I laugh every time I see Pardew say we dug in, I thought Arsenal were pretty pedestrian and still won 3-0 if they had played a blinder or had Walcott playing it'd have been 6-0. Aye the set up has worked really well in the past, I think it helps that Atletico are brilliant defensively and very patient as well so they weren't able to catch them on the break like they have with teams in the past. Aye, I think if he beats Cardiff he has no worries at all. Even if he loses to Cardiff there's a good chance he keeps his job, if the top 10 thing is right being out of it would seem the only way he'd lose his job now. More shite from the idiot, I read it on BBC and started reading the comments section. It's full of Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool "fans" slagging us to pieces, the oddest thing is they all seem to be defending Pardew saying we should be happy with survival as it's all we deserve. Stuff like this is odd imo as I don't see how anyone (besides what I'm assuming are glory hunters who know fuck all) could look at us and think all we deserve as a club is to avoid relegation, I'm not saying we have a right to win trophies or anything but we're only asking to try and fucking compete for some.
