  1. Spot on, fully agree about the Southampton bit. He's been here 7/8 years so the Academy kids that are reaching 18 now would have been 10 or 11 when he took over, we could easily be reaping the rewards of a good coaching and scouting network. How much would it even cost? I can't imagine decent youth coaches and a local scouting network would cost much money, even if you said 1m a year we'd recoup that by placing one league place higher. It should have been top priority for him and it seemed like it was going to be as that would fit the model he was supposedly interested in however as you say I think he abandoned it. Amazing when you look at the coaching staff and that bloke who got fired couldn't even get kept on at a League two club after us, how much less money was a bloke like him demanding than a youth coach with some ability? The ill state of the academy is simply down to him being a tight cunt, I know it wasn't exactly stellar under the Halls and Shepherd but they preferred the idea of spending lots of money in the transfer window which was faulty for another reason. It's just odd like you have mentioned as the shocking state of the coaching staff and scouting network fly completely in the face of the profits he clearly wants to make, for a relatively small outlay he could be making much larger profits and I would have thought the Carroll transfer would have shown that to him (of course not always to that level but teams will pay large sums for young British talent). It would also mean the players that have been brought in for profit potential would realise that potential, we've just lost money on Yanga Mbiwa and Santon and although he will no doubt make a profit Sissoko's margin of profit grows slimmer by the shite performance. He simply makes no sense and I'd say he's a total fucking moron but the bloke is a billionaire through his own business acumen.
  2. Your sister is your mother, your uncle is your brother You all fuck one another, the Mackem family
  3. I'd love to believe Carver's trainers are photoshopped but sadly that's what he really wears, the colossal fucking charva.
  4. Aye Edgar was shite, same as that Huntington lad was. Our academy is shocking really, Carroll, Taylor, Ramage, Orr, Ameobi brothers, Dummett, that's the best it has put out in the last decade, even the mackems put out Henderson and Colback, Henderson being better than anyone in our list imo and Colback is a regular starter for us . Shit coaching staff to blame tbh, we've had plenty of lads come in who were highly rated like that Speer lad, Kadar and Zamblera or whatever he was called and none have come close to making it, never mind the pathetically average players we have produced from the area.
  5. They all sprinted out.
  6. "Wheeze blue pop is over heeyah marras?"
  7. Agreed, total and utter nonsense. We played from 1993/94 all the way up to 2008/09 with no relegation's, we could now be relegated for the second time during Ashley's tenure and narrowly avoided it the season before last. Ashley has been a nightmare for this club.
  8. What an utter shit show, are they preparing us for blue and white stripes? Ridiculous. Mind as HMHM said you'd have to be a right chode to go out as an adult and buy that.
  9. Completely forgot Harewood had played for us
  10. Ashleyout.com should print 40,000 of those out and have people hold them up as John heaves his kite to his seat
  11. Agree with what DK and Alex said. Another difference for me is we don't have those squad players that I think could step up and have an impact (like Lovenkrands) as our squad is paper thin now.
  12. Aye Elmohaddy hattrick for sure.
  13. He could have managed games at Chelsea with just the one knee cap man, he stayed because it's liverpooooool and because he loves having his house broken into, Sterling has a lot to learn about that sort of loyalty.
  14. Even more incentive, he'll beat us 3-0 we go down after Hull flukes a win and the mackems will have a statue up of him before he even arrives to sign a contract with them to be their new manager.
  15. Aye utterly pathetic. They need to give their heads a good shake. Grown men ffs.
  16. Aye it's impossible to say we'd be unlucky to go down, we've all been saying "of we cant beat this team then we fully deserve to go down" every week for the last month and we've lost basically all of them. I'm the same as Paddocklad in that my head is saying aye but it's going to be galling to see us get relegated, especially if the nappy rippers get promoted.
  17. It's the wine gums that get me, guaranteed he bought them for the trip forgot about them and then had a right smile to himself as he realized he had a treat in his bag for after the game, if they won of course.
  18. Fat Sam will be trying his best to get them up for it like, he'll be desperate to do his bit in our relegation party. Scary that our last three games of the season have all come against poor sides who have absolutely fuck all to play for and we'll manage 1 point in total Fucking appalling, the mental bit is if we manage to escape this mess by Hull losing you know that Carver will come out after the 3-0 loss against West Ham with a full shit eating grin announcing how he has steered the team clear of relegation and that he believes he has proven he deserves the job full time.
  19. I'll probably just watch this next week tbh, I agree it's the important one as I give us no chance whatsoever of beating West Ham. The match today is the big one for Man Utd which is a worry for next week, as they could well and truly have the flip flops out by then.
  20. This is where the knight Ryder sets himself apart, cue a backpage spread about how brilliant Krul is, how marvelous and totally not out of date his hair cut is and how none of the goals this season were his fault. Then let the behind the scenes scoops roll in.
  21. Agree fully. I might be remembering it wrong but I watched that documentary about Scholes, Beckham, Giggs and that lot once, there was a bit where Gary Neville was talking about winning the Champions League and afterwards he barged into Scholes' room to get him out, Scholes was sat in bed, lights off, watching a film on his laptop and eating wine gums . I think he was one of the extreme rarity of blokes who actually would have played for nowt, he just loved playing and wasn't arsed about any of the celebrity that come with it. He was a shocking tackler btw although that was just lack of ability in that area rather than cuntery like Gerrard.
