Agree with your post there Fish, I'm just glad the team got through without any injuries the way the Hondurans were flying in. We were starting to really gain a foothold in the game but then there was that break in play and Honduras come out kicking our lot up a height. I'd have been half tempted to have them walk off if I was Roy as they kept it up in the 2nd half too, hopefully thats the last time we play them in a friendly. I was disappointed we didnt win either game and the low amount of shots on target is worrying, too much faffing around on the edge of the box.
-
Aye dull as owt that match, just glad it ended without an England player being stretchered off the way the Hondurans were hoying themselves into tackles.
-
I'm personally looking forward to seeing how Chiles assess this 20 odd minutes.
-
I liked when he asked the referee if the storm moves on in this area, no Adrian it just stays there forever. Hoddle looked like he wanted to headbutt him, can't blame him mind imagine being in a humid as fuck concourse with Chiles talking for 30 minutes.

Calm it down a bit there Aimaad, getting a bit carried away there.
-
He's went there on loan, since New York City FC doesn't actually play any games until 2015.

8m for Ross McCormack surely we wouldn't fork out that much for him, I saw us linked to Danny Ings and if it's out of them two I'd far rather go for Ings as he's about 7 years younger and iirc scored more last season. Either way 8m for a championship level striker surely we could find better then that for that sort of money.
-
Stop being so negative man Aimaad, we can come 10th have some ambition!
-
I hope its New York City, Shola and David Villa up front together.
-
Barkley was really good, Milner at right back was a failure and Smalling shouldn't be there.
-
Aye the mackems wanted to keep Colback. He's a decent player, big upgrade on Gosling. If he's brought in as a Cabaye replacement then it's a problem but as a replacement for Gosling it's a good move.
-
Only if it's about signing a good player, if it's a shit player then it's bullshit.

That Charlie Hunnam is a pretty shite actor tbh. Constantly walks about like he's shit his pants while giving it full on Danny Dyer arms as well. I packed in watching it as I got so tired of the refusal of any of them to do anything about Ron Perlmans character (although I feel this has more to do with the writers knowing the show would have nowt without him).

The life he has had man. He'll be struggling to fly his hat collection out there mind.

Ive got it deaders, I think its fine similar to GTA 5 graphics really. I've never played on PS4 and dont have a good pc for gaming so I'm used to the ps3 graphics. Im sure if one of the lads used to the ps4 saw it they'd think it looked shite but I think it looks fine. The only real downside I've noticed is the draw distance, it makes the car chases a pain at times as you can't see too far ahead for the hackable things.

Just had seen others putting it.

I remember reading in an article a while back that Taylor is one of the highest paid at the club which probably puts him on around 40-50k a week, meanwhile we're actively trying to offload M'Biwa.

"and so I says to 'im caam on you frog caaaht, £7,000,001 hows that grab yaa? and he goes we wants £12m, I goes £12m caaam off it you wonky caaahnt your aavin a bubble bath if you think ahhm aaaavin that, hope your talking them francs on that 12 miww and not quid, who you fink we are, we're not faaackin norfaamtaaahn taaahn we don't aaav that wonga. Goin to put in a offaaa of £7,000,002 and he'll be all owwwvaaa it"
-
Aye, and I'm canny sure Montpellier aren't exactly big fans of the way they conduct themselves after the M'biwa deal. What a shambles man.
-
I honestly don't know what they expect. They've put us in a position where we're desperate for players, other clubs know we're desperate for players and are then surprised people keep wanting more money for their players.
-
Obviously Obertan and Marveaux wont be misses, Ben Arfa while sad is to be expected with the way Pardew has been treating him. I'm mostly bothered by them wanting rid of M'Biwa, the lads barely been given a chance and there's obviously talent there, I always saw him as the long term solution to Colo as our ball playing centre half. Again our transfer policies are confusing if this is true, the bloke hasn't played many games and a lot of them have been out of position, his value will have surely decreased. Thinking about my point yesterday, I think I was trying to say I'd like to see us chase players that would fit Pardew's system better rather than just talented players in general, I've no real clue what the blokes system is as it's a bit of a mess but whatever it is if we're sticking with him those should be the type of players targeted. The more talented the better obviously but we should aim for talents that fit in more with Pardew's style. This M'biwa mess is an example, obviously a talented lad but Pardew has no clue how to use him properly, he clearly prefers a Williamson type which makes it all the more frustrating we didn't chase Douglas who by all accounts is that sort of player but obviously better than Williamson. Again all hypothetical but it just worries me that we're sticking with this bloke and targeting anyone that looks like they may go on to be a talented player and increase in value regardless of the system they fit best.
-
I guess they're not, but they need help and coaching to get comfortable in this league which Pardew and his staff haven't really provided. Maybe they wouldn't be as effective as Sissoko at his best no, but they'd possiblly keep a more consistent standard due to comfort in the league and Pardew being more receptive to them. You're right though it's all hypothetical tbh, I'm more worried about the links with players like Perez really as I really have zero confidence in Pardew bringing through a 20 year old Spanish lad. Agreed on the discussion and that's my bad for starting it, I'm just so disillusioned by Pardew tbh. I just was on a bit of a thought process that perhaps if we aimed to buy more players that would suit Pardews 'style' (whatever that is) we could be more effective then we were in the 2nd half of last season. I'm probably wrong but I just worry that buying these talented 'on the deck' lads is a bit of a waste as they clearly don't suit his style or seem to like him much (a leap I know but just going off Debuchy's supposed comments and some of their body language), and perhaps it would be better bringing in the type of player Pardew is more used too. I think I'm just bored with us at the moment tbh Aimaad, I used to like the quiet style we went about business but it's just boring nowadays, especially as we fear a lack of signings thanks the the previous 3 windows.

