  1. Or just turn up on time on the day, they'll have enough of them. Well yeah a normal person would do that but even if you weren't normal and wanted to be the first to get one you really don't have to turn up 3 days before every year in all, unless they're actually homeless and this gives them an excuse to put their tent in a more sheltered place.

  3. PMSL 22 and 24!!!! What a pair of sad fucka's be class if they overslept on the day and half of Sunderland beat them to it.
  4. If you count European cups I think you will find Liverpool are. That's literally the only thing you have over them now though and when that inevitably passes you'll have nothing to gloat about. Which is basically why you're here. They're traditionally your main rivals and they've been pissing themselves laughing at you for nigh on 20 years now. More league titles than you have and possibly on their way to being only one European Cup behind you. You must be gutted.
  5. Hernandez edges it for me in all just in front of Tiote.
  6. That Ronaldo lad is areet too, he'll score 25-30 a season not reckon we should just get him instead?
  7. Sounds like he knows he's been caught spouting shit so he's making stuff up to give his gash points more weight tbh. Even if it's true and some mystery NI player who played for KK is slating him he's in the extremely small minority of players who have bad words about the man.
  8. It's all golden clearly a lad with serious deficiencies, Keegan a shit manager? how can anyone say that? This bit I've quoted is class though He's not as good as Johann Cruyff so he must be shit. edit: I've no problem with lads having an interest in the sport etc but if you've clearly no grasp of the era of football you're talking about just stick to recent years etc, clearly never saw Howey, Elliot, Watson etc play on tv let alone in person. prime candidate for your 'pipe down' response here mate ye naa what the funniest thing is HE tweeted this to me (ignoring my point about KK being a better NEWCASTLE manager) @Leazeslad If you think Keegan was a better manager than Bobby Robson then i'll trust you're new to the game about 6 hours ago via web in reply to Leazeslad You'd have more chance beating a brick waall in an argument here mate one of them where they're so clueless they still reckon they're in the right despite not understanding points and naming players of other teams as examples of how Keegan bought everyone.
  9. This guy honestly makes a good living off talking about football ?!?! :) Honestly it's beyond belief, I can accept it when a bloke like Collymore gets a job talking about footy because he was an ex-player despite the fact he's a heed the baal but blokes that have never played the game and know nowt it's incredible how they get where they are, Adrian Chiles is in that category for me the mug.

  16. This myth about Arsenal not spending much needs to stop like.
  17. Aye I like that Dempsey, had a good season for Fulham been canny for a while really.
  18. Probably lives in Newcastle
  19. For what it's worth I've enjoyed this season more than last as I don't like the Championship and hated the club being there, I was just meaning if I was a fan of a club that was as dominant over the Prem as we were over the Championship I'd be ecstatic. In all honesty mate I think Manchester United fans would be happier as the Champions League is the pinnacle of European club football whereas the League cup is a minor trophy (I'd be over the moon if we wont it btw) and as Stoke have proven smaller clubs have just as much chance at the FA cup as they do with the League cup and the FA cup is a more meaningful trophy. All just my opinion rightly or wrongly. Anyway I'm off to enjoy the weather, have a belta day whatever you lot do and Happy Easter.
  20. I'm sick of his shit now too, constant stream of conspiracy theories anytime a decision doesn't go their way especially when considering how weak all 3 of their penalty shouts were and they got given a goal which could have quite easily not been given due to it being nigh on impossible to tell in real time if it was fully over the line of not. This. He's becoming a bitter blame-shifter when things are going his way. I must be getting soft because I felt happy for Torres when he scored. Watch him shift a few past us now like. me in all was thinking "that'll shut them up" about all the Liverpool fans who after claiming he was world class for years will go to great lengths to tell you how utterly shit he is.
  21. I'd say they were canny happy with winning the FA cup, same as Manchester United fans were gutted when they were knocked out of it this year. The majority of people like a good moan, if their team wins 4-0 but one player has a shocker a lot of fans will go on about how bad that player was but it doesn't make them any less happy about winning 4-0. I think it's harsh on Chelsea fans to say they didn't care about winning the FA cup, it's just in this era of football the Champions league is the bigger prize so if they felt cheated it was nailed on to be a big talking point. Fair enough that you disagree on that point but the one thing I liked about being in the Championship was winning most weeks and going into every game as strong favorites, Manchester United fans get that feeling in the Premiership so I just cannot see how fans of a perennial mid table team like Fulham can be happier than fans of one of the most successful clubs in World football.
  22. Piers Morgan vs Michael Owen on twitter couldn't hope for two bigger cunts to start arguing.
  23. Thank you for that well-thought out response. I can only speak from my own experience, and my experience tells me that happiness cannot be bought. Whether we equate happiness with success is one thing. But certainly I don't see happiness being bought in football. I don't think Chelsea fans are happier now than they were before Abramovicz (they were at the beginning, but I think that happiness has worn off). And I certainly don't think league Champions Man U were anywhere near as happy as Fulham fans in 2008-09. And Fulham did in fact spend much more money. Yes, Man City will be happy when/if they win the league. But only the first couple of times. After that, the same thing will happen as has happend with Chelsea fans, and only the Champions League will have the power to generate true deliria. So I ask you, Barton7, don't you agree that money can't buy happiness in football? I'm not asking about success now, I'm asking about long-term happiness? I believe it can, as like I said Manchester United fans that I've met are extremely happy every time they win the title, agreed probably not as happy as I would be if Newcastle won a title but that's simply because you become more accustomed to winning and even though you take it for granted (like many of us did under Robson etc) you're still very happy. You may be right that Fulham fans were happier that season (I don't personally know any Fulham fans) but that was one blip and Man Utd fans will be more consistently happy over the long term. Comparing Chelsea and us is the best indicator I guess. When Abramovic took over we'd had a few seasons of being around the same level, they invested heavily and went on to challenge for silverware whereas we had a string of poor managerial appointments and then were bought by Ashley, I think it's fair to say that Chelsea fans have been a lot happier than our fans over this period. They may often take their position for granted but they wouldn't want to swap places with us.
