Agreed, just hoping we see a repeat of last weeks Tiote today. Cattermole is going to be completely reckless today like usual so I hope Pardew has told Tiote he'd do more damage if he just stays calm, takes the fouls and plays his game.
-
That central midfield of theirs is piss weak, I really expect Tiote, Cabaye and Sissoko to step up and really dominate today.
-
Really don't get their logic with regards to us here tbh, I've seen a few mentioning this "they're shite but have fluked 11 points". One even stated that we were shit last season and only bought one player so therefore still shit, which doesn't really work since the players are looking far better this year.
-
It's great to see them this shite, knowing our luck they'll have pulled it round by December 7th.
-
Lawro has it down as a 1-1 draw, so we're going to win.
-
Have to agree with Fish here like, the last one was a joke they were all just drooling and mashing the keyboards at their community library. Waste of time tbh.
-
Far more insulting than his "wee club" comment about us. Ouch.
-
Saw an interview with him a few week ago on Conan, his accent is so fucked up no hint of a Geordie accent tbh it's all over the place like Christian Bales.
-
I don't think the question of whether to drop him or not is mental, the inconsistency of his performances is worrying going into a game like this. But like Stevie mentioned I don't think he done any less than what Cisse has been doing, I'd keep him in the same role he was in as he was up against 3 good centre backs on Saturday whereas he'll be up against two cloggers come Sunday. I'd start with the same formation and players against the mackems, as that way we keep Ben Arfa on but still have Gouffran and Remy grafting on the wings.
-
Aye, I'm hoping Bardsley starts for them as I'm sure anyone of Ben Arfa, Remy or Gouffran would torture him (whichever way we line up).
-
My mistake Tom getting myself mixed up with that useless striker they have, didn't realize they'd loaned Ki from Swansea. He's ok but I'd expect our midfield to dominate theirs.
-
I think the ball scares that useless mug.
-
Still really stings that one. Hope our lot approach this game in a professional manner, don't look down on this rabble and expect to just turn up and win. We have to stay above their level and not get dragged down to their level which we have a couple of times recently, Cattermole will be running round like a twat kicking everyone so hopefully Tiote and Cabaye just get on with their game and let him get sent off.

Townsend had another class game today, Tottenham looked poor before their goal but ended up looking canny.
-
Just watching the clash of the titans that is FC Dallas v Seattle Sounders, I never really watch MLS but was interested to see what Dempsey looked like; he looks distinctly average in this game tbh, don't know if he's just having a bad game or if he's really dropped to this level only a year or 2 after he was a decent prem player.
-
Aye, what a feeling it must be to score for the toon. He's a left back normally right? he looked very composed in a less familiar position especially against one of the best strike partnerships in the league. It's good to see local lads come through tbh, I'd love to see us following Southampton's academy as an example of how to produce and bring through talent.
-
Aye they've had a few rough ones this season but both had good games today. I've said it a couple of times but Dummett really impressed me, he's only appeared in tougher fixtures in his prem appearances and hasn't looked overwhelmed, to come on at centre back today and play like that was impressive.
-
Aye sounds about right. He's a total piece of shit as a bloke in all.
-
Aye agreed, Ferguson and co didn't work on him but Clark and Nolan did it's a bit bizarre. West Ham are playing some decent stuff mind, why did Allardyce set us up so shite the entire time he was here when he's capable of putting out sides like this.
-
Aye seems to have calmed down a little bit mind, read something before on BBC saying Lee Clark had a big hand on settling him down while he was on loan at Birmingham. Nolan no doubt has had a word in all, similar to what he had with Carroll.
-
That Ravel Morrison is playing some canny stuff.
-
A good amount of them still fancy themselves to beat us, "it's only logical that things we will turn round for us next week and we start winning again getting points and have a good run up to the end of the season. ". If we approach the game like we approached todays they stand no chance, I understand the point that Poyet has had our number in the past but their squad (including all their shot confidence and fan unrest) is really really shit. Like I said before I just really hope the players approach this one in a professional manner, hopefully they have their backs up after being embarrassed last time.
