Aye seems the way under Hodgson, get in the lead and focus on keeping the shape more than anything else. Really thought we had them in the first half, would have rather seen Defoe start over Welbeck in all mind as Welbeck's hardly been on fire this season. Think Baines deserved a start over Cole and I'm sick of James Milner tbh.

Imagine if the England players showed that level of passion and enthusiasm. Montenegro really kicked on in the 2nd half but England should have had the quality to see that one out, we went from short passing in the 1st to mainly long ball in the second which was disappointing. Whenever we did get possession the players kept trying killer balls rather than easing our way back into the game and holding the ball for a bit, unfortunately England didn't bother responding to Montenegro's upped tempo until they equalized. Ah well.

Scummy act committed by a bunch of scumbags. Are Wigan fans /the club willing to say a similar thing about Mcmanaman?
-
Staggering. Utterly staggering news, it's as if they try to be wrong. How did the linesman see the contact but not the full extent of it? The bloke went in above the knee that's a straight red in any interpretation of the rules. Did he turn away just as the contact happen? Useless twats. Charging carver in all that has to be them making a joke of all this, a bloke nigh on cripples another and the guy that yells at him for doing that gets the ban

Absolutely nightmarish officiating in that game. Fuck Wigan btw hope the dirty pricks go down.
-
Fucking hell, the commentator is kicking off about that kick from Perch, while saying McManaman just "caught" Haidara.
-
Aye, if Halsey missed it because Gouffran was in the way like you said before that linesman wants shot with shit, he couldn't have been further than 25-30 yards away and surely would have seen Mcmanaman was coming in at a ridiculous height. Depressing decision tbh and I don't blame Carver for kicking off at all.
-
I really don't understand how Halsey gave nothing for that. All 4 of the officials missed it completely? How many times does a player get stretchered off as a result of a challenge and its not a free kick at the least? Can't be many. Horrific ref hopefully he sees the replay at half time and is harsh to Wigan 2nd half. Doubt that mind.
-
Aye he'll be off for looking at mcmanaman funny.
-
Exactly, an above the knee lunge, it'd of been a red if it was 5-6" below that let alone it being the height it was ffs.
-
I cant get over the commentator, on watching the replay he says , "he caught him a bit there, but he was going for the ball" in a relaxed voice, it's a clear red any day of the week he flew in at above knee height ffs absolutely horrific challenge. Halsey missed it is no shocker the useless prick.

Sometimes I forget how much they hate us in all, couldn't be more irrelevant. Hope he scores on his debut, the bunch of sacks. Tbh I hope the loan does him good, chuffed we made this move and hopefully we'll make a few more like it.

The music in the second car is mint btw.

Aye it's lush there.

Salt of the Earth round there man! My Dad's side are all from Benwell, Scotswood road and Elsick, My mam was the posh one of the family as she's from West Denton. One of his work vans was nicked and we found it somewhere in Benwell with half the kids from around there jumping on it The tools and ladders no where to be found obviously.

I had a teacher that anytime Newcastle lost would tell us he had it worse because he supported Mansfield. He'd always tell us about how they were 5-0 up in the 85th minute and went on to lose the match 5-6, with the 6th hit in from 40 yards as the left back and goalie were arguing about who was to blame for conceding the 5th. No idea if this was true but always makes me laugh when I hear about Mansfield.

Felt bad for the bloke, no bids on the first auction. Got one bid on the re-listed one, wonder how much it cost him to get all that stuff.

Must admit I never seem to do well with Barca either, Madrid I can do okay with but it's mostly down to Ronaldo + Benzema. I quite enjoyed playing as Marseilles tbh, only tried Bayern once so might give them a go again.
-
Cheers Ant, I'll try that. Aye I noticed that when I played online outside of seasons mode nigh on every game I play was one of them two.
-
I was initially playing as Tottenham, the high line they seem to play was getting me killed. I started using Marseilles and it went well for a while until I come up with another bloke that did it. I just can't seem to stop the diagonal across the box to the back post, a bloke scored a diving header with it when my player should have really had the ball. Guess I just need to get used to the new defending more, I went from Fifa 11 to this one.
-
Never really bothered with this online but thought I'd try some of the Seasons mode out. Is the lobbed through ball an exploit? I've dominated every game I've played possession wise and shots etc and win most but now and again I come up against people who are terrible and barely touch the ball but score nigh on every time they do get it. I'll admit I'm not very good at defending but they do the L1 + triangle and my defender cannot win the ball even when I get to it first my player slows down and he breaks past me and takes it, then they use L1 + triangle to a player on the back post who diving headers it in no matter where my defender is. They then go on to do this every single time they get the ball, sometimes I can hook it away from them but often I just can't seem to win the ball. Is this some sort of exploit like the drag back goals on previous games and is there a way to defend against it? Like I say I'm not very good but I know I'm better than the players that do this to me, it's putting me off bothering as every couple of games I come up against blokes that do this.
-
He ripped us apart last season. He's one of them players where he's either amazing or he just can't be arsed, hopefully with the traveling and not being 100% we see the latter version of him
-
The Fabregas mention is a bit odd too seeing as he almost went straight into their first team and Barca were gutted to lose him, not sure it was a big gamble.
-
aye was going to say he was a disaster, wasn't it him that was rumored to have just sat inside watching tv during training sessions leaving it to the other coaches?
