Newcastle United V Bolton Wanderers Easter Monday Kick Off 3pm

Guthrie needs to be at peak fitness or else he's utterly paggered by about 60 mins in and since he picks up knocks quite regularly he's rarely at top fitness. I don't like when it's only Guthrie and Cabaye as Cabaye drops deeper because Guthrie stays high up the pitch, which is why we didn't see many of the balls we've seen from Cabaye in recent weeks in the period that Tiote was away. He's canny in the midfield 3 as Tiote sitting deep allows Cabaye to also push forward but if Vuckic or Abeid make the step up (which really isn't unrealistic), we'd not miss him. Vuckic is ready to step up tbh, his performances for Cardiff and his start against West Brom show he's capable he'd do well in the midfield 3 tbh. Guthrie really isn't anything special and if what Tom says about him rejecting a £20k a week contract is true then it looks like he's already decided to go tbh because he's not worth more than that to us. -
His goal records in both England and Italy are astounding for someone of his age, especially with the fact he's completely mental. Agree that he needs a proper manager to sort him out as Mancini is hopeless, whereas a manager like Ferguson wouldn't allow some of his antics. He could really develop into a top class player, perhaps even world class as Craig is pointing too but he'll never get that with a bloke like Mancini.

lets not go mad, you only have to stop hating them during that one match Aye a nice 90 minute break.

Vuckic's performance against West Brom far exceeds anything Ferguson has done so far, nowt against Ferguson he looks decent but Vuckic has shown the most out of our younger prospects. -

I'd nearly forgotten that saga.

Aye Shola will have just signed a new 4 year extension and will be up for the game.
-
I understand from our perspective we look at him as a back up and don't want to pay him big bucks, but as a 2 year premiership starter and having performed to a decent standard consistently only being on £9k a week while other right backs that aren't as good imo like Onouha are on £60k a week it must be pretty frustrating. As that's probably the case we just need to move him on as we could definitely get better value for money from the French league where we seem to be gaining alot of popularity among players. Like I've said earlier, I'd love to keep the lad as backup especially as Santon so far hasn't been able to stay fit consistently.

Aye pathetic attempt to try and label the man anti-semetic when really he's just calling Levy a scum bag, if anything it's more anti-semetic that they tried to link it to the fact that Spurs have a big Jewish following. He has a point though Chelsea have a big game and could do with the extra days rest (I don't want them to have it but tbh I'd expect the FA to give any English side the best chance to win if they were in similar circumstances) and we really can't just pander to them, as like he says where do you draw the line? if they were themselves in a Champions League Semi-final would they refuse to play that leg if it fell on that date?

The way Everton and Liverpool are playing I can't see Liverpool winning the FA cup semi sadly.

The Muamba incident will have played a part. While I think it should be awarded purely on football reasons, Coyle did handle the situation well and they picked up a couple of decent results. That's what I thought. Not many teams win 5 on the bounce and only let in a couple goals. ( not that im bitter ) Pardew got to be candidate for Manager of the Year. Aye if we finish 4th or 5th he should definately be given manager of the year, I think he fully deserves it even if we finish 6th simply because of the gulf in points between us and 7th. -
If Chelsea get a dry humping off Fulham then I might start to build a bit of belief that we could nick 4th. Spurs are in abysmal form atm and we're looking good to keep churning out the wins.
-
He's also get the edge on Ben Arfa with regard to his talent at elbowing other players, Ben Arfa just mustn't have the flexibilty in his shoulder to match this ability.
-
Fucking corkers some of these lads.
-
So it's finally dawning on them that they're fucking shit? it's about time the massive hangovers from their Blue pop and Champers binges that followed the FA cup win over Arsenal wore off, maybe they'll start realising other obvious things, such as Vaughn and Colback aren't as good as Cabaye and Tiote, Pardew isn't that bad, O'Neill isn't that good, Cattermole is one of the worst players in the league and Sessegnon isn't fit to lace Ben Arfa's boots. Also maybe after figuring all this out they might stop shagging their own sisters and finally eat something aside from cheesy chips.
-
I said while watching that the only way I could see us doing much was through a piece of Ben Afra magic, 5 minutes later he goes and runs through half their team. Unbelievable talent.

Weyy Ryder is a bit of a nob you're right, just any mention of Obertan being penciled in makes me nervous. -

why would he? Just going off CT's post about Ryder's tweet. I don't think he will, I don't see us changing from the 4-3-3. -
Only 1 of them plays for a club outside the current top 5 and I don't particularly rate Glen Johnsons defensive abilities too highly either. It's a weird one he's not that good but there really aren't many in the league that are much better than him.
-
I worry about his positioning, as he gets caught out of position alot and Jonas covers for him. Like I said in another thread I've also heard a rumour that he doesn't like it here.
