Utterly shite performance, we desperately need a striker in as soon as possible Shola isn't up to it and Remy is better out wide. Debuchy wants shot with shit for his ridiculous challenge.
-
I reckon mulumbu has been the same, both been kicking lumps out of our lot all afternoon.
-
Aye amalfitano should have had a booking for that, lunged in there.
-
Utter stupidity from Debuchy there. This match is utter shite tbh from both side, really disappointed by our lot looks like they stepped out the nightclub from celebrating the new year onto the bus down there.

Class, was the whole Feyenoord thing from when they had a good shot at KOing us from the CL (when Bellamy scored that injury time winner)? They're good at making banners mind, very "artsy" the mackems eh. You nailed it tbh, they really do have this ingrained obsession with trying to make friends and claim links to other clubs fan bases. I'm not arsed in the slightest tbh. I have noticed Feyenoord ones at mackem games in the past mind, it has to be that they're near the Shields ferry and are still huffy we beat them so pick a far smaller club than themselves to root for. They all come across with their Tim Krul bowl haircuts and Tim Krul dress sense and pick any seat they want at the SOL, it'd be too much planning to get toon tickets.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

Aye I agree, they were very hesitant to attack the ball at times. One incident in particular was where Anita put in a cracking ball and Gouffran bottled it seeing the goalie coming, if he'd flung himself at it he probably could have directed it at goal instead he jumped back from the play.- 10610 replies

Ouch, didn't know they'd played so few of the top teams away. They're fucked tbh, was it West Brom that survived relegation having been bottom at Xmas? be interesting to see what their last 19 fixtures were like compared to the mackems. Oh and HMHM is spot on about the wanting to fit in with other fans thing, when a lad that supports another club comes on here and is canny he's accepted and normally stuff like "your areet for a scouse/brummy/cockney" is said, if it happens on there there is an almighty arse licking of that club "I've always loved Hayes and Yeading, always been a top club full of the best people in the world", bunch of fucking whoppers man.

This, I think Pardew rightly feared the now common dry bumming from Walcott so he rightly wanted the play to be more condensed and tighter so when we moved up the field the whole team had to be moving to ensure we didn't get caught with a Williamson v Walcott footrace. Our successful pressure towards the end was massively helped by Arsenal dropping deep to hold out, if we played that expansively from the start we'd have been ripped apart like you say. Playing expansively would have meant a fresh Cazorla/Wilshere would have found large gaps to thread passes through to Walcott, rather than trying to force the ball like they had to early on. Pardew played it well tbh, the only thing that went wrong for him and was completely out of his hands was the poor play of our forwards. If Remy, Gouffran and Sissoko had been as effective as they have been for most the season the praise for Pardew would be unanimous, unfortunately for him and us they looked very leggy and played poorly.- 10610 replies

To be fair Rayvin is right, we normally do canny against them tbh so in that case I'm okay with them staying up. As long as the mackems go down I'll be happy with the relegated teams this year.
-
Aye agreed on Sissoko looking tired. It's be good to see Ben Arfa get a run I think he'd be effective against West Brom for sure.
-
There were a lot of positives from this match in all imo, we matched Arsenal the whole match to be honest and were let down by a moment of poor marking. We have to be looking to get 3 points from West Brom as Man City will be a big ask.
-
That's the point, put a ball in there and it can go off anyone, trying to smack the ball into where he did would have took a perfectly precise shot as well as Szczesny making a complete hash of it. He had to shoot across goal in that position, for what it's worth I like Ben Afra a lot and would start him but he deserves criticism for his bad choice the same as Gouffran and Remy deserve stick for bottling going for the ball.
-
Disappointing result, I think it should have been a free kick as it was a foul on Anita before their free kick. Very disappointed with the players wussing out of some things, think Gouffran could have dived in but took a step back and Remy also moved backwards as when the ball flicked back it was in the area Remy should have been in. Ben Arfa was good when he come on but he needs to be told to fucking pass, shooting towards the near post was pure fucking stupidity and greed if he was going to shoot it had to be to the far post but he really should have been putting in a cross as the 6 yard box was packed. Debuchy was class again imo, Anita was disappointing, Remy was anonymous again, Cabaye started bright but then faded a little and sat too deep when we were pressing them.

I won the league my 3rd season with Southampton, Clyne, Shaw and Ward Prowse are all class acts now (Ward Prowse in particular). Got some Romanian lad called iancu as Lallana has been getting injury prone recently, Danny Welbeck as another option up front/on the wing, and Balanta in defence (he's a monster Madrid, Monaco, Barca etc all tracking him but I'm financially sound so no need to sell). Picked up a lad called Ryan Ledson from Everton and he's becoming a canny midfielder in my rotation. After winning the league my form took a nightmare dip and I started getting grief from everyone (including Gordon Strachan the cheeky cunt ) but forms picked up and I'm top 5 now coming into December. I'm considering starting a new game, maybe a smaller league like Croatia or Ukraine as I really enjoyed the one I had with Boca Juniors on FM 2010 (Where I took a shine to mussachio and now I buy him on every FM game I play, he's worth £15m now on my Soton game after buying him for 2m). The only thing putting me off is I sometimes like to move up to a stronger league after making a name in a smaller one but on my FM I don't seem to be getting offered many jobs, anyone else noticed this? normally by this point I'd of been offered every job going but I've had nowt apart from an interview for AC Milan (it always bugged me how quickly the game had top teams offer you jobs but this seems the opposite atm).
-
Aye Ozil is top class tbh, glad we have Tiote back to track him around the box.
-
At least Ramsey is out, Flamini and Wilshere are dangerous mind.
-
Are Wilshere and Ramsey definitely out for this? Big boost for us if they are. We definitely have a good chance I reckon as Arsenal have looked tired the last few games and they had to work hard to beat West Ham, whereas our lot had it quite easy.
-
Borini has collapsed and been taken to hospital apparently. They look dreadful, another of their more winnable games results in no points.
-
They're probably all out on the drink before it.
-
Aye I was expecting us to pick up for the 2nd half. We usually have one canny half nowadays, mind we were shocking for that first 40 minutes and it's a good thing Stoke are an utterly shite team.
-
I'm chuffed with the result. Aye it was only against 9 men and they were the better side with 11 but I fucking hate Stoke. Whelan was actively looking to kick Cabaye I reckon, he'd gotten chippy with him for his first yellow (which was probably a soft one for kicking the ball away) but his 2nd yellow was for a petulant kick to the back of cabaye. The 2nd sending off was fair tbh Remy was denied a good chance. Aye the ball did go out for our 2nd goal but we only got 2 out of 4 penalty decisions. Stoke lost today because they're dirty twats and it caught up with them.
-
We've been very poor tbh only level thanks to Atkinson. Sissoko has been making some odd choices in that more advanced CM role, I'd prefer to see Cabaye there and have Sissoko in behind him. Remy is struggling being alone up top so I'd like to see him and Gouffran switched. We have to win this now tbh.
-
That's the toughest thing, I don't think anyone deserves dropped but he deserves a start. Good to finally have these sort of selection issues.
-
Cracking performance that, we could have really run away with that one but 3-0 is great. Think Ben Arfa deserves a start now tbh he's looked dangerous every time he's come on last few week.
