the referees decision is probably incorrect so is advising the ref to take another look. I really can’t remember many times (if any) where the ref watched the sideline monitor and didn’t change his decision.
  5. Longstaff must take heavy sleeping pills before stepping onto the pitch, never seen a bloke be caught so flat footed every time the ball goes his way.
  6. That’s actually a fucking disgrace, so our player is shoved into the keeper and they get a benefit from it? The officiating is a fucking disgrace.
  7. I know he works hard but Almiron has fuck all ability on the ball, we really should have replaced him this summer. Pretty much any time the ball goes his way the move is killed. Trippier has been brilliant so far imo, Targett had a shaky start but grew into the half, and I really like the pairing of Schar and Botman.
  8. “That ruddy Sam Fender agaaaayun marra”
  9. Aye, this game alone showed it. Whinging his fucking tits off as our players went down after elbows to the face by his lot, then the second his team scored a bullshit winner he was gnashing his teeth and giving it the big one. Absolute fucking helmet the bloke.
  10. Isak is fucking absurd like. The finish for his goal was brilliant, and that one that was narrowly offside was fucking amazing.
  11. Why is celebrating a very well deserved draw, with an impressive performance, against the best side in world football (imo) “mass hysteria”? That’s ignoring the insane comparison already pointed out. They’re also fucking weird about ex players needing to be managers for them.
  12. ugh, I was hoping they meant just today. Get a CM in and play J7, Anderson and the new CM until he’s back.
  13. Shame about Bruno, I know he was limping a bit during the Tranmere game always a risk when we have to bring him on against a team of throbbers whose entire game plan was to hurt our players. Targett deserved to miss out imo, he was very poor against Tranmere and Burn has been decent there imo. My only real complaint with the selections today is I’d rather see Anderson start over either Willock or Longstaff. I expect we will have a lot of energy in this one to try and make up for lack of quality, Wolves aren’t prolific and we are solid so hopefully we can get a goal which would likely win the game.
