Agree with Chez, I think they'd have set him a goal and he come in 1.5kg over that. I'm sure he's fat as fuck, I love watching him when he's on form but the fact is he's badly out of shape and probably cant be arsed to get into shape. Whatever reason you want to attribute to it, Pardew and him falling out, Pardew being a jeb end, losing motivation, being lazy etc it's just depressing that there's a real player in there and we'll most definitely never see that player properly again for us.

Finally got round to watching Derek a couple of week ago, thought it was class. Shame Karl Pilkington wasn't on the later episodes but they recovered well by having Kevin in it more. Was very surprised by it and how clever it was at times.

My lass watched that a few month ago, what a total pile of shite it was. The lasses were something to look at, but Francos acting and accent was shambolic. I banned her from picking movies for 3 month after that nightmare pick.

10 goals in 30 appearances last season, 19 of them starts not fantastic but not terrible. I've only seen him play twice tbh so going to reserve judgement until I see him more. Glad to see we're moving for strikers though, with the talk of him being one to develop (something we're not great at I know) it gives me hope we'll pick up another more experienced lad in all.

Aye nail on the head there DK, the fact they seem to be holding off on the sale of Debuchy until they have Janmaat in is very positive and gives me hope they've learnt from the Cabaye sale. Of course they're still a bunch of cunts and aye he is looking to turn a profit but I'd rather not think about when De Jong, Cabella and Janmaat (provided he signs) will be leaving when they've just walked in the door. At the very least we have some lads that will be worth watching.

Aye I agree if we're sitting round mid table he's pretty safe in the job, but I do think they want him to improve players so they can turn a profit on them so if anything that might put his job in jeopardy.
