  1. Finally getting back to what he was all those years ago at Man City
  2. He does drop the odd clanger with regards to tactics and subs but he's only really starting out as a manager to be fair and he is doing well (especially when you consider the low level of backing he gets). We should just stick with him and see where he can take us tbh and like has been said he has created a real team spirit that we've not seen in a long long time and it definately shows, like watching Man city the other day and seeing adebayor and Kompany kicking off with each other I was reminded of when we were like that. To be fair to us even though we've all had a go at chris in the past it's all the medias doing all this supposed pressure that's on him (coupled with ashley's low amount of communication)
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA words cannot describe this one, I'm absolutely over the moon! I'd have loved it to just stay 5-0 but that's just being greedy, now can we have an end to all this media created speculation about Hughtons future? because the 'pressure' hasn't been coming from fans. Also Cattermole was looking to be sent off Bruce knew it too that's why he took him off so sharpish after the 5th flew in.
  4. Aye I flew Dayton Ohio to Newark international just last month and I had to do all that including a shoe scan, I'm not sure why they keeps saying these checks don't take place on internal US flights. Personally got no problem with it tbh it's not hard to do gets a bit annoying if you have to go through 3 checks where you take your shoes off (like i did in manchester once while going to newark) give me something to fill the time in between check in and the flight i guess edit: agree with ant btw i've never set off a scanner in an airport it's not rocket science I've seen people going through it 3 times before realizing the massive metal necklace round their necks...
  5. There should be though, Shearer has to be in any premier league dream team, I'd also have Ashley Cole in over Evra tbh
  6. So he pretty much expects adoration if he's good but us to just sit in silence when he's shite That whole bit about the players walking into a fans office and saying he's shit is a load of shite I'd compare a shit performance to a brickie laying a wonky wall someone would sharp tell him he's a wanker and that it was shit and that brickie wont have a ferrari to go cry in neither! I get his point but let's be honest you need thicker skin than what this bloke has to be a professional player these days and the death threats are a very small minority of muppets tbh it's not like you walk into stadiums and hear 40,000 threatening a players life, also he's totally delusional if he thinks the answer to bridging the gaping divide between players and fans is using fucking twitter!!! I'm sure Rooney talking about his 10k holiday to dubai would bring him closer to someone is moss side who can't get work.
  7. It's a disgrace tbh, and this "part of the game" phrase is a total joke I'm sorry but personally I'd rather see players like Ben Arfa and Aaron Ramsey actually play football rather than watch mid shin tackles on their standing leg render them out for months while dickheads like De jong and Shawcross can carry on 'playing' football. Reckless tackles have never and should never be a part of the game the FA needs to put an end to it.
  8. I like Adam Johnson quality player, me dads been working with his cousin and from what he says my dad reckons he's a pretty down to earth guy. He said when he first went to city he didnt have tonnes of money and was expecting them to maybe put him up in a decent hotel but they put him up in some big mansion with a flash sports car reckons Adam loves the money but isn't too keen about warming the bench, also was interesting to hear that City has a lot of cliques like all the french are a little clique and things like that not really any unity and Mancini isn't too arsed about it. I guess it's similar at alot of teams but sounds especially bad there.
  9. Aye I'd agree Pulis' teams are by far dirtier, hate both the cunts tbh. Although I think Huth is a nasty piece of work hated him since he stamped on Shearer's knackers when we played Chelsea a few year ago.
  10. Seems to be the style of football most English managers love i.e Allardyce etc they'd rather the ball be head height and above for the entire game incredibly dull viewing, the 1st half showed they can't play in a game where the ball is on the deck I felt embarrassed for them when it looked like they were rashly sliding in and missing the ball completely against players like Nolan, the fault lies with us for letting them come out and spend the 2nd half punting it into our final 3rd. I cannot stand this style of football and it's killing the game especially when young English lads are having any skill drilled out of them so they can be turned into cloggers. Also did Huth get carded for his rugby tackle on Carroll? I cant remember a card being shown the ref definitely seemed reluctant to book any of their players.
  11. Gutted, we looked strong calm and composed in the first half Stoke could do nothing but be their dirty selves by fouling us constantly round the box then we come out and let them play their game 2nd half add that too the clueless substitutions and the fact Perch was playing and that's why we capitulated.
  12. looks like gok wan with a wig on, shite article by someone who seems like he was picked on by the footy players at his school. aye shearer isnt a good pundit but hes a belta bloke and sometimes the top players don't know the young up and comers from other countries, I know Ben Arfa is quite well known but it seems Shearer is only really interested in the Prem which is fair play tbh. Also having a go at Shearer for grammatical errors which are obviously our dialect is a load of shit, fucking cock knocker.
  13. Aye, it's almost as bad as having Barton 7 on one
  14. toon top with a black cat on
  15. totally fucking disgusting, I'd already long accepted the fact Hughton was going to be manager and the ugly cockney was not selling but fucking with the history of the club is even below this wretch, surely? Any company would be mental to buy the rights to rename the stadium as well, like Tom has said renaming a stadium after its been called the same thing since 1892 would be commercial suicide. I'm happy his companies fortunes are crashing, I would actually have a smile on my face if one day I was to hear the news of this odious mans suicide after he filed for bankruptcy he pretty much has no soul as far as I'm concerned seems to me he's only about money just a shell of a human being he's laughable and pathetic and I'd pity him if it wasn't for the fact I hate him so much because of what he is doing to my beloved team a team I've supported since birth and planned to support till death but I'm no longer sure it will be my team if this greasy lardarsed cunt carries on with his kamikaze mission.
  16. Just found out about this as I'm in America, absolutely devastated and feeling numb really has upset me and I'll be in a sad mood all day tommorow R.I.P a true legend
  17. Don't make games like they used to
  18. The prestige - Loved it, good cast and plenty of well thought out twists.
  19. canny mental didn't expect that at 50! R.I.P
  20. Agree with Snakehips it's getting mental now man it's nowhere near as bad as it's being made out aye it's not good but so what? saying it deserves a place in the 'worst 10 football kits of all time.' is laughable we alone have had a lot of waaay worse kits than this one never mind some of the shockers other teams have had, Man utds rumored kit and Evertons home kit are worse imo. The press this shirt is getting is completely sad really the obsessives have all got what they wanted we're relegated and now they're wondering whether it is really what they wanted so they're jumping on any old thing they can like this slightly shitty away shirt.
  21. If that's all true I must say it doesn't surprise me, the last bit is sickening btw not only will they play to such a low standard they get relegated they then think it's fair to demand the club make up the difference when they move on as if we fucking owe them something.
  22. Not even a slight chance of this happening tbh I could however see him going to Everton or something if they don't hurry the fuck up and just appoint Shearer
  23. Just watched the James May programme and definitely agree with Wacky, getting the chance to go up in that plane once is unbelievable to think though the pilot that flew it gets to do that all the time.
  24. meh I don't really mind it tbh just a really lazy attempt by the designers recolouring our home kit, not quite sure how we've made the national papers with it but never mind. It definitely does look better with darker shorts probably only because it looks more like our old Yellow kit with them (2004 kit? can't remember Kluivert played in it though). Does it have the same shitty back panel as the homekit btw? seeing as it's the exact same shirt near enough.
