That 'Whitley" bloke mind, what a shambles kissing up to mackems oh dear.
-
Was going to say this, he's not really done anything unless they're referring to him celebrating our goal against them? in which case I'm sure he celebrates all our goals, they jizz themselves over O'neill doing his Franky Detorri impression anytime they score same thing surely?

He was basically making out he only questioned that he wouldn't make it, despite being pretty damning in that he said "thank fuck for that" when he found they hadn't signed Cisse he also questioned if he could handle the physicality of the league which really makes me doubt if he'd ever seen the bloke. I really don't understand how anyone could watch Cisse play and think he was lightweight and not a clinical finisher. -

It really is time for people like that to just realise he means these, how many 'flukes' is he going to score. He intentionally hit across the ball to put the spin on it and he intended for it to go on target that's as much intent as you can have with any long range shot anything outside of that has an element of luck. The bloke is simply fantastic I saw a mackem arguing he had no right foot but after seeing that he admits he's utter quality now. By the way has anyone else noticed that mackem mug that was claiming to be an avid Freiburg viewer and said he'd not make it is backpeddling like fuck now . -
Aye I said to my mate the other night, the amount of talented players we've been able to see we've been lucky really. Imagine having to support the constant stream of shite that Sunderland call players I mean Kevin Phillips ranks among their best ever players, oh dear.
-
Aye it wasn't accidental, the idiot he is didn't even wait 5 minutes to 'get him back'. The bloke commentating just kept saying he was defending himself but that wasn't a shielding arm he was looking to hurt Tiote and it was extremely dangerous the way he did it, bordering on assault. No time for Mikel anyway he's fucking useless.

It's going to be some game tbh, looking forward too it. I don't mind City fans too much (mainly pre 2008) but they have become canny arrogant since the new ownership and the £400m+ influx of talent, mind I can't say that we wouldn't become equally as arrogant if it had been us.
-
Aye surely they can see how ridiculous it is now when it keeps on happening, he's meaning it of course he didn't hit it thinking it'd go in but he meant to put that spin on the ball.

Great 1st half, hope they keep it up 2nd half Chelsea look like they really weren't expecting this pity Ba's shot didn't go in as it'd of been a great well worked goal and 2-0 at half time would have been a very solid lead the way we're going about it. -
Aye, I also disagreed with a fair portion of what Neville said he slowed everything down to frame by frame looking for any amount of contact before going "foul? yes, dive? yes" but it's the type of sport where you will make contact with defenders it doesn't make it a foul every single time that happens, when the contact is strong enough to impede the attackers progress I agree that is a foul but simply grazing the defenders leg isn't a foul. It is very tough to stop but the FA need to do something because it's fair to say a lot of people are sick of seeing things like players punting the ball miles away then searching for contact from the keeper so that the keeper gets a red and they get a pen, or knocking the ball sideways and then 'kicking' the defender in order to win a free kick. The point I agree with Neville is that players know that they often wont get a free kick or penalty without going down and this is also something that needs to be changed as it gives players a good reason to fall over, Tiote getting elbowed by Sessegnon was a good example he went down softly and rather than being annoyed at their own player for being irrational and getting himself sent off the mackems were going berserk at Tiote for diving and some were saying if he hadn't went down Sessegnon might have stayed on the pitch, maybe they were right but if so that's a good reason on why Tiote had to go down.

Seen that and the sequel 'What becomes of the broken Hearted', the first is far better and I agree it can be a bit rough at times.
-
Aye he goes whole matches only referring to them by their first names, what a nob.
-
I've got to put up with Steve McManaman over here at the moment, it's like a bloke commentating a match of his mates whenever he covers Liverpool constantly bringing up recent conversations he's had with the players.
-
Dempsey's looking good again.
-
As Craig's said I'm chuffed with 6th so anything above that is a plus, it's been a great season regardless.
-
Cheers I'll keep an eye out for that.

I've tried for years to avoid FIFA as I was always a PES fan until the awful PES 2008, I bought Fifa 11 and wasn't a big fan of it and recently bought PES 12 as it was cheap and it was awful. My lasses cousin has Fifa 12 and to say it was better than PES 12 is an understatement, I far preferred it to Fifa 11 (although it could have been because I only played 4 games of 12?). I think I might buy Fifa 13 when do the demos normally come out for these?
-
Aye credit where it's due they've always had a canny support, would of been very easy for them to just support Man Utd.
-
What's wrong with saying it? I'm not negative or pessimistic overall, very happy with this season and I'll still fancy our chances of giving it a go against Man City but realistically they're going to be playing for the title and we'll spend a good part of the game on the backfoot. Nowt to do with our 4-0 loss, I'd still be worried about the Man City game even if we'd beaten Wigan.

FA given Permission to speak to Roy Hodgson over England job
Howay replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Aye it's a shame the press have their Knives out and he's not even been announced yet, he's always come across as a decent bloke and he's done well everywhere he's went (Liverpool aside I guess but they had a lot of injuries and they give him no time at all, give him the time and money 'King' Kenny has had and he'd have them in a fair better position), he's the right age for an England boss too. Like others have said it's going to be a shame to see him ripped to pieces by the press who will be masquerading as the voice of England fans. It's completely ridiculous that Redknapp is being made out to be the peoples favorite, let's face it Newcastle is split over managerial appointments and it's a city of under 1m people never mind the differing views of a (potential) 60m + fanbase, personally I've never met anyone that likes Redknapp he's pretty much seen as a wanker by most people I know. I also agree with all the posts about getting the new lot in and dumping the 'Golden generation', what's the point in playing the likes of Gerrard and co? they've had about 4 tournaments and haven't played well in any of them really (not talking about missing the ridiculous media expectations but scrapping for 1-0 wins against countries ranked 50 places or so lower than us isn't good enough), as Asprilla said if they couldn't do it at 23-29 what chance do 30+ year olds with knackered knees stand? They don't care about England especially now, I'd far rather see us blood in the next lot and prepare for the future it's not like we stand any chance of winning this one with the strength of teams like Germany and Spain. In fact the youth would probably perform far better and provide much more entertainment than Gerrard and co waddling around while that nob head plays the trumpet in the crowd. -
