LOLerpool, Agger off West Brom pen.

What a snorefest Liverpool are so far, 5 yard passes all over the shop. The commentator even made a comment about how when they tried to play it more direct Rodgers began screaming at them.
-
Aye, Simpson is poor for the level we're looking at but Ryan Taylor is an abysmal defender. Simpson played all of last season behind Ben Arfa and Obertan who are often disinterested in defending or in Obertan's case just plain shit, whereas often when Ryan Taylor played he had Jonas in front of him. The one game Jonas missed and Taylor played he got ripped several new arseholes. Simpson's frustrating but adequate, Ryan Taylor is effective in midfield but as a defender he's terrifying.

What a fucking ridiculous rumour.

I like what I'm hearing about how this lad plays, could make for a very exciting midfield 3.

Aye sadly.

Rather have them playing for our reserves than Scottish division 4 tbh. I doubt we will loan any mind it's looking more and more like a fuck you to whelhan.

That's a lot of 5 yard passes.

Pulling a right Blue Steel pose in all.

Aye the bloke seems a bit of a prick it's one thing thinking of this (I'm sure a lot of players do) but to say it about a club before a bid is even in would end my interest in the player tbh.
-
Aye it was very frustrating, going to see it again in the next couple of days so hopefully shouldn't have to put up with kids. We thought we'd be ok as it was a 9.45 showing on a Sunday night, didn't get out till nigh on 1 am too much for a 4 year old that tbh. Mind I have to assume the parents hadn't seen either begins or the dark knight as if you'd seen them you'd know it's not really suitable for bairns, you're right about the cinema not being able to do alot I guess they just have to follow the ratings they're given.
-
Aye the fact a 4 month old was there was especially baffling, why didn't they just get someone to watch the kid for them. I agree it was very odd of the cinema to allow all the kids in. I saw the movie 2 nights ago and was surprised how many young kids were in, one of which started screaming and crying anytime Batman was punched.
-
The fact there was so many little kids there is odd for a midnight screening of a violent movie but I'm more likely going to put that down to poor parenting than some insane conspiracy.

Agreed ADP, it is a daft move by Rodgers I get the bloke has 'his' system and he doesn't think Carroll would fit into it but to not even give the lad a chance is daft especially when he's a proven goalscorer in the Prem and Borini isn't. I'd personally love to see Carroll back as I think he's a good player and imo has less risk than a Luuk De Jong type signing (I know he's went to Monchengladbach) but not for the £20m fee that's being banded about. I agree with Tom's point that Liverpool are in a difficult position here as they've shown their hand really by publicly stating he can leave and with us announcing interest he'd probably be against leaving Liverpool for anyone besides us.
-
I'd welcome his return tbh good player when played right, young and it would mean we ripped Liverpool for millions for what will pretty much amount to an 18 month loan

Is the collar the same as the Italy kit? if so it would seem we've got the same template as the keeper kit is definitely the same.
-
I know Roma had him on loan with an option to buy, so I'm assuming they bought him and sold him straight to Liverpool for a profit? bit of an odd one, he's not very tall iirc I watched him a couple of times for Roma but not enough to comment on his quality. I also mirror MT's feelings on the transfer, would be a laugh if Carroll transferred elsewhere and performed while Borini performed terribly.
-
Nicer than last seasons tbh.
-
Isn't that the lad that used to be in Chelsea's reserve/youth teams?
-
Daily Mail (I know it's not the best) claiming we've agreed £7m fee with Lille for Debuchy, hope that comes off.
-
Aye as reliable as the Arabian Gulfs first daily publication seems the £80m valuation seems very odd, wouldn't make much sense for Ashley to sell for a large loss after putting us into a far better position than when he first arrived.

Is Piers Morgan the biggest twat in the world?

That'd be utter class.

He was the Clydesdale Bank SPL Player of the Year for the 2007-08 season according to his Wiki, obviously a top top player. Also the fact he's 30 and on a free adds credence to the suggestions the Mackems have nowt to spend.
