  1. This. I think either way Charnley's gone as Ashley loves a scapegoat to deflect attention off the one constant over the 8 years of errors. I'm worried like DK that if we go down he might chance Carver mind, I think if we stay up he's gone though, I dont even think he'll keep a coaching job now. Club ringpiece Ryder will be cranking out articles about how Mike is being ruthless to avoid future disasters, he'll now appoint blokes that really know football and he wants the club to compete not just survive.
  2. What a fucking shambles, that's what we needed right now this useless cunt settling comfortably into the management seat. No wonder he come out saying he's the top coach in the Prem, I fully expect he walked into that meeting with Lee with his shoulders slouched and left with his chest further out than Stevie Teeeeeeeeeeee. I just imagine it went like when Michael in the American version of The Office tried to fire Creed.
  3. Fucking hell, what a horrid night.
  4. "Ah hope he doesn't apply for me job" Cracking article btw HF
  5. This was said last year too, they can get to fuck man, there wont be a post mortem if we survive it'll simply be 'okay what's the least we can do to survive and we'll see where we are in January' as fucking always.
  6. I remember hearing he wasn't injury prone before he come here, what the fuck do our staff do? are they kicking this lot in?

Any chance of him unzipping his mouth to say he was mistranslated? to be fair he's a far better writer than the Knight Ryder, maybe the Ronnie Gill could give him a job when he hangs up his boots as he's a good listener.
  8. Those last four years have been consistency at it's finest mind 38, 41, 38, 41 point finishes. That's what 150m buys you these days.
  9. I just imagine him jotting it down with his tongue out and Jonas pointing at a word on the page "i theeenk eeets Caaant no' Canit" Then WIlliamson walks past "nah maaayte its spewwt Carnt, I fink thats it". It's incredible man, the fact they would even be thinned skinned enough to go "ahh well he did write it, you see!! DO YOU SEE!", then to have Carver completely fall off his rocker and call himself the best coach in the league. What the fuck is that about? that'll lose any respect he had at all with the players, why would you even say such a thing? There's probably supporters out there who could do a better job let alone professional coaches, in fact he actually can't do any worse since he has lost every game for the last two month. It's embarrassing enough supporting the club at the moment without watching the bloke in charge having a full on Frank Bruno break down, which I'm agreeing with Gemmill now that he's having. I'd say Charnley needs to do something but he has already had a meeting and is fully convinced by this fella so it'd be a fair assumption to think he's losing his marbles too, as he's also in a job he has no qualifications to be in!
  10. I don't know if it's within their power but it would be nice if all the European FA's told Fifa where to go and carried on playing through the winter (I know many already have a 2 week or so break but the World Cup one will be a month or so right?) and refused to release any players from their clubs to play in it. This world cup is an absolute disgrace tbh and the heads of Fifa deserve human rights charges leveled at them along with Qatar. Of course like I say I've no clue if it's within any of the FA's powers but I do know none of them have the bollocks to do it so the tournament will go ahead even if they were shooting workers who weren't working hard enough.
  11. Maybe we still pay him the same wage he got when he was Freddie's tea man? Good value if he is tbh, although for the amount of decisions he has actually made we should have just put the tea kettle in his role. The Tea kettles silence might have driven Carver to quit as he thought it was playing hardball and he ended up speaking first.
  12. That would probably improve him as a manager tbh, he might stop insulting all the players.
  13. It would be unbelievable if we didn't know these blokes. Terrifying that they're running a football club.
  14. Messi's also 3 years or so younger, so he'll have 3 years more scoring at this sort of rate than Ronaldo in all probability. Fwiw I'm not bothered which is better, they're both among the best to ever play the game.

