Chuffed by this performance like, we'd been winning but weren't playing well and I was nervous for this one but the way we just controlled the game from the opening whistle has made me a lot more confident for the final 8 games. Losing Colo is a big hit mind but from what it seems only 2 weeks so he might even make Swansea.

Aye I'd rather Santon play with Williamson in CD as I think Santon's 6' 3" and Williamson is 6' 4" but that's literally the only reason I'd favor Williamson as CB over Perch.

The front 3 were utter class today conducted by Ben Arfa who's movement and passing was immense. Thought it was a bit odd that Pardew subbed him and not Cisse when Cisse was obviously carrying a knock.

Very worrying if Colo is out for 2-3 games, Perch and Williamson as a central defensive partnership is terrifying.

Ferguson over Santon? no chance, like above Pardew wants his head checked if he considers that. I'm not totally against Ferguson getting a run out (still don't think he's ready) but not over players like Santon.

Could we not just play Ben Arfa on the left wing and Jonas left back, he coped fine with the entire wing pretty much to himself against Norwich so he wont need Ben Arfa to support him too much then put Santon right back with Guthrie (if Tiote's still out?) / Obertan ahead of him.

Williamson is a very poor defender but he's a championship level centre back that has no confidence, Perch is barely championship standard as a defender. Williamson is between 6' 3" and 6' 4", Perch is nowhere near that. Perch had a decent game, remember we were only playing Norwich at home he did perform well but it doesn't make him different to the player we saw when he had a few games at CB. This is why we really needed someone in January, Williamson isn't up to standard but I think people also forget how far below standard Perch is as a centre back he looks ok with a back 4 sitting behind him so any mistake can be swept up but any mistake at CB leaves Krul alone.

Aye we should have stuck with him eh, from what I remember everyone had given up trying to get rid of him and had just decided to get on with it then Ashley sacked him out the blue.
