  1. Aye, to be fair Burn has been really good there defensively and Targett has looked ropey whenever he’s been given a chance this season (albeit he’s not had loads). I’d maybe sub Targett on for him but I don’t want Burn dropped by any stretch yet.
  2. Agree to disagree I suppose. I don’t see how a draw is seen as an egregious result from that half, we were poor and I gave Bournemouth credit but at the same time I don’t think they particularly deserved to be ahead - a draw to me was a fair reflection of the half.
  3. Think that’s giving them a lot of credit. It was a decent counter attacking performance but I don’t think they particularly deserved to be in the lead, same shots and shots on target for both teams, similar sloppiness on the ball imo.
  4. His crossing is shocking, he played a neck height ball to Gordon who was at the back post before . He deserves credit for the lead up to the goal but he was parp for most the game (along with everyone else), including a nightmare of a back pass to Botman that could have been a real issue at one point.
  5. I’ll add I don’t think Bournemouth deserved to be ahead, so while we were poor I think a draw is a fair result for that half. Hopefully we wake up a bit now and ramp up the intensity.
  6. We look so flat, every ball or pass catches us by surprise and no urgency. It’s weird considering what we’ve been like for most the rest of the season.
  7. Btw, this is already a good example of how absurd the whole “time waster” tag we’ve been given is, Bournemouth have already spent maybe 1 minute out of 3 on two throw ins and a goal kick everyone is at it ffs.
  8. Isak has 3 goals in 5 games iirc, not even including a perfectly fine goal against Liverpool being chalked off. Dyer also said Wilson does more outside of goals than Isak, which also shows he clearly doesn’t fucking watch as Wilson’s main issue for me is he often isn’t involved outside of goals whereas Isak is everywhere everytime I’ve seen him.
  9. Shame for Wilson that he’s hurt but it’s good that Isak starts, I honestly think the front three that started last match needed a change so glad to see Isak in there. Would have preferred to see Gordon start over either Almiron or ASM as they were both poor but hopefully they’re both much improved today as Bournemouth ship goals for fun. Wilson with a knock is troubling mind, I’ve thought for a while that he’s one of those players who needs to feel 100% or they think they’re injured (Klopp once said it about Sturridge). Hopefully we can figure out another striker in summer as he’s not someone we can rely on.
  10. Aye, defensive counter attacking football despite dominating possession almost every week. They should stick to sniffing glue and other local past times and leave football for people that understand it.
  11. “as expected” we’re three points off third with a game in hand, behind the well oiled machine that is Manchester United (according to the media) who have managed 8 points from their last 5 games is the slipping NUFC who have managed 7 points from their last 5 including zero losses.
  12. Bally, Phillippsy, and Quinny. I don’t think Reid is particularly a fan of them given the treatment he got.
  13. Tbf the concept that a former player holds the club he left in any type of regard is a baffling prospect seeing as pretty much every manager or player that leaves them ends up fucking hating them.
  14. Hopefully Adidas are our next kit maker, this is apparently Scotlands next kit.
  15. Also it’s fucking immense that because they lost to them “they’re at the top end of the premeeeyah leeyyuggg for a reyyysuhn”, is that the same Fulham that Newcastle brushed aside twice and are 8 points behind Newcastle with an extra game played? I thought the Premier League was easy as everyone was shit.
  16. They really are a unique breed. Just mountains of posts of their scumbaggery celebrated or discussed on there such as how their fans can’t stop littering, how they cheer for and idolize nonces, how their fan base are absolutely nails and chin everyone, and many other examples THEY bring up of their fans being a bunch of classless, scummy cunts, but then out of nowhere they’ll start a thread about how they’re the classiest fan base ever and everyone loves them. Like honestly man, only they could turn the cack filled fountain orgy which disgusted anyone that heard/saw it that was the Trafalgar Square incident into some point of pride that they’ve decided on its own is reason we shouldn’t be arsed about getting to a cup final.
  17. It’s between new year and summer wedding seeeeysons, so the marras are all saving/planning.
  18. It’ll help FFP though, since you can add back infrastructure and stadium improvements, and as we all know these big building projects tend to go way over on budget.
  19. I don’t get why the mackems would be so excited, so we will be competing with Manchester United the club that have spent basically the same as Man City and Chelsea over the last decade? There’s a fucking shock .