Aye, I'm sick to the back teeth of the club coming out and basically having a pop at the support telling them to get behind the team. The support base have suffered some absolute shite under this bloke that very few fan bases have ever had to endure and we still average well over 40k a game. We have watched some of the most boring and pointless football the club has seen in the last 3 seasons and have watched the club be transformed from an ambitious, albeit poorly run and overpaying, club to a completely pointless one. They are in the business of entertainment and what they're doing is akin to a top performer selling out concerts, coming out and mumbling some of their lesser known songs before screaming at the stunned crowd to cheer him off, then the press come out and write some articles about what a bunch of cunts the crowd are. The players simply don't deserve any support, they've had it and it hasn't improved their performances at all so why should people come along, spend a significant part of their pay cheque, be served up something that quite frankly doesn't resemble Premier League football and then be told by the club captain (and the club itself) to get behind the team even more. Do something about it, how about you lot play like you actually pick up a wage packet for playing the sport? give the people in the crowd that are spending their fucking money to watch you perform something to get behind, because witnessing our players intentionally getting themselves sent off and generally looking like they'd rather be sitting at home playing fifa, or drinking whatever fucking daft tea this shit haired wank likes to drink, is simply nothing to get behind or cheer.
  16. Great article btw: "Perhaps they were one of the southerners who jumps off the train, shouts, “Why Aye, Spuggy!” at every redhead and then gets headbutted on the Bigg Market before midnight. It’s as good an explanation as any." Sad that more can't take a second to analyse the situation like him and Caulkin, many are quick just to shit out stuff about how we deserve it because Pardew's great and we expect too much without bothering to even watch us play. This includes our very own Lee who currently has his tongue lodged so far up Ashley's arse he's cleaning his adam's apple.

Aye nowt like being basically called shit fans by a bloke who has been shite for almost two years and has actively tried to moan his way out of a contract while captain of the club. Cue him fucking up against West Brom, getting his tighty whiteys in a twist and kicking Berahino up the backside resulting in him getting sent off and thus playing his last game of the season.
  18. Aye he was there but we had a far better coaching staff as a whole, and of course Sir Bob himself. I remember us playing Chelsea and Bramble having Drogba in his back pocket all game, Drogba couldn't do anything for him but late on Chelsea humped up a long ball Titus lost the flight and completely misjudged it resulting in a Drogba goal. Think it was always a concentration issue with him, he had all the physical traits and ability (some of his long balls were canny) but then he'd switch off and cost us a goal.
  19. Aye, you think they couldn't have been as bad as they actually looked to us at the time going off what they were able to achieve. I know the attack carried them a lot but still, they put the current lot to shame tbh. Mind to be fair I think coaching probably had a lot to do with it really.
  20. Most of them are canny. There must have only been 6 sent in mind going off the last one, what a shit show.
  21. Aye he definitely told them where to go, cant blame him as it's pretty clear he's their only option he holds all the fucking cards. He could risk having a relegation against his name after being in charge of only 3 games and have to undergo a monstrous restructuring summer in order to be competitive, or he can say nah try again later sit back and see if we can survive, if we do Charnley will come crawling from Newcastle to get him and if we don't then he can stay at Derby and probably be more competitive than us anyway. It's unreal that this is a bloke that in his own business bullies people to such a point that he's always in a position of strength yet when it comes to his football business we're almost always in the weak position, we deplete positions to such a point and make such large profits that half the football world knows we can afford to spend bigger on their players and we're desperate enough that we might do it. The difference I suppose is that we take the same stance as his other business and go "nah keep him then ya fackin maaaaahg" but rather than having them come crawling back at a lower price they just shrug and sell him to someone else (as Bony was sold to Swansea etc).

They're ridiculous tbh, they loaned a load of players out because we had back ups ahead of them so why not but then they went and sold the back ups. Wooops.
  23. Spot on, he's so indecisive it's costing us time and time again. Like you say the plan and direction under Llambias was one most of us didn't like (profitability at the expense of entertainment) but at least it was a clear plan and it was pretty much guaranteeing Premiership football. As much as I dislike the bloke he followed his plan, he got rid of Hughton because he wanted Pardew etc this bloke is just stood shivering looking at the clock hoping it's time for him to go home and Kinnear just fucked off on holiday whenever it actually came time for him to do his job .