Aye that's exactly what I'm saying. We had 33 points when we played Cardiff at the beginning of January and more by the end of January, Norwich had 33 so we'd have been safe with our points tally by January. I've already said Cabaye is a separate point, if we could bring in lads like Cabaye and Debuchy who are basically finished products then of course they'd work well. I'm just meaning that these developmental players we look at are pointless, as Pardew can't develop them. Sissoko is clearly a talent, we've seen it on numerous occasions but he's not kicking on because Pardew is playing him on the wing and dicking him about. I get your point about rather have good players who are badly coached, but the problem is you get bad situations that develop like we're seeing now with Debuchy having a bit moan about Pardew and players looking despondent and frustrated and playing far below their level. My point is a bit unclear and I apologise because I don't know the solution, I'm not some nationalist nutjob who wants English players over these bloody foreigners I just feel they suit Pardew more and he is able to better work with them. On the balance of the 2nd half of the season it's fair to say we're a risk for relegation, I don't think having a Colback is a bad thing at all, the lad is a decent midfielder. I know he's not what we all want to watch but I just think Pardew will get more out of him then he's capable of getting out of an Anita, Anita may have more ability and a brighter future in the game but Pardew can't do much with it. Of course I'd rather watch lads like Sissoko and Anita, but the thing is we're not getting the performances out of them often enough. The blame predominantly lies with Pardew and I'm just meaning these more developmental sort of players are pointless to bring in under this nob. If we can get a Cabaye or a Debuchy, then bring him in for sure I love watching those lads play, but unfortunately we can't develop players and it's a waste of time for them and us to bring them to the club. We're better off buying average premier league players than buying those developing players.
-
What would have changed? we were safe from January in all reality, and it's not like Cisse scored many goals last season. We can keep buying players like that and having their performances decrease over time after an initial period of good play but it's not exactly sustainable is it? He'd get more out of lads like Colback, I'm not trying to completely ditch buying talented players, and if you are reading my posts as an attack on those type of players it's not. I can just see the point in bringing in types of players like Colback. He's a massive improvement on shite like Gosling, he'd play well under Pardew imo the same as Perch played at a good level. I want nothing more than to watch players like Cabaye, Debuchy, Sissoko etc playing for Newcastle and playing in a system that suits them but that's not happening under Pardew. Eventually it does become a waste buying them under this bloke, as they're not appreciating in value or getting better, only really Cabaye has done that, Debuchy possibly but he seems to have more just maintained and proven that he can do it in a better league than improved much. Edit: And in what way am I saying someone like Noble would be better then Cabaye? Cabaye is class, he's going to be a rarity under Pardew not the norm. He'd get more out of Noble then he gets out of Anita or Sissoko, again not because Noble is better then either but because Pardew cannot coach them and doesn't have good enough tactical knowledge to make use of Anita and Sissoko's talents.
