Aye I agree, it's crackers that a bloke like him is in the position he's in. The most troubling thing is he's only in that position due to being underpaid for his position and that he's fully happy to do it for that pay while feeding the fanbase Ashley's bilge. Aye Elliot is dogshit but he'd probably want more money than Elliot. I definitely agree we need to upgrade the goalkeeping position as I think Krul needs to be pushed a bit more as you said earlier, hopefully Darlow can do some of that but from last I heard he wasn't great (I've not seen the lad play), I'd love to see the back of Elliot either way mind as I think he was a Pardew lackey and he seems like a total bellend.

Aye, I'd look at it as how he reacts to adversity and it would worry me if I was thinking about plunging 10m+ into him as well as a 50k a week contract. He'd struggle like, I think the way he verbally abuses those he's in charge of would mean he wouldn't last long.
