  1. Aye, he should apologise and give the club away the giant fucking winnet.
  2. Are Sunderland actually going to pull off the being shit all season, sacking your manager just in time to win the derby and escape relegation yet again is that 3 or 4 times now?
  3. Here they come lads!
  4. I'd swap fight for professionalism and ability. He's a fan in charge, a thick one at that. If anyone ever tells you that there's limits on your dreams just point to John.
  5. I honestly reckon if we appointed a random Mackem who hates us they wouldn't be able to do a job this bad. In 3 month he has fell out with the entire playing staff, seems like the coaching staff too and lost basically every single game.
  6. Aye, we've been a laughing stock for years. The amount of embarrassments we have suffered during Pardews tenure (part of the reason our GD is such a disaster) have numbed me to this. Like I say I still get to watch footy every week, I don't lose millions while watching an asset that I purchased for 137m become a much lower priced one. It's not like we're winning or even attempting to win any silverware and the players we have brought in recently have been of a similar level to what we'd get in the Championship anyway. Who fucking cares really? He has absolutely no one but himself to blame as well because we were comfortable in January and everyone said keep Carver would be a mistake. We should have rid ourselves of Pardew last summer anyway instead of waiting for him to walk, but again it's more penny pinching.
  7. Imagine if Boro come up and we go down man.
  8. Utterly incredible this, totally down to penny pinching from our dick head owner. It's taken him years to get us profitable and he's thrown it all away by being as cheap as he can possibly be. All he had to do was not sell anyone and bring in a couple of loans or buys in January and appoint a football manager to replace Pardew, 8-10m total maybe, instead he made himself a bit more profit and got himself a no extra cost alternative to replace Pardew. It's going to cost him a fucking fortune in the long run, we also are in such a weakened state that we're going to seriously struggle down there this time. It's also going to be hard to attract a manager down there, in the Prem I had no fear as the Prem attracts people alone but a side in the Championship with a penny pinching cunt as owner? a whole lot less interesting. I'm at the point where I'm almost welcoming this relegation and I hope it costs this fat prick a fucking fortune, I still get to watch football every week, it's not like we're attempting to compete in the premiership anyway and the players are of championship standard so it makes very little difference to me.
  9. This means it's no longer in our hands right? this is incredible. Edit: No Leicester have a point less on same games with a better GD, so technically it's just about in our hands still. This is sickening.
  10. Soton down to 10 men, mackem penalty fuck me
  11. "I had a few choice words with Mike at half time, the player was off the pitch the ball was off the pitch and I have to be honest with you I think he got sent off on purpose" I'm sure those choice words were motivational It's like a pub team manager ffs, it's absolutely incredible, he's flat out came out and questioned one of the few defenders left at the clubs professionalism. I also get the feeling Williamson is possibly well liked by other players as he's been here for yonks, so I'm sure him being abused by an angry charver then being called out publicly is going to rally the lads further to John's cause. This could be the worst managerial appointment ever.
  12. Aye it's pretty incredible when you think a bloke like Williamson will love who's in charge simply by the fact they're allowing him to play Premiership football!
  13. My mate put 40 quid on it at 80/1 the prick. Nice 3k windfall for him.
  14. Brilliant, it really is a wonder that it has taken him this long to get a decent run at being a manager the way he seamlessly handles the press and tactics.
  15. Changed my vote btw, big step. We're fucked and I now fully expect us to be overtaken by everyone as they are actually showing some fight whereas our lot are intentionally being sent off.
  16. On 2nd May 1992, Newcastle United travelled to Leicester City's old Filbert Street ground in desperate need of a win to guarantee safety in the second tier of English football. Gavin Peacock (pictured) opened the scoring in the first half, only for United to concede an equaliser with just minutes remaining. There was still time, however, for the Magpies to hit back, which they duly did as Peacock forced an injury-time own goal from Steve Walsh. United had secured a 2-1 win to avoid relegation That was just posted to the clubs Facebook are they actually serious? or completely taking the piss out of us, absolutely incredible that they would post something like that. Reminding us of the Keegan turnaround on a day like today ffs, especially with Leicester being a common opponent.
  17. The scary thing is they can score, this is one of the best defences in the league they're against and we cant score against Leicester.
  18. It's bizarre all round as I can't remember many getting on Cabella's back too much, the lad has hardly had a chance to settle as he keeps getting subbed off or sat on the bench, and he's always the first dropped after a bad performance.
  19. I think they should try and get someone else but then try Beardsley as a last resort. He might have some respect from the players which is a bump up from Carver. The club needs a complete clear out tbh but I've no doubt we wont see one.
  20. Aye I think you're right. The thing with Carver is everyone can see he's an utter shit coach, the additional thing is he spent his playing career at Gateshead so he was also a shit footballer, how can he hope to gain any sort of respect? at least Beardsley was an immense footballer, they can always shrug Carver off as he wasn't fit to lace any of their boots and shows no intelligence as a coach. I've just never seen it go this far where everyone knows clearly how bad he is and the level he has lost the locker room, I mean he's literally coming out in the press repeatedly saying the players are shit and the players are actively seeking to get sent off. It's a really incredible situation.
  21. To be honest I couldn't give a fuck about any of them leaving, they've all shown themselves to be cowards who can't be arsed. Janmaat was the last one I'd have been somewhat bothered about losing but tbh what he did today was ridiculous and he showed he simply doesn't want to play, I understand Carver is a prick but you're a professional ffs. I honestly feel similar about this squad as I did the last relegation lot, no interest in any of the players as they show little interest in our club.
  22. Carver has to go tonight, if he is still in charge by Monday I'm even more confused by what Ashley wants. We can't possibly get any worse than we are now so I see nothing but possible upside in chucking him. You can't even keep him on as a coach now man, who the fuck would listen to him?
  23. With Iron Mike the leader. "Too much Iron, not enough Steel, or Vardy" - Danny Mills ex-England international.
