brilliant news, tomorrow's going to be a bit boring given the excitement over the last few days. Glad Ashley allowed those at the club responsible for bringing players in to go and sign up who they wanted, when he could have easily waited for the contracts to run down. Aye he should have bought in the summer but this is a brilliant boost at an important time.

This is the odd part about this situation. First like has been mentioned why wasn't compassionate leave the first option explored, but also if he goes to Argentina he'd comfortably be, if not the best, one of the best defenders there so why was San Lorenzo the only option?

Forster is a canny keeper but he was always going to be number 2 for us so to the original question no I'm not upset we lost our back up goalie.

The club staff saw him and Krul every day for years. No doubt they were comparing them that whole time. Krul is the better keeper if Forster was we'd still have him not sure why this confuses Celtic fans, he was pushing for first team footy not neccessarily a move away but when we couldn't offer it we shipped him out. I've seen plenty from both keepers and Krul is far superior, of course I'd still like to have him as backup but back up keepers isn't really a topic all that worthy of much discussion tbh. As for the England cap thing wasn't Butland taken to the euros after less than 10 appearances for Birmingham 1st team takes nowt to get called up now, like Tom mentioned young up and comers like Zaha already have caps.

I don't particularly blame the ownership for this one, Ba and his henchmen are a bunch of twats and only care about money (not saying he's wrong for this mind). Yeah they maybe could have pushed to offer him more money and raise the release clause etc but Ba would have presumably wanted that release clause in. Where the owner is up for criticism imo is how we respond to this, if we have a Kuqi situation then it's a joke but if we respond by going and getting someone like Remy and move on then this whole deal has worked out for us. We'll just have to wait and see I guess, I just hope that Cisse starts thriving back in his natural position or we could be in real trouble.
