Our teams physicality, size and speed is too much for teams like that so it’s always a real up hill battle for sides like that against us.

Dominant like we’ve been in quite a lot of games but having Bruno and Wilson gives us better scoring chances, and someone capable of finishing them. All three defenders subbed on want to give their heads a wobble for contributing to the Fulham goal, keep back 4 the same next week if they’re the alternatives. I think keeping Bruno in that 8 role is key, if Joelinton is back I’d drop Willock who offers basically nothing now and keeping Longstaff in would be my preferred switch - I don’t rate Longstaff but he can play the 6 role which frees Bruno up. Really pleased to finally put a side to the sword after weeks of frustrating close chances / shite refereeing. Hopefully ASM is back next match and we can have ASM - Wilson - Almiron up front with a sub appearance from Isak.

I’d almost rather we play Longstaff than Willock tbh, as it would mean Bruno can play where Willock is.

Almiron is such a poor player, his pressing and everything off the ball is good but if he has to do anything at all with the ball the move is dead. Willock is similar imo. We are playing Bruno too deep really, he can’t impact the game and all we are getting out of him playing deep is Willock giving the ball away.

Aye I think that’s what makes it even weirder, naturally the focus would be on the PL club. I know that Serie A has been the preferred league in Saudi Arabia which is likely where the rumour comes from, but since this is all connected with Vision 2030 and Saudi image on the world stage the PL club would be the focus.
