Shackbleep's point about the FA sanctioning the 25 players then fining them for using 11 of them is class btw. Also the 11 picked were professional football players of Blackpool F.C surely they can use them when they want too.

I agree, a lad I went to school with played in the same team as Carroll going through the youth ranks and into the reserves and in that age range everyone thought Lua Lua was going to be the one to really make it big and that Carroll probably wouldn't make it, then of course over the last few seasons he's really improved dramatically and took the chances he's been given. It'd be a shame to lose a player as talented as what Ranger looks to the simple fact he's a bit of a heed the baal, he'd not be the first talented lad to have a short career. Agree with Geeforce about Shola in all, I'm nee fan but he can find the net and when he wants to play he can really play (even though that's canny rare) whereas Ranger seems to shit himself in front of goal every time after doing all the hard work to get there. I know giving him more games may boost his composure but the problem, like GF pointed out, is that he struggles against fresh defenders and is only really good as an impact sub at the moment.

Aye that comment is awful in general, Carroll is deceptively quick and anyone that still says he's gash needs to watch more football he's genuinely a real talent. Been in a lot of drunken scrapes over the years, I hate fighting and like others have mentioned it takes 1 second for something to go seriously wrong because of it (i.e falling over and head bouncing off kerb/pavement). Last fight I had I got very lucky, got a bit too drunk and cant remember exactly how it started probably me acting a drunk mug tbh, I just remember one lad had me in a headlock while his two mates stood smacking the back of my head I pushed myself free and the lad smashed a pint glass across my cheek left me with a scar under my right eye. Learnt a lesson that night and I'm careful about the amount I drink now.
