Always thought Steve Bruce was too tragic to hate in all, he looks very unfortunate for a start.
-
Harry Kewell always had a hint of that about him too, don't know why.

Stood telling us this in his old Reg Vardy number, I like to imagine he was in sweatpants and his Reg Vardy while running round Seaham off his lips. Agree the state of a stray dog in Seaham is also a very interesting image to imagine.

Class, when I was younger I once had the (mis)pleasure of doing a few jobs down there while working for a construction company. Basically fixing up their council flats, again similar to the above we had to watch the van at all times while they stood there smoking while watching everything we did while the husband would tell us how he would have done it if he hadn't put his back out. Anyway one of the blokes houses we were working on started talking about how he took loads of acid when he was younger (no idea how he got onto that subject to this day), the highlight being when he was telling us about how he took acid and wondered down to Seaham beach one day and got chased off a big green monster with 3 eyes, the monster caught up with him and knocked him down and started savaging his leg, turns out the daft bastard was being ravaged by a stray dog. Absolute hell hole of a place mind similar to the picture Lovethebobby painted really couldn't get out of there quick enough after we were done for the day, felt sorry for some of the people there like. Other uncomfortable experiences of this time was a staffy dog hitting me in the nuts as I walked through one of the doors the woman had 5 staffys in total, she give them to all the families in the estate there was even a stray one walking the streets that nicked one of my sandwiches after I dropped it (not that I minded too much mind probably the poor things only meal for a while). Houses either side of hers were about to be demolished, heard people breaking in them stealing copper wire and the tiles off the roof, now don't get me wrong I've worked on estates similar in Newcastle and Gateshead but there's just something more unpleasant about Sunderland, definitely more needles littered about for a start.

Wum and Mug. Cattermole ffs behave.

Not kneejerking mate, just it's a worry that his is a consistent problem for us against pacy sides. He's doing a fantastic job just needs to figure out how to stop pacy sides or it's going to keep happening. Look forward to playing Wolves really think we can give them a battering (hopefully they hold onto Mick at least until after we play them.).
-
Pards has to stop the high line against quick sides now, it works against slow sides but he surely understands now that it will get us killed against sides like Spurs, West Brom, Chelsea etc. I'm just glad we've got Wolves next and they shipped 5 goals too so hopefully it'll be a nice confidence booster before we host the tramps.

I heard they asked him what he thought of Yakubu "isn't he like 50?"
-
Perch at right mid? No thanks I'd much rather 'risk' Ben Arfa than that.
-
Used to think it was class, it did start getting really ridiculous later on when they starting conspiring against each other and murdering people .
-
Agreed, we need a winger and he's a decent one he's not been to the same standard this year as he has been in the past but Wolves have been terrible as a whole this year.

It's like the Nagger guy episode of South Park, in that link about all the news articles ripping into Dalglish there are Liverpool fans demanding others reply with their names and address so they can take court action against them for making out that Liverpool fan is racist. I really hope no one falls for Suarez's apology to his bosses and the media keep up the route they're going now, if anything I guess the media wankfest over 'king kenny' is over now. Suarez should miss the remainder of the season tbh as like I mentioned earlier he's not learnt anything and his punishment needs to get to the level whereby it majorly affects Liverpool's season that way we're more likely to see Dalglish and co actually get annoyed with him and force him to act like an adult instead of a petulant child (something Dalglish also seems incapable of mind.).
-
Aye too late in the day for it to be sincere at all now, also looking at that it does appear his apology is aimed at the people in Liverpool that he told he would shake Evra's hand . Hope the shitstorm continues for Dalglish and Suarez and it ends up with Suarez leaving (Dalglish can stay though because they might find a manager that has a clue)
-
So Suarez saying "I don't talk to black people" after Evra asked him what he was doing when he nipped Evra's arm isn't racist? for him then to call Evra a 'negrito' 17 times during an argument (don't get pulled into the it's a friendly term in Uruguay excuse he'd of not been nicely referring to Evra as a little black man during an argument would he?). It's not bandwagon jumping to say the way Suarez and LFC have acted is wrong because it is quite obviously very wrong, it wouldn't have been half the issue it's become if Suarez had come out and apologized with some 'I got caught up in the moment' excuse (let's face it the man is a racist but that excuse would have took some heat off him) LFC and Dalglish could have then come out and said that they accept the ban and feel let down by Suarez and his actions but he's doing some charity work/community service during his ban. Instead they threw all their toys out the pram and declared there was nothing racist about racially abusing a black man, to top it all off today the bloke wouldn't shake the man's hand proving he's not learnt anything at all if anything I'd of expected Evra to refuse to shake his hand. No bandwagon jumping by anyone tbh this behavior isn't welcome in football and Suarez and LFC should be continually punished until they realise this, especially as the way they are going on at the moment is bringing the game into disrepute. In addition Suarez hasn't faced legal prosecution the same as Terry so you could argue Suarez has got off lightly.
-
The whole 'it's different in Uruguay' excuse doesn't work when you put in the fact that Suarez left Uruguay at 19, he's now 25 so has spent nearly his entire adult life in Europe he should know how things work here feigning ignorance isn't an excuse in fact the fact he's an ignorant little prick is the problem.
-
Good summary of the whole situation that.
-
They've completely forgotten about that one now mate. We won't be seeing any of rhys here from March 4th onwards.
-
I don't think there's much between either of them to be honest. Taylor had a good start to the season but the majority of it was with Tiote in front of him, Williamson looked solid enough too when Tiote was in the team when we only conceded 1 goal in 4 games, since he's been out we've played another 5 league games and conceded 11 goals. We'll see when Tiote returns, I agree Tiote will go some way to shoring things up a bit more but I still see Williamson as less dependable than Taylor.
-
Aye he's not but next to a good centre back like Colo he's solid enough, Williamson is a big liability.
-
We also didn't have Mike Williamson in the back four in most of those 14 games. edit: Agree we really miss Tiote though, Perch is not even close. Just think losing Taylor is an equally big blow if not bigger.

http://www1.skysport...points-at-media No wonder Liverpool are so shite under this bloke, he doesn't seem to have any grasp on what's going on which idiot told him Suarez shook hands man . I loved that bit mind "well thats contrary to wha ahh been towld" what you think he's making it up man? No idea how Liverpool fans can be happy with this bloke I'd be thoroughly embarrassed also they all seem to be oblivious to the fact that Suarez is single handedly psyching the Man Utd players up for the games.
-
Aye Obertan reverted back to his lackadaisical self, not saying he was unbelievable previously but he give it a go the past 2 appearances but it was back to his hide from the ball, shirk tackles and not tracking back self. He shouldn't start another game this season, don't mind him coming on as a late sub but he shouldn't start.
-
Agreed, Pace killed us against Fulham, Chelsea, Blackburn (luckily they were too shit to score) and now Spurs.
-
They're both back for Wolves I think, we don't play next weekend so gives Tiote a weeks training after he gets back from ACN.
-
Can someone inform Simpson he's our right back not a centre back.
