His tactics at Sunderland are trying to keep an extremely high work rate for 90 minutes and hope to nick a goal, fair play to him the players responded and put the work in but they look absolutely paggered now and they've got 3 more games in the next 10 days whereas we have 1. They also look very inept without Sessegnon who he'll probably have to buy a replacement for in the summer.
-
Aye, no longer only 7 points behind now as that helmet posting on here last week was so gleefully pointing out. Where's the mackem cockiness gone? Blackburn are 9 behind them and we're 10 ahead of them. They have to win 4 more games than us in the last 9 I'm confident that wont happen.

94 minutes against Blackburn and not a single shot on target and they call us shit?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Howay replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Williamson is a very poor defender but he's a championship level centre back that has no confidence, Perch is barely championship standard as a defender. Williamson is between 6' 3" and 6' 4", Perch is nowhere near that. Perch had a decent game, remember we were only playing Norwich at home he did perform well but it doesn't make him different to the player we saw when he had a few games at CB. This is why we really needed someone in January, Williamson isn't up to standard but I think people also forget how far below standard Perch is as a centre back he looks ok with a back 4 sitting behind him so any mistake can be swept up but any mistake at CB leaves Krul alone.- 10610 replies

Aye we should have stuck with him eh, from what I remember everyone had given up trying to get rid of him and had just decided to get on with it then Ashley sacked him out the blue. Terrible manager, iirc didn't he make Duff go on a carbohydrate free diet and then had to go back on it when Duff was fucking paggered constantly.
-
Remember when we took a 4-1 humping off Portsmouth at home and he was sat in the stands with his Tv's round him as it give him a better view or whatever and after the 2nd or 3rd flew in he had to run the gauntlet of abuse all the way down.

Robert Green doesn't cover enough ground in the game.
-
Too busy putting players in hyperbaric chambers and freezing their legs than letting them actually train.
-
Aye his possession football worked at Bolton for a while but like you say he looked clueless for us and the football was dire to watch. Just had a look at the West Ham squad and it's appalling he's not walking the league with that it's better than a fair few Premiership sides.
-
When are people going to stop hiring Allardyce man, he's fucking useless.
-
Not only that but Whitbread nigh on pulled Ba's shirt over his head and the ball actually fell right too Ba, much more of a pen than the one Williamson give away against the mackems.

He's done a good job, my major worry with him is even in games we're controlling after we score we instantly sit back and let the opponent into it.- 10610 replies

Our lot never bothered coming out for the 2nd half (apart from Krul), Shola looked every inch the world beater we know he is.
-
Aye I'd like to see Santon at right back and if he performs we should keep Jonas at LB and Santon at RB.
-
Decent half we let them into the game too much after the goal, we seem to have a tendency to not keep control of the game after we score. Should be at least 2-0 up that Ruddy's save from Ba's flick was some reaction, Cisse telegraphed what he was doing too much for his late chance still another good save from their keeper. Williamson is a right liability, Perch is putting in a decent shift and Ben Arfa grafting hard. Jonas has had more impact from left back than he normally does on the wing .

Because Ryan Taylor is renowned for touching little boys.
-
Good to hear he's stable.
-
Really hope he pulls through, he's a canny player but can't see him resuming his career after this. Thoughts go to him and his family, totally tragic situation I just hope he gets through it.

Put it this way would you want to go visit the place? Easier to just brand Sunderland and Boro as two shitholes and go by word of mouth, love the bit where it mentions people 'loathe the mackem accent' it is a truly horrific one. Still love how we're Geordie's and they're named by an insult we give them, drives the older ones mental but the young mugs have adopted it as some badge of pride 'mackem and proud' it's like going 'dickhead and proud'.

This tbh. It bothers me most when Newcastle fans refer to Man U as 'United', I've no problem with Man utd fans calling them United as I refer to Newcastle as United sometimes. The media are tossers when it comes to it but it does mainly irk me if they're playing another 'United' team and being honest it's one of the less annoying things sky pundits do (fawning over Man utd and Liverpool being worse), still a bit annoying especially when as already noted they're not even an actual United. Suppose it's like fans of other 'City' clubs when Man City get referred to as City.

PMSL the Elvis and SAFC shrine wall behind him Edit: Anyone notice the linked video "SAFC academy dance off" no wonder they never produce any players if they're too busy practicing their choreography.
-
Aye would be deserved tbh, him and Ferguson seem like mates in all so he'll put in a good word no doubt.
-
Haha it's definitely a fair representation of a good proportion of them, there's lads that are realistic though and acknowledge Newcastle are the far bigger club but it's a canny representation of their obsessive element.
-
Aye he's done a good job with them over the years, they've been a hard team to beat his entire tenure if nowt else.
-
Ben Arfa's even come out and explained what it was about, surprised they haven't seen that yet as they're normally discussing the latest NUFC news before we do.
