  1. Changed my vote btw, big step. We're fucked and I now fully expect us to be overtaken by everyone as they are actually showing some fight whereas our lot are intentionally being sent off.
  2. On 2nd May 1992, Newcastle United travelled to Leicester City's old Filbert Street ground in desperate need of a win to guarantee safety in the second tier of English football. Gavin Peacock (pictured) opened the scoring in the first half, only for United to concede an equaliser with just minutes remaining. There was still time, however, for the Magpies to hit back, which they duly did as Peacock forced an injury-time own goal from Steve Walsh. United had secured a 2-1 win to avoid relegation That was just posted to the clubs Facebook are they actually serious? or completely taking the piss out of us, absolutely incredible that they would post something like that. Reminding us of the Keegan turnaround on a day like today ffs, especially with Leicester being a common opponent.
  3. The scary thing is they can score, this is one of the best defences in the league they're against and we cant score against Leicester.
  4. It's bizarre all round as I can't remember many getting on Cabella's back too much, the lad has hardly had a chance to settle as he keeps getting subbed off or sat on the bench, and he's always the first dropped after a bad performance.
  5. I think they should try and get someone else but then try Beardsley as a last resort. He might have some respect from the players which is a bump up from Carver. The club needs a complete clear out tbh but I've no doubt we wont see one.
  6. Aye I think you're right. The thing with Carver is everyone can see he's an utter shit coach, the additional thing is he spent his playing career at Gateshead so he was also a shit footballer, how can he hope to gain any sort of respect? at least Beardsley was an immense footballer, they can always shrug Carver off as he wasn't fit to lace any of their boots and shows no intelligence as a coach. I've just never seen it go this far where everyone knows clearly how bad he is and the level he has lost the locker room, I mean he's literally coming out in the press repeatedly saying the players are shit and the players are actively seeking to get sent off. It's a really incredible situation.
  7. To be honest I couldn't give a fuck about any of them leaving, they've all shown themselves to be cowards who can't be arsed. Janmaat was the last one I'd have been somewhat bothered about losing but tbh what he did today was ridiculous and he showed he simply doesn't want to play, I understand Carver is a prick but you're a professional ffs. I honestly feel similar about this squad as I did the last relegation lot, no interest in any of the players as they show little interest in our club.
  8. Carver has to go tonight, if he is still in charge by Monday I'm even more confused by what Ashley wants. We can't possibly get any worse than we are now so I see nothing but possible upside in chucking him. You can't even keep him on as a coach now man, who the fuck would listen to him?
  9. With Iron Mike the leader. "Too much Iron, not enough Steel, or Vardy" - Danny Mills ex-England international.
  10. Adam Johnson to score a last minute winner to completely turn the tide.
  11. Bloody hell, he was possibly the worst I've heard!
  12. Has to happen, this bloke cannot stay in charge it's completely unfathomable to keep him in charge. We've just watched not one, but two players intentionally get themselves sent off. I've never seen a bloke lose a locker room to this degree before as normally they're sacked by this point.
  13. Well that massively increased our chances, we have a worse GD than Sunderland now so they only need 5 points.
  14. That's going to be fantastic television. Sunderland aren't going to need 6 points at this rate, they'll close the GD gap in all. In fact aye we now have a worse goal difference than Sunderland, they only need 5 points now.
  15. The glare from Carver there, little to no doubt he'll offer Janmaat out for a fight pushing possibly our best player further towards the exit door. This bloke is wrecking untold damage not only to this season but to future ones, this could be Mikes best decision yet.
  16. Polio victims up front. Nine men get in, Janmaat throwing the towel in as well, captain material for sure. West Brom is going to be a barn stormer. Do we have enough defenders btw? who the fuck is going to play?
  17. Best player in the world you're insulting there. Seriously though I've never heard commentators wax lyrical so much about a totally shit player, never has it crossed their minds that he's playing the worst team in the league.
  18. I'm glad Armstrong come on like this co-commentator wanted. Even happier we kept Riviere on and took Perez off to accommodate him. Can we just push Cisse on in a wheelchair or something.
  19. Some staggering stats just reeled off there. 16 losses in 22 games, that includes you Alan!
  20. Wonder how many niggling injuries will crop up before next game, Iron lungs will no doubt pull a muscle.
  21. Aye, there's absolutely no benefit in letting Carver guide us to 11 successive losses. I just want to see a massive brawl, the ref not knowing what's going on until he realizes all our players are kicking Carver in on the side of the pitch. Tbh I'm sort of hoping he says something somewhat racist in anger at one of our players, which I don't think is beyond him, and the FA take the decision out of big Mike's hands.
  22. Aye, I've no clue who it is. He's dreadful, keeps yelling about how ridiculous it is De Jong is on while saying we should put a shite youth player on and we need people that will roll their sleeves up like James Vardy, well aye we do that's why we've lost 8 in a row you twonk, we'd not be in this mess if we had players who give a chuff.
  23. Armstrong is the next James Vardy, coming straight from whoever the fuck this co-commentator is.
