  1. He made some really nice quote pyramids though, was lots of fun when you were on your phone in all.
  2. How is he still bothered about this?
  3. Seems like it's just more chatter and shite. De Jong the main target and Ashley wants 4 players in, so basically nowt.
  4. @SkySportsNews Coming up at 7.30pm it's the first Transfer Centre of the January Transfer Window - standby for some exciting news for Newcastle fans! #SSN Rumour that it's Gomis, as apparently he tweeted something about a deal being made.
  5. Aye I always end up doing similar, keep replacing the 'old guard' with the up and coming wonderkids and struggling for a bit as their current ability isn't as high as the players they've replaced yet. I started a new game with Manchester City (I know I know) for a laugh and decided to use Tooj's tactics from his Southampton game, it's been pretty ridiculous tbh. Won the FA cup, prem and CL treble first season and second season has been one long winning streak as I've won every game (besides 2 draws in the CL and a draw away to Newcastle in the league cup semi final 1st leg) and I'm just after xmas. Was given £125m after my 1st season and spunked pretty much all of that and was just handed £85m for january, tbh I've had little practical use for either budget but have just went about padding out the squad. I got Lewandowski as a free agent at the end of the 1st season so I sent Dzeko out on loan to Barca (due to Tooj's tactic using 1 up top, although I have taken to using Aguero as the SS with Lewandowski up top recently). Brought in: Balanta, Shaw, Ravel Morrison, De Bruyne, Hamsik, Lucas Romero, Adam Campbell, Emre Can, Shaqiri, Allione, Jonathan Silva, Druissi, Correa, Vydra and a load of regens. I'm sure I'll get bored in the very near future and go back to my Southampton game or start a lower league one but sometimes it's nice to have some of these top players, as when I normally bring a team to the top I've already started using regens. The price differences are pissing me off mind as the CPU clearly sells lower to other CPU teams, as on my Southampton game Man City bought Thomas Muller and Wilshere for £40m and £28m in the first two seasons so I've tried every window and neither will budge even when I offer £50m, they got Hamsik for £30m and he cost me £50m.
  6. Aye Tarquin is a right fucking wazzack.
  7. It always cracks me up seeing older blokes going "boooooo".
  8. I love that he's attacking us for the fact we might play in Europe next season. You know that's a good thing right? I know your lot have only had 2 games in it and it was hopefully before your time, but it's good to be involved in European games. Also you're really ragging attendance of Thursday night ties in a tiny suburb of Athens featuring a bunch of younguns who have barely featured since, when you can't fill a stadium for a cup quarter final? Enjoy getting a kicking over 2 legs off the mancs followed by an exit in the 4th round (if you manage to get past the 3rd round which to be honest is about your rabbles level at the minute) of the FA cup. Then you'll have all them exciting relegation scraps to look forward too fucking exciting relegation matches get a grip man.
  9. Fight for your place , only 1 side has ever recovered from the position your lot are in and they were a hell of a lot better.
  10. Oh heck here wu gan, was doing okay before big lads cutting jabs here.
  11. What a total fucking cunt Pardew is. How many fans did Cardiff have there? 1,000 or so? That's all they need to win apparently. Couldn't put away one of the worst teams in the league at home, it's not the fans fault you horrible spineless shit bag.
  12. Half arsed it yet again and dumped out again. This is what Ashley wants, "we can concentrate on the league now".
  13. Fuck all up front tbh, like LooneyToon said we can't penetrate teams through the middle. Looking at West Brom they have Berahino, Anelka and Vydra (although he seems to like to play wide he is effective through the middle), compared to us who only really have Shola comfortable through the middle, as Cisse is basically non-existent as a footballer at the moment and Remy/Ben Arfa/Gouffran aren't very effective through the middle. Shola's purple patch of form is over now so we really have nothing through centre anymore and it seems like teams have noticed, defenders just go over softly anytime Shola tries to outmuscle them which refs fall for everytime and then they just keep showing Remy and Gouffran out wide knowing there's fuck all coming through the middle.
  14. Utterly shite performance, we desperately need a striker in as soon as possible Shola isn't up to it and Remy is better out wide. Debuchy wants shot with shit for his ridiculous challenge.
  15. I reckon mulumbu has been the same, both been kicking lumps out of our lot all afternoon.
  16. Aye amalfitano should have had a booking for that, lunged in there.
  17. Utter stupidity from Debuchy there. This match is utter shite tbh from both side, really disappointed by our lot looks like they stepped out the nightclub from celebrating the new year onto the bus down there.
  18. Class, was the whole Feyenoord thing from when they had a good shot at KOing us from the CL (when Bellamy scored that injury time winner)? They're good at making banners mind, very "artsy" the mackems eh. You nailed it tbh, they really do have this ingrained obsession with trying to make friends and claim links to other clubs fan bases. I'm not arsed in the slightest tbh. I have noticed Feyenoord ones at mackem games in the past mind, it has to be that they're near the Shields ferry and are still huffy we beat them so pick a far smaller club than themselves to root for. They all come across with their Tim Krul bowl haircuts and Tim Krul dress sense and pick any seat they want at the SOL, it'd be too much planning to get toon tickets.
  19. Aye I agree, they were very hesitant to attack the ball at times. One incident in particular was where Anita put in a cracking ball and Gouffran bottled it seeing the goalie coming, if he'd flung himself at it he probably could have directed it at goal instead he jumped back from the play.
  20. Ouch, didn't know they'd played so few of the top teams away. They're fucked tbh, was it West Brom that survived relegation having been bottom at Xmas? be interesting to see what their last 19 fixtures were like compared to the mackems. Oh and HMHM is spot on about the wanting to fit in with other fans thing, when a lad that supports another club comes on here and is canny he's accepted and normally stuff like "your areet for a scouse/brummy/cockney" is said, if it happens on there there is an almighty arse licking of that club "I've always loved Hayes and Yeading, always been a top club full of the best people in the world", bunch of fucking whoppers man.
  21. This, I think Pardew rightly feared the now common dry bumming from Walcott so he rightly wanted the play to be more condensed and tighter so when we moved up the field the whole team had to be moving to ensure we didn't get caught with a Williamson v Walcott footrace. Our successful pressure towards the end was massively helped by Arsenal dropping deep to hold out, if we played that expansively from the start we'd have been ripped apart like you say. Playing expansively would have meant a fresh Cazorla/Wilshere would have found large gaps to thread passes through to Walcott, rather than trying to force the ball like they had to early on. Pardew played it well tbh, the only thing that went wrong for him and was completely out of his hands was the poor play of our forwards. If Remy, Gouffran and Sissoko had been as effective as they have been for most the season the praise for Pardew would be unanimous, unfortunately for him and us they looked very leggy and played poorly.
  22. To be fair Rayvin is right, we normally do canny against them tbh so in that case I'm okay with them staying up. As long as the mackems go down I'll be happy with the relegated teams this year.
  23. Aye agreed on Sissoko looking tired. It's be good to see Ben Arfa get a run I think he'd be effective against West Brom for sure.
