  1. Come on now, if you lot are going to try and use this at least stay consistent eh it's been 43, 47 and 32 you've even given two separate figures in this thread. £550 per person to fly 4 hours and watch our reserves play a qualifier, might be a big game for a club that never plays in Europe.
  2. Hazard surprised me being unselfish and squaring it to Ivanovic, he's looking like he'll be very good when he's settled.
  3. Agree, When a talented youngster gets a chance at first team level it shows them that things they get away with in a youth/reserve level may cost them at the higher level. It gives them a good glimpse into their faults and where they need to improve as opposed to whipping other young lads then at 22-23 learning half the stuff you regularly do wont work.
  4. Aye seems to have a great attitude and from the sounds of things is very talented. Hope the lad makes it as its great to produce our own, sounds a very strong reserve/developmental side.
  5. PSV are playing Roda in 15 minutes, is Pieters injured? seems very odd that he's not there injured or not tbh. He could be a guest of Krul but it'd be pretty bizarre for him to be over here now unless it was to sign.
  6. Just seen on Twitter that Erik Pieters is at the toon game, lad asked him if he was signing "dunno possibly" was his response. the tweets on this account with a picture: https://twitter.com/NUFC_Stats
  7. terrible miss, Conference north standard defending.
  8. Aye, they look total dross especially defensively.
  9. LOLerpool, Agger off West Brom pen.
  10. What a snorefest Liverpool are so far, 5 yard passes all over the shop. The commentator even made a comment about how when they tried to play it more direct Rodgers began screaming at them.
  11. Aye, Simpson is poor for the level we're looking at but Ryan Taylor is an abysmal defender. Simpson played all of last season behind Ben Arfa and Obertan who are often disinterested in defending or in Obertan's case just plain shit, whereas often when Ryan Taylor played he had Jonas in front of him. The one game Jonas missed and Taylor played he got ripped several new arseholes. Simpson's frustrating but adequate, Ryan Taylor is effective in midfield but as a defender he's terrifying.
  12. What a fucking ridiculous rumour.
  13. I like what I'm hearing about how this lad plays, could make for a very exciting midfield 3.
  14. Rather have them playing for our reserves than Scottish division 4 tbh. I doubt we will loan any mind it's looking more and more like a fuck you to whelhan.
  15. Pulling a right Blue Steel pose in all.
  16. Aye the bloke seems a bit of a prick it's one thing thinking of this (I'm sure a lot of players do) but to say it about a club before a bid is even in would end my interest in the player tbh.
  17. Aye it was very frustrating, going to see it again in the next couple of days so hopefully shouldn't have to put up with kids. We thought we'd be ok as it was a 9.45 showing on a Sunday night, didn't get out till nigh on 1 am too much for a 4 year old that tbh. Mind I have to assume the parents hadn't seen either begins or the dark knight as if you'd seen them you'd know it's not really suitable for bairns, you're right about the cinema not being able to do alot I guess they just have to follow the ratings they're given.
  18. Aye the fact a 4 month old was there was especially baffling, why didn't they just get someone to watch the kid for them. I agree it was very odd of the cinema to allow all the kids in. I saw the movie 2 nights ago and was surprised how many young kids were in, one of which started screaming and crying anytime Batman was punched.
  19. The fact there was so many little kids there is odd for a midnight screening of a violent movie but I'm more likely going to put that down to poor parenting than some insane conspiracy.
  20. Agreed ADP, it is a daft move by Rodgers I get the bloke has 'his' system and he doesn't think Carroll would fit into it but to not even give the lad a chance is daft especially when he's a proven goalscorer in the Prem and Borini isn't. I'd personally love to see Carroll back as I think he's a good player and imo has less risk than a Luuk De Jong type signing (I know he's went to Monchengladbach) but not for the £20m fee that's being banded about. I agree with Tom's point that Liverpool are in a difficult position here as they've shown their hand really by publicly stating he can leave and with us announcing interest he'd probably be against leaving Liverpool for anyone besides us.
  21. I'd welcome his return tbh good player when played right, young and it would mean we ripped Liverpool for millions for what will pretty much amount to an 18 month loan
