Isak has 3 goals in 5 games iirc, not even including a perfectly fine goal against Liverpool being chalked off. Dyer also said Wilson does more outside of goals than Isak, which also shows he clearly doesn’t fucking watch as Wilson’s main issue for me is he often isn’t involved outside of goals whereas Isak is everywhere everytime I’ve seen him.

Shame for Wilson that he’s hurt but it’s good that Isak starts, I honestly think the front three that started last match needed a change so glad to see Isak in there. Would have preferred to see Gordon start over either Almiron or ASM as they were both poor but hopefully they’re both much improved today as Bournemouth ship goals for fun. Wilson with a knock is troubling mind, I’ve thought for a while that he’s one of those players who needs to feel 100% or they think they’re injured (Klopp once said it about Sturridge). Aye, agree with all of Andrew and KCG’s points too. If fair play was the actual intention of these rules it wouldn’t be fucking tied to individual club P&L over the prior few years and things like that, those metrics literally entrench inequalities which creates a system where clubs then have to either bend rules, or outperform for a number of years to overcome. It’s very purely meant to lock in the clubs that were up there at the time the rules were put into place, those clubs of course got there by having the most money and spending the most money in the years leading up to that ruling. It’s why I find all the incredulous and sensationalist headlines about Man City to be fucking tedious. They’re portrayed as bad guys but then you have Liverpool and Manchester United both with American owners being sponsored for every fucking item of the businesses down to official match day bus tyre sponsor and shite like that, often from American company’s, and we’re all told it’s all above board give over man.

Agreed, this one is off the back of Man City beating the prior charges in CAS isn’t it? I think it’s been ongoing for 4-5 years and had the knowledge from the case to build off, I’d imagine this is a pretty strong and damning case they’ve built. What I’m interested in is how a lot of these charges relate to periods post Man City establishing themselves, so it’s interesting to see how they had such egregious rule breaks but similar spending Manchester United and Chelsea as yet have nothing.

If we get CL it was always going to be close, also agree with KCG that it would just be a massive bonus really. It would speed up our whole project by years if we got into the CL but we’re still massively improved if not and would likely still have European games.

The problem is clear and simple. We’ve not won a league game this season that Bruno hasn’t played in, in the four he’s missed we’ve had 3 draws and a loss. I’m singling out ASM because it’s glaring how uninterested he is in helping the team, as I say there’s others that played poorly but they were trying. Last I will say on it, it’s simply time he went. Oh aye and that post by long time admirer is probably the worst one I’ve seen, Gordon was head and shoulders above ASM when he come on it’s not even debatable.
