  1. Aye, the bloke doesn't have the best touch or link up play but he's a good finisher and has won us a lot of points after Perez's goal run dried up. I don't understand why anyone would want to see the back of him tbh, unless we brought in an improvement but even then I'd still prefer he stayed as like TRS pointed out we're hardly brimming with talent up front. Fully agree with the points that Krul and Cisse are some of our best players, Krul hasn't looked as quality as he has in the past but look at the clip of the defence in front of him ffs and he has had a few bad injuries. He's still a massive step up from Rob Eliot. The only benefit for selling these players is for Ashley to cash in while they would still have a decent price tag, no upside for the fans. We made a good profit this year so there should be no reason for us to have to see Cisse and Krul to buy players, it just leads to further stagnation anyway, selling them and trying to bring in slight improvements still means we have to hope they perform and leaves them playing alongside nob-cheese like Williamson.
  2. Aye, the negative press he gets always includes something about his company as well. So it always gets a mention. It hasn't even put the majority of Newcastle fans off shopping there let alone fans of othe teams that don't give a fuck about or dislike Newcastle. His company has grown a considerable amout during his ownership of Newcastle and he is richer, the free advertising he gets definately helps.

    Loyalty

Aye, spot on. Good dole explanation as well, if Phil Thompson said that on telly they might understand the situation. It's also interesting to see the contrast with Barkley pushing for a move to a bigger club as well, it's being seen and handled in the way it usually is a collective shrug from the media saying of course he want to do that while they speculate where he will end up.
  4. Pretty tame for Brazillian football mind

    Loyalty

Aye I don't blame players for pushing for more money either tbh. If you're happy with your lot then I think that's another reason to stay, which is what I think Jonas stayed for after we went down and yet despite showing loyalty the club were horrific during one of the most difficult periods of his life. I think Sterling is getting pelters simply because it's Liverpool, they were all fine with numerous of our players talking about Arsenal, PSG etc, west brom players moaning but now it's Liverpool they think it's a disgrace. I don't think Sterling is being greedy either, I think he's comfortable knowing he will get mental money anywhere he goes but wants to be at a club that will win silverware. I hope he goes off and signs for one of the clubs that are challenging for titles for less than the 100k just to sicken them further. He's a Jamaican raised in London, he didn't move to Liverpool until he was about 15 or 16 anyway so no idea where they get off with this betrayal or he owes us business.
  6. I went to the Sunderland fly past as a kid. Had to take the bus with my grandparents as my dad refused to take me to it. I fully understood why within 3 minutes of getting off the bus. It was fucking shite. I got a snidey version of a transformers toy when I was there so it wasn't all bad I suppose.
  7. Moved on from his mackem obsession to being aggravated by black people wanting equality, all he needs is some acid washed jeans and he may as well be from pennywell.
  8. I'd say it was an April fools but I don't put it past a Mackem to actual believe all that shite. They need to pack in calling it the Sunderland Air show as well, the Sunderland fly-past would be much more apt since iirc the planes land and take off in Newcastle. Claiming shite concerts at the Stadium of Plight as well ffs, that's just a revenue booster and not some amazing thing you can claim to be better at ffs, they can fucking keep Gary Barlow and co in all. It's all okay anyway lads if Johnson is found guilty you'll have been playing a nonce for half a season, nee moral high ground after that. edit: Also don't competitive swimmers always moan about that aquatics centre? iirc there was all sorts of problems with the fact it's basically in the middle of an industrial estate so it's fucking boring unless they're swimming. Like comparing Kabul to London this man.
  9. Shows how ridiculous Chelsea are with players that fucking good having to move away to get games. Was always shocked they got rid of De Bruyne mind, now City are linked with him for mental money. Werrn't we linked with that Bas Dost mentioned in the article at some point? Another one Ashley didn't pull the trigger on like Bony iirc.
  10. Aye spot on. I did have a look on that link TP posted and saw at least one had the cheek to call us pish, I know we are but we're fucking Real Madrid compared to these bottom feeders.
  11. Hit the tanning beds in Walkergate. Why cant this fella spell Nolberto?
  12. Aye. The way some media outlets and people are going on about Pardew it's as if they have forgetten he was here for 4 fucking year, we got his full range and know what he's like. Pardew would have walked off to Palace regardless of fan backing or pressure tbh, he's went back to London and will be on more money. I'm still glad he's gone.
  13. Total bunch of fucking cunts. Not that we didn't already know it but to hear it outright from Jonas is sickening tbh and iirc they kept denying it as well didn't they? He's also better than a fair few of the current squad (Gouffran in particular).
  14. Aye he is and he is a part of it.
  15. I'm still glad he's gone. They can keep enjoying him, hopefully they get to suffer the cunt as long as we had too.
  16. It just makes no sense, I get the "he's the cheap option" argument but ultimately it's going to end in relegation or a bunch of panic buys every January to try and narrowly avoid it. Just when we're finishing paying off the fat cunt for the last relegation debacle we're being put in a position where there's a chance he might do something that will clearly increase future relegation possibilities.
  17. Would be class mind, talk sport exclusive "wheyy I didn't think he meant me man Collymore mate"
  18. It's also yet another indication Carver isn't fit for the job, basically coming out and calling the players shite with 9 games to go isn't the best plan. Especially considering he's the most useless cunt of all.
  19. Hopefully the bulk of the clear out is Carver and the rest of the pathetically shit coaching staff the club employs.
