Aye they'll never make it out the group stage again if this is the sort of rank performance they put in, even when we win it looks like this. Jones off for Lallana moving Henderson to right back, fucking hell, Clyne who was one of the best right backs in the league sat on the bench and Austin one of the top English scorers in the league on the bench.

Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)
Howay replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
"Do this lot not feel we're ambitious after being linked to Austin? Send them a letter saying we may give the cups a proper shot". -
Fingers crossed.
-
That's up to you since you're the one questioning it.
-
No I don't but I'm not the one trying to prove something here, I'm also trusting that after having a 60 odd year film career where he has seemingly been questioned many times by interviewers about his SF past someone would have come out and exposed him, even if it was on a military forum, they even have whole sections of forums about exposing walter mitty's. If you're so arsed why don't you look into Lee's military service properly yourself? It seems like you want too.
-
Definately, McClaren going "A word Lee?.... erm what the fuck are you doing in there?" "Ermm... well... it's Mike's technique isn't it" "Excuse me Mr McClaren, Mr Charnley... it seems as if West Brom have decided to outbid you and since they are willing to y'know actually budge and come to an agreement we've went with their offer." "Fucking hell Lee" "It's okay Steve... I'll get Ryder on the blower he'll write a story about how the club tried to buy Ronaldo 15 year ago to show how big we are" "Fuck right off Penfold" "Can we at least be reimbursed for the trip down here Mr Fernandes?"
-
They'd have no more to gain than outing the normal walter mitty, which is to show up a bloke who's falsely claiming valor which guys that show up these types rightfully see as an insult to those who have served. Many of the lads who will have talked about their service in books and the like no doubt needed money a lot more than Lee so he's simply seeking to keep the secret on his end. I think it seems likely he was put on missions with them as Intelligence, and perhaps he's not mentioned much in books etc because Special forces lads tend to respect each others privacy and while they're happy to detail their own involvement rarely go round spouting off about each other (unless of course that person is involved as well/said it was fine). I'm not sure why you're so eager to have a pop at a blokes service record despite having no evidence at all to dispute it short of you've not seen him mentioned in books you've read.

Aye seems more likely to be the Chelsea link for the reasons Haydnator suggests. Be chuffed if we manage to sign him.
-
Aye, Walter Mitty's tend to be hounded out if they're lonely fat blokes joining into parades let alone a world renowned actor and especially if they're claiming to be part of a SF group due to the obviously small community. If he was a liar he'd have been exposed as one well before now, and probably by someone more credible than Mako.

The Secret Diary of Lee Ryder (aged 44 and a half)
Howay replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
I can actually imagine him saying that. Class as always HMHM. -
Cracking news, incredible that we might get some money for him I always thought he'd see out his contract and then warm the bench for Crawley.
-
Aye, as if it's about Charlemagne as well.

RIP Lee and Moody. I watched Oliver a lot as a kid and Fagin was one of the most memorable characters, surprised to hear he just died because he seemed old even in that movie, I assume it was just the make up like. Lee was clearly a legend, didn't know he led a life like that mind! Special forces and then getting to play Villains in a ton of films, what a life.
-
I fully expect this to be another that can't cross the line then, no doubt Charnley will sit sweating thinking about how 10m is utterly absurd never mind 15m and QPR will sell him to someone else for 12m.
-
Aye it is, probably because it looks like something PSG would wear. It's canny enough mind probably the best Puma have managed for us tbh, pity it's a kit the team will almost never wear.
-
Aye howay CT you must know Berahino man. Would love this to be true, a forward three of Berahino, Austin and Perez would be very exciting to watch. Obviously not getting excited until he's fully signed up but he'd be a class buy for the club especially as there is surely a canny bit of interest from other teams.

Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)
Howay replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
His points about the Youth were the more interesting bits of what he said imo. I hope he can really help our youth set up and he's allowed to bring in some credible coaches who can actually train the kids at the club. He had a decent record for giving youth players a chance and coaching them up when he was at Boro, hopefully he can manage similar here because our youth production has been pretty poor for a long time. -

Was just about to say, McClaren comes across well enough but as others have said any future success depends on the amount the club is willing to spend.
