It's fucking ludicrous, walking out at home and going down 0-1 after 30 seconds total and utter disgrace. This team is utter wank, I know some will point to needing to gel etc but the back 4 is pretty much unchanged and it looks like 4 blokes from the pub hoyed together to play against professionals. The defence cant hold on to slim leads and we're not good enough to build anything more than a slim lead, massively worrying especially with this utter mug in charge. Early I know but it's shaping up to be a long shite season scrapping with the bilge of the Premiership, Fanks Mike.

So can they switch targets to their back up plan now? They had a list of strikers that they've been watching for all the years they've not bothered buying one right? 2 signings scouted and lined up for each position is what they used to claim isn't it?

But he wont ever look like he did that first 6 months man, it was a mental purple patch. I hope he can come round to being a serviceable premier league striker, that would chip in with 15 or so goals but in all honesty it hasn't looked likely for whatever reason it is.

Make your mind up winnet lips, this is going to get even better the longer and longer they wait for King Rodwell to be called up. They'll all be commenting on the England game that they say the're not going to watch.

Fucking brilliant, this transfer really has been the gift that keeps on giving. A free player that is a step up from Gosling and pissed the mackems off, and now this! Congrats to Jack, moving to a proper football club has gotten him the recognition. No idea how the mackems haven't cottoned on to the fact that Cattermole is fucking shit by now.

Fully agree, the times he has really looked poor is when he has tried to take too much on (normally when Cabaye was injured), most of the time he keeps it simple and just moves the ball onto someone else after breaking up play. He does make mistakes but I think he gets dealt a bad hand many times with other players failing to cover or make themselves open, like you say Tiote always shows for it even when he is having a bad game. We're a far far weaker team defensively without him, he'd be a tough one to replace for us and I'd really fear that they'd just put Anita in there.

Spot on. I have no faith in Pardew or his tactics to turn around a slump that goes back far into last season, new players I know but the problem is Pardew is basically going to be relying on pieces of individual brilliance from Cabella, De Jong and Sissoko rather than a working system. Riviere looks like a lad who wants a strike partner tbh, he's big, powerful and brave in the air but he hasn't appeared to be thriving in his isolated role in the albeit small sample of games so far, De Jong will probably come in and help him a bit in that respect but it'd be better if there was a pure finisher like Ba alongside him. I don't have much fear of us getting relegated really, I think we'll grind out enough close results to keep us in and around mid table and it'll be as enthralling as it sounds.

Is that you posting that on their forum CSD? If it is I love the "mag mate sent me this" really helps sell the post to them. They've been comparing the two since they signed the fucker and are now moaning about a comparison between the two because it's unfavourable for them. Colback is a serviceable player, and from what I've seen of Rodwell he's not much better, certainly not to the degree that they're making it out to be.

Agreed, not sure he should have used this formation when he doesn't really have the players available yet to play it. Ashley Young playing left wing back and that Tylet Blackett lad being on the pitch. Proper snoozefest this like.

Class of 92 (not really a film I know) was canny stuff especially the Scholes bits. American hustle, canny movie adams and lawrence made it even better, I then watched transcendance and monuments men which were both utter shite.

Aye that was just before I boarded my flight today so was a bit cranky. Seeing the result upon landing has done little to lift my mood, bunch of bastards.

Not for 20m like, he's a ok enough player in the awkwardness he causes defences at times but like many have said 20m is laughable.
